The MSM forever has been demonizing the world, as to say the USA is 'good', when in fact all one had to do was travel, and see how happy most of the world is outside of the USA.
The US isn't evil, it's corrupt. There is a difference. USSA is in it's terminal decline, appropriately enough, and will soon join England in the former world power club.
It isn't about fleeing from one country to another for the sake of freedom, but in reality it's about fleeing to a country that isn't a pawn of the U.S. hegemony. Snowden went to China and Russia because 1. The U.S. isn't in a position to make and enforce their demands to these two countries, and 2. They're easier to get to than, lets say, North Korea or Iran.
There isn't any doubt that there are worse countries than the U.S. (according to whatever standard you consider good or bad), but stick around for a bit and you'll see that change pretty quickly.

Good advice but the local banker can spill out the beans on your finances, If you are banking in the nearby city your banker is someone's brother in law in your village, if you bank overseas your transfers are also known. Hard to hide wealth.
