Element, about 40 years ago a wrote a book which was primarily about "artificial selection" as what natural selection becomes when human beings become more self-conscious of that process. The more artificial the environment we live in becomes, which separates us from the natural environement, then the more important artificial selection becomes.
"Death controls" include everything throughout all phases of life. Most of what we call "birth controls" are actually forms of death control. Generally speaking stopping something is real death control, while encouraging something to grow is true birth control. However, it is practically impossible to get through the way that most people use language, in order to discuss these things in ways which are consistent with biological sciences. What we are actually doing in those areas tends to be a screwed up as it could possibly be.
Obviously, the main concern with death controls are regarding weapons of mass destruction. That concern motivated me to become involved with registered politics, which in turn resulted in my spending a few decades working on the problem of the funding of the political process, which is what I am still working on:

However, my current conclusions after doing all that are that there is no reasonable hope. The overwhelming vast majority of people, at least 95%, if not 99%, deliberately behave like Zombie Sheeple, and want to continue to be like that. Just wanted to add in response to your reply that positing the replacement of natural death controls with artificial death controls sort of fails to take on board the fact that people struggled for thousands of years to be relieved of short nasty life-spans and natural processes which produced that.
In other words I doubt people are going to go along with artificial involuntary death controls or mechanisms when they've just got through with casting off the natural death controls. i.e. they will continue to struggle against death, and I'd suggest this also is 'natural'.

I agree, Element, that human beings are 100% within the world, which is natural. (However, how BIG that natural world truly IS remains to be seen.) I use the word "artificial" in the sense that it is done by humans. The REAL world now runs on rulers who deny the facts about what they are doing, who say that no conscious murder systems should exist, while the covertly run those system, on the basis of the maximum deceits (like false flag attacks). Those who are ruled mostly are tricked by those lies. However, the few that figure out some of those lies still tend to promote the same bullshit that no murder systems should consciously exist, which always backfires badly in the real world.
The established powers hide the ways that they really operate their combined money/murder systems, while they promote bullshit about that. The controlled opposition reveals some more of the reality of how the combined money/murder systems exist, but then promotes the same bullshit that those systems should not exist.
My approach is to BOTH reveal more of the social facts about the real systems, AND to promote the idea that those systems MUST necessarily exist, and perhaps could be better done, IF we would relatively stop lying as much about those facts, as well as relatively stop lying as much about whether or not such sets of facts must exist.

I guess it never occured to you that the North Tower was right across the street from 7 WTC (not WTC 7). And that when the North Tower came down it was like a friggen earthquake combined with a 200 mph hurricane, neither of which NY skyscrapers are designed to withstand. What did happen was the 7 WTC was knocked out of plumb and it took some time for the stress to overcome the structure and then the building came down. No mystery. No science fiction.

Science fiction is believing that a modern structural steel office building would collapse due to "office fires" according to the NIST report. If that were the case, it wouldn't be safe to step foot in any modern structure. They'd be falling down all over the place. Did so a long time ago. YOU are not even close. Years ago i saw video of a demonstration of a fire that was set inside a factory building, underneath a steel beam. Wood was the combustible. The steel beam sagged. That is the reason that fire retardant is sprayed on steel- to protect it from heat due to common fires that occur in buildings, including office fires.
You can also drop the use of the word melt, as the WTC structural steel weakened from heat, not melted from heat.

If you were there then you would know that WTC 7 wasn't across the street. It was about 300 yds away with another WTC building in between. This building was completely stripped down to its steel frame from the falling debris but did not collapse.

I know I'm a pedant, but it was 330 feet, not yards. Hey, what the heck. Feet, yards....just a rounding error, right? And that "other building" between the 1368 foot WTC1 and WTC7 was the 8-story, 108 foot high WTC6. But it was a tall 108 feet, so it could have blocked all the debris if it refused to back down. Maybe. If the wind was working in its favor. I don't know how much potential energy existed in its standing structure, but at 8 stories, and calculating the work done on it by gravity, it was probably a lot less than in WTC1 or the 610 foot WTC7. There actually were people who knew the world was not run by anyone, and having reached the top of the wealth and power pyramid, saw that nobody was really in charge. Now people who get there to the summit do one of two things: 1) they accept that the variables at play are too many and their interactions too complex for anyone, or any group, to exert anything more than temporary control, or 2) those who reached the top go about trying to become what many of the deluded think really exist. Of course, this latter group fails, because of what the former group knows, or because they eat each other (see Dan Loeb/Carl Icahn vs Bill Ackman for a public example). The wider narrative, however, is fabricated by the forelorn, the batshit crazies, the Internet Charlatans, or those just looking to rationalize their own lack of happiness or success at living.
Along the way, this site broadened its scope, catering to the late comers who found they could say both "Lizard People" and "fuck" in the same sentence, and receive applause for doing so. First you should look up the definition of "plumb". It means perfectly vertical so that the weight of the building is tranferred to the foundation and not to one side or the other. Any force can be view as a combination of vertical and horizontal components. With a building, you want to build with enough structure to handle the weight (vertical force) and enough strength for incidental horizontal force (mainly from wind). If you took basic physics, you would understand that.
When a structure is stressed, it doesn't fail immediately. Once a building is knocked off plumb, the structure can hold for some time. But at some point it can't take any more and it comes down. Simple explanation for the simple minded.

Let's not so flippantly forget that there are video reports online of people who were trapped inside Building 7, by massive explosions that occurred before the collapse, who delivered harrowing accounts of repeated major explosions rocking through the building, on various nearby floors and stairwells, even before the WTC7 fire began. In fact, the fire was claimed by them to have been a result of the use of explosives and probably incendiaries in the hours prior to the collapse. They also said pointedly and clarified when asked that the major explosions began within WTC7 BEFORE the first jet struck the twin towers.
But hey, we're supposed to discount and ignore that first-hand eye-witness testimony of people who were actually inside WTC7, as this all occurred, and who recounted it to camera immediately after being freed from WTC7, and who reiterated it within subsequent TV interviews and documentaries.
No, were expected to instead take the argumentative 'werd' of some ... joker, ... or jokers, who were not present, and who are actually silly enough to assert opinionated contradictions of these direct testimonies of people who were not only present, but were inside WTC7, and who said they were repeatedly pounded by numerous massive explosions, on the floors above them, and below them, prior to getting out of the building just before the collapse.
Also, we're expected to ignore that at least one of those major explosions within WTC7 was actually captured on video, as firemen spoke to their families and said their potential last goodbyes. And the firemen were plainly saying there were bombs going off in the building.
We also have the video testimony of professional demolition expert, who was not retired, but was still actively operating in a professional large-scale demolition business, who within days of the collapses, said without reservation or hesitation that all of the three WTC collapses were controlled demolitions.
So we're to accept such shallow farcical denials and contradictions of witnesses and demolition experts, also?
Let's be clear, the onus is not on anyone here or elsewhere to explain why the evidence is credible, or sound, or compelling. It's not our testimony nor evidence, is it? The onus is on you, and people like you, to try and assert to those people who did live through all that, and who did participate in clear measured recorded videos, of what occurred right after it happened, that they must be completely mistaken. That they did not really see, hear and experience what they testified plainly and openly, and without hesitation or confusion about what they saw, heard and experienced directly.
But the major bomb blasts on video, heard by so many, and discussed by thousands present, may tend to offer some frustrations, even if you, who were not even there, could convince the witnesses, who were there, that they saw nothing like that at all.

There were no police and fire units sent to World Trade 7 in response to explosions. All of the response was to 1 World Trade, as an airliner had struck it.
The building was ordered evacuated, people were still in there who did not get the order, or else arrived after it was given, and the building still had not been sealed. And the fire crews that responded to WTC7 were who rescued people inside (and of course there is video evidence of that as well, and it was those firemen, called to do that rescue who were the first to notice the shockingly damaged state of WTC7 ... which had not been hit by any jet).
For which there's copious video and personal first-hand account evidence online. And they could not get out and fired crews had to rescue them simply because large parts of the stairwells, basement, elevators and lobby had already been destroyed by the on-going large preparatory explosions, that were still going on within the building.
Again, this was all described in detail by people who were actually present, inside the building as the explosions were occurring.

The Loma Prieta Earthquake was over 39 Thousand TIMES AS STRONG as the Ground Shaking caused by the North Tower Collapse.
Likewise the Loma Prieta Quake was over 63 Thousand TIMES AS STRONG as the Ground Shaking caused by the South Tower Collapse.
Not a single Skyscraper failed as a result of the Loma Prieta Earthquake.
There were Two Bridge Failures. But they were NOT PULVERIZED into dust.
