... for that matter it occurs to me that Bernanke will still be around and available for weddings and bar mitzvahs, what *are* his plans? How will he get through the day without printing another few billion dollars? He'll probably shave that beard and spend the next year in Miami Beach, is my guess.
I like the QE Hangover cause I'm quite a fan of the Austrian crack-up boom/ bust theory. It also reminds me of what engineers on missile projects used to say sometimes; "Since we didn't have the time to do it right, it's a lucky thing we'll have plenty of time to do over again".

I liked the "End of Sanity" one best, with the cute "moron hazard" quip.
However, paradoxically, what has been happening is actually the exponential rate of the emergence of the true fundamentals, i.e., the FED was the result of the triumphant application of the methods of organized crime in order to take control over the government. The FED was legalized fraud, which automatically ran away with itself, and therefore, Bernanke presided over an era of again doubling the total amount of "money" made out of nothing as debts. While, of course, the image of Yellin attempting to hold back the flood is gross understatement, since it gets harder and harder to imagine the FED yet again DOUBLING the DEBTS, which is what it would take to keep the established systems going ...
All the other images were spin-offs of showing the ways that the true fundamentals, of triumphant fraud, become increasingly perceived as bizarre absurdities. The basic contradiction present in systems whereby the principles of organized crime succeed in driving through the legalized counterfeiting of the public money supply by private banks is that the legalized violence that backs up those legalized lies can never make those legalized lies become true. Instead, the fundamentals of force backed frauds is that they automatically must drive worse cognitive dissonance towards psychotic breakdowns.
To return to the image of RIP Fundamentals, the "End of Sanity" is merely the ending of the illusions about what the "fundamentals" were. IF enough people understood that the real fundamentals are actually the application of the principles and methods of organized crime, enough people would have to wake up out of the self-induced and desired delusions that there were any other real "fundamentals" than organized lies, operating organized robberies. The paradox of triumphant organized crime controlling governments is that it necessarily creates a Bizarro Mirror World, where the biggest criminals get to strut around as the "good guys," while the real history of having backed up their frauds with force continues to dominate civilization.
It was always a silly and superficial view to believe that the economy and investing was not based upon the history of fraud backed by force, where the money was backed by murder. However, precisely to the degree that the force backed frauds in the monetary system prevail, so simultaneously does the destruction backed deceits prevail in the murder systems. The real basis of the FED was its history of skillfully applying the methods of organized crime, through the political processes, in order to be able to take control over the government, so that legalized lies could be backed by legalized violence, which required brainwashing enough people to believe in that bullshit, no matter how bizarre it actually was to appear to positively create something out of nothing.
In that context, we have barely begun to "Return to the Abyss" since that abyss is an almost infinite tunnel. The "Chairsatan" symbolizes the success of the system of triumphant organized crime, built on legalized fraud, backed by the force of government. Unfortunately, I can not think of any better ways to illustrate the infinitely fractal nature of how organized crime provides the best metaphors to describe how energy systems actually operate. It would be Escher drawn to infinity, such that most viewers could not focus in on that, since most viewers want to still believe that there ought to be living fundamentals for the economy that are not based upon the operation of organized crime.
The THEORY of free market capitalism does not include fraud and murder. It especially does not include triumphant fraud and murder taking control over that free market capitalism. However, the deliberate social delusion was the original false view, of the denial of the way that the fundamentals were always actually deceits backed by destruction, or frauds backed by force. The failure to understand that has enabled the FED to become a runaway fascist plutocracy juggernaut, which is going to turn most people into its road kill. The oligarchs driving that machine may not agree on everything when steering it, but they do tend to agree on keeping their machine rolling.
What is really happening is that the political economy was always inside of the human ecology, and the fraud in the first matched the deceits in the second. Meanwhile, the mad majority of Americans, as well as the rest of the world's population, WANT to keep the false fundamental dichotomies between economics and ecology going, so that they do NOT have to reconcile how money is backed by murder, but rather, can continue to indulge in their delusions that the "fundamentals" of economics and investing should operate hermetically sealed within an idealized political economy, divorced from its real ecological environment.
In that context, the meaning of the Great Chairsatan's Return to the Abyss is that we are returning to stare through the infinite tunnels of deceits, which are what actually control civilization. Indeed, we are waking up inside of those tunnels, which stretch as far back in time as they may continue forward.
We do not need a privately owned central bank to create trillions and trillions out of thin air and loan this ether created money to the government, and then require us taxpayers to repay this ether created money back, principle plus interest. This is insane.
Under Article 1, Section 8 of the US Constitution, the government can have the treasury issue debt free money into the system, bypassing the privately owned Fed and eliminate enriching the banking cartels that own the Fed, while at the same time, freeing us taxpayers from the Fed's debtor prison. The Fed is the greatest scam, the greatest market manipulator and the greatest weapon of mass destruction aimed at the citizens of America in our history. To continue letting them rip us off is insane.

Well, SAT 800, I have only studied the history of the monetary system during the last decade or so, since that became relatively easy to do, if one was willing to spend enough time sifting through material that became available on the Internet.
Several decades ago, it was already obvious to me that the established monetary system was insane, in the way that it ignored the basic laws of nature, by creating "money" out of nothing, in ways which were impossible to reconcile with anything in the real ecology. Originally, I was more concerned that the weapons of mass destruction, that backed up that money made out of nothing, were much more insane. That motivated me to become involved in Canadian registered politics. In turn, that led me to focus on the history of the feedback roles of money in funding the political processes.
That then led to my spending about 15 years in court cases against the government of Canada over the laws that control the funding of registered political parties. That is what I am still working on now: http://www.marijuanaparty.ca/article.php3?id_article=215 ... although that is such a prolonged process that it is typical for each step to take anywhere from many months, to years, like a very slow motion chess game, as the long game of politics. Since my "work" goes so slowly, I have time to amuse myself reading Web sites like Zero Hedge, and posting my kinds of comments on that content.

The farm phucks at the local coffee shop did not have much to say about Obummer this morning after I told them cattle prices are at time highs even after factoring inflation and the price of the land they own has tripled since that "nigger in the White House" got in. I suggested that the consumer needed another Nixon and beef price freeze to disrupt this rapid incease in food prices and a limit or freeze on beef exports since they are such devout Republicans.......The older ones had that intropective look, the younger ones looked to the elders wih a "whats a price freeze" look n thier faces.
