A belief system is a religion and unless I am mistaken James Morrison’s a believer in religious humanism as per his statements that Christians should run for church office instead of public office.
Who’s to say that a religion that calls for biting chickens’ heads off is more dangerous than Morrison’s religion of agnosticism or atheism or that of Richard Dawkins', of which the ugly underbelly of his worldview is anti-Muslim hate, i.e., Islamophobia.
The evidence for his “religion”: “All the world’s Muslims have fewer Nobel Prizes than Trinity College, Cambridge.”
Of all the “religions,” Christianity is the tolerant religion. Again, case in Point: Morrison.

I'm having a hard time understanding how I first have to be "saved".
This has led to some very interesting conversations because I don't really know that I need "saving". I (respectfully/non-confrontational) ask these people why I'm no good until I'm saved and don't really get any answers. They seem perplexed when I pose certain questions like:
"If I haven't been saved and I see your house burning down, do you want me to go in and help you or not?"
I've got to be missing something. Many people that I know are much smarter than me and are religious so I'll try to figure it out.

What a good day for articles on ZH, started with this great work from William, then two ariticles on nat gas, shale gas that explains in great detail how anybody buying electricity made from natural gas production is going to get sticker shock shortly on the heat bill. Here in the mid hinderland the propane retail suppliers have jacked propane from $1.35 this fall to $6 per gallon.
I sit back with 19 oil and gas wells producing and more coming on line in the Permian Basin area, with new horizonal drilling starting and the prediction of 4 times as much oil and gas will be produced as has been since the 1960's

We did business with Geo the lessor when he was CEO of Midland Oil Co and got bailed out by the Bin Laden family, lets see, been thru at least 3 booms and busts, dealing with some of the most corrupt, slimy people you have ever met. George Kiser really comes to mind on that level. Took him for $96 million a few years back in a class action involving 2,000 Beaver County Oklahoma people. Just love to take skin off the hides of cocksuckers like him. With leasing to oil companies, the old rule applies, "don;t believe anything you read and only half of what you see". The "land men" are the worst lying cocksucker of the bunch.
