With the familiar gathering of NGO "usual suspects", i.e. the Jamestown Foundation among so many others, we see the same familiar pattern of one-sided rhetoric bereft of historical facts with no moral conscience for the pathological and systematic genocide we have been perpetrating in every part of the globe for decades. Even though the U.S. no longer uses the mantra of "Manifest Destiny", it might as well as it never left. Israel of course and it's systematic destruction of Palestine arguably created in our own image.
Putin has done a decent job of speaking truths to what the West has done in his neighborhood especially with the recent developments in the Ukraine, but he needs to go much further before the "usual suspects" become more emboldened as they grow more desperate with their actions by the hour.
As I said previously Peace in Sochi. If anything happens we will certainly know who did it and there will be hell to pay in the dishing out of retribution.
Unfortunately, the entire history mafia seems to be dominated by the usual suspects. It is up to the critical reader to attempt to decipher the plain old facts.
The American Indian was the first thing that came to my mind. But you can look at the whole history of Anglo Saxon imperialism.

I would say that that region around Sochi is much more interesting than what is presented in the Olympic narrative: Oh look at the cute tribal cotumes...
