That's one sly piece of doublespeak right there with a hint of Catch-22 thrown in for good measure. Good 'un WB!

Invokes the ZH golden oldie meme: All your privacy are belong to us.

That's some catch, that Catch-22.

America is being “Nazified,” by corporate interests. As some may recall Hitler’s rise to power took twists and turns. Corporations employ plans over long periods, decades. Meanwhile most American live in the moment dependent on the very monopolies securing their interests at the expense of the republic today. Jefferson was correct in his well founded fears concerning the undue influence of money and corporate power usurping constitutional checks and balances, under the color of law.

So, how did everyone like King Equalities speechifying last night?

Does MyRA make any kind of sense for "those just starting out" as they are forced to take two part time jobs because of ObamaCare? And this raising the minimum wage for federal contract workers by imperial edict, it would have carried more weight if he had also said, he plans to pay for it by reaching into federal workers pockets to cover the difference, instead of the taxpayer.

But then, inanities along with economic destruction is what he does best.

Problem is, jobs worth doing don’t pay a living wage— usually nothing at all.

Despite the fact that she married the moron, she is not an idiot. Which brings me to wonder what she is thinking when she watches the circus clown front and center. She has to play the part of the vacuous first lady. All the fancy wookie vacations? I read that as her saying, if I have to put up with this turkey's shit I am going to enjoy myself doing it on somebody else's dime. It often peeks through in her body language. It is very difficult to disguise 100%.

When he is out of office, she will do her own thing. And the exposure and recognition from being FL is what she is after.

That does not justify it in the least. But it sort of explains what we are seeing.

And then there is the scary thought of her eventually going political. By playing the part of the oblivious FL, she removes herself from sharing the blame for his consummate fiasco. So the more innane her role appears the more impervious her defense.

Anything can happen, but this is a scenario to be concerned about further on down the line.

Not verbatim, Hitlery made the mistake of engaging in politics as FL and that was a set back. She lost time as a result and now her age is an issue. There are questions about her health, her shabby appearance and her judgement.

The field now on both sides is so narrow anything can happen going forward.

Not on the same scale. Hitlery was piped up as a Second VP until her healthcare offensive dive bombed. We had to listen to the media expplain why the President's wife should be in a policy making role.

In any event, we need to keep alert for sneak attacks.

I'm sorry, I had to downvote this, due to the fact that George Soros (although he is one of the evil ones) is being painted as the Strawman for the masses. In 3...2...1... The one painting him up like this is Glen (onion-boi) Beck...but that meme has lost traction over the years, now...

Oh, NO, I don't think that Henry Kissinger might have been involved in THE LEAST...or Zbignew Brezinski...or Rahm Emmanuel...or Valerie Jarrett...or J.P. fucking MORGAN...or any number of OTHER ones who work behind the scenes...

OH, NO. NEVER look at the larger issues; ALWAYS pick the ONE to call out, as a 'scapegoat', like OBAMA...or SOROS...and ALWAYS repeat the targeted names AGAIN and AGAIN, to deflect from the ACTUAL issues...like a page out of Saul Alinsky's BOOK...

HITLER was much like OBAMA. He also had his 'handlers', and 'influential people' and 'advisors' (much like the Biblical account of King Saul).

Lower-classed minions ALWAYS continue the half-truths (also known as PROPAGANDA; or 'telling a part of the truth without revealing the REST of it'), as a way to either engraciate themselves to those who hold the power (in the hopes of a scrap from the Master's table); or rather as a way to keep alive the false belief in a dying and decaying system of the 'grand oligarchy' that has promised SO MUCH to those pathetic, hopeless people who SO MUCH WISH and WANT to believe that Dorothy was simply DREAMING as the world around her collapsed and crumbled.

Gee, I hope I didn't sound too HARSH here. SOROS is (and by his chronological age soon to be 'WAS') an evil traitorous bastard who sold his own family out (to the point of death), and is also quite rich (in terms of monetary gain that 'most' consider 'important'), so there is NO ARGUMENT as to the evil that this one exudes from every pore of his skin-covered machine (and, no doubt, his reward will not be pleasing or comfortable).

BUT,

SOROS is NOT responsible, directly or indirectly, to the current state of affairs on this Earth. He is simply a 'gamer'; an 'opportunist', and a few other descriptive words that I hesitate to even state. SURE, he did some stuff, but it was all for HIM...as he is servile to his master of the air...he is a 'fence-sitter', so to speak, and therefore NOT a PRIMARY TARGET. He has NOTHING to do (directly, at least) with the current political takeover and abrogation of the former United States (except as an outside influence, with regards to monetary, political, and other influences).

OOPS. I forgot his 'LA RAZA' stuff...

The internet is not a big truck. It is not a big truck. It's not something that you just dump something on.

The internet is a series of tubes.

SO...

Zerohedge has a server, and internet bandwidth, and posts things to the 'internet'. These posts get 'ad-on' advertisements from the 'sponsors' (damn, i've seen a lot of comments about the sexy girl ads, but most of them don't get through over here, damnit to hell!). THEN, they go to the 'ISP's. The ISP's (or, 'Internet Service Providers') then BUNDLE the links up in to 'PACKETS' (which can be sent in a stream of information). WELL, the next step is the communication between the ISP's all over the world, using the HTTP (HyperTextTransferProtocol). SOME ISP's ALSO add on advertisements (ar are hacked in to, hence the 'trojan' threats). The NEXT step is to disemminate the imnformation by the recieving ISP in to packets, in order to sort them in to what you all a 'web I.P address' (like, your computer there wherever you are). IF you happen to be using a '4G' device, of course, the 'telecom provider' ALSO adds crap to the stream (because you want this, as you signed up for this crap), so you are most likjely NOT running a 'stable platform' (and/or are trying to get Zerohedge on Android, Blackberry, or some other high gigawatt brain-burning REALLY THIN MOBILE DEVICE that is 'open-sourced' [I.E., subject to being hacked by advertisers aroung the frigging globe]).

Most likely, you have some trojan working at YOUR end, causing isses (but any number of issues could be mentioned, such as the software not being updated; and therefore incompatible). When this issue starts at THIS end, I KNOW that there is an issue HERE (NOT at the originator). MALWARE likes to hide undecected for several time-periods, sometimes hidden in 'email' stuff; sometimes included in 'pop-ups' that need to be brushed aside, ETCETERA.

William Banzai #7 isn't doing it.

a few years ago live ad content was inconceivable, because of bandwidth problems, and companies which made fiber optics were going parabolic. then we had the WiFi, cellphone rollout, and most everyone agreed it was a great way to work around the (cable) bandwidth problem. so now you get better computer connectivity through your laptop. the only limits on wireless is location. satelitte TV is fixed location, and you might get a phone signal on the fringe but full connectivity is less certain. the connectivity revolution is counter productive economically, or WTF. the first great depression saw the rollout of electrical appliances, these were all labor saving devices, which ended the old service industries, the iceman the milkman the livery stable. now its a question of information and entertainment, how much do people need? otherwise the internet can operate in the background, checking our appliances, our car, and telling us the milk is out of date and ordering some more. none of that was economically beneficial, it was only WW2 and a return to old methods of industrial production that revived the economy, just like Apple which failed as a computer operating system, but is a huge hit in the second wave as a cellphone manufacturer. just about every economic gain in the last 100years is built on improved manufacturing, not new technology. the atomic bomb was built because of processed uranium, after you get the fissionable material even a monkey can make it go bang. most of the advances are really low tech like China in the 80's where all this stuff is made

"The internet is a series of tubes."

That's one way to look at it;)  I prefer to think of it as a series of islands - some interesting, some not so much - that you can only get to by swimming through a sea of sharks.

The internet is now approaching stage 4 in the Grand Technology Cycle:

1. first appears as a novelty

2. is adopted as a convenience

3. becomes a necessity

4 and finally, an obstacle.

One of the major questions I'm currently working on is, "what comes next?"

Nothing conclusive yet, but it will probably look something like this:

I have flagged it politely and I am sure they are focusing on it. They are also stretched thin, which is daunting since the platforms are all in rapid flux now. It is very rare to find a site that looks good on all three.

I personally can't stand looking at any of my stuff on a mobile phone. Viewing my images is great on a tablet loaded with the Flip Board App. All you have to do is book mark my blog or my Flickr e my twitter address and voila, you can cruise everything like a book.

And if they'd like they could force everything into a frame so things don't overlap, or, they could put their blog side-margin listings into script-enabled pop-ups. I never click on them anyways. What I often do now is copy the article top to bottom to an email window, zoom it up & close the page it came from.

Ads are already blocked but a zoom on the page merely squeezes the article to 10 words wide with the side-bars getting too big. I'd rather they be gone.
