BANZAI7 NEWS--Dick the toxic derivative giraffe died at the Copenhagen Zoo on Sunday.

He wasn't Too Big To Fail.

The cause of death was a shotgun blast, and after a public autopsy [in front of a bunch of school kids], the animal, who was 11 feet 6 inches, was chopped up and Fed to the zoo’s lions and other big feline counterparties.

Administrator Hank Paulsen said they had decided to kill Dick, who by Wall Street standards, was in just as good (or shitty) health as the other toxic derivative giraffes, because his genes were well represented among the captive TBTF giraffe population in  the Wall Street zoo.

Totally different situation. I also hunt and butcher, but this was no hunt, nor was it for butchering, ie human consumption.

Agreed, this was a different situation, and not like hunting.  This is more like farming.  And therefore it revolves around breeding & economic issues, period.

So...fucking...WHAT??  You think just because it is in a zoo, that the genetic rules of inbreeding cease to exist??  Or that the laws of economics go away???

On this site, of all places, you have a soft heart for an animal that can't be utilized yet costs money to keep alive??  And yet we all know the problems with welfare and the Free Shit Army and go on & on about how it is bad and needs to stop?!

Get your priorities straight, and grow a pair, as well as the hell up.  Just like a farm:  The animal is useful for as long as it is generating income.  Once it no longer does, and especially if it becomes an expense, then it's time to cull it, period.

I can tell you have been born & raised in a city your whole life.  Ever even been out in the woods, or to a real farm?

One of the greatest failures of this generation is the absurd notion that individual animals are as important as people.

So sad.

And it's the same argument "they" use to control you.  Wake up!

"You don't belong there; it is the animal's domain.  It was there long before you.  You can't drill there.  You can't swim there.  You can't hike there."

Individual humans are the ONLY species on the planet capable of performing deeds that can change the world - the universe, even - in astounding & powerful ways.  So stop being morons and bowing down to the PETA brainwashing, and stop placing animals on the same level of importance as humans.  Should have stopped doing that when you reached 10 years old, at the most.

ROFLOL! You think a species that is going to make itself extinct, along with most every other life on this planet is important? Yeah, about as important as a grain of sand on a beach when compared to what we really are in this universe.

For most, only to themselves and the people close to them.

Politicians seem to have a worse case of the disease than the rest.

Sieg Heil. Kill the Useless Eaters. /sarcasm

First off the Zoo had an opportunity to SELL THE ANIMAL.

Next it is you who is equating Welfare Programs of Human Beings to that of the Animals...as a NON SEQUITUR...But that only serves to demonstrate YOUR UNDERLYING ATTITUDE. You exposed your psychopathological attitude.

Sorry. I do not buy into Darwinism.

But since it is apparent that YOU DO and it is apparent that you believe that HUMAN BEINGS ARE ANIMALS, subject to Laws of the Animal Kingdom, then culling is what makes sense to you and your ilk..

The protest against the Free Shit Army IS NOT ABOUT KILLING OFF THE USELESS EATERS, HERR HITLER.

The protest is about that Government INTERFERES and provides incentives for those in the Free Shit Army so that they become UNWILLING TO WORK.

Do you really think that we promote Agenda 21 on Zerohedge?

You've got it allllllll backwards.   The problem is not that I am saying that animals should only be kept alive if they are generating income, because therefore in the future humans also should only be kept alive if they are useful.

Quite the opposite, in fact.

My whole point is that animals are NOT as important as humans, and therefore they can & should be treated as property, food, etc (respectfully, of course).  Humans, on the other had, should NEVER be treated the same as animals, BECAUSE we are more important than them.  We should ALWAYS be given love, care, rights, etc etc.

Your whole problem stems from the very beginning; the very basis of your logic has a HUGE flaw.  You start out with the absurd notion that humans & animals are equal, and therefore you jump to the conclusion that whatver is done to animals will therefore be argued by nazis can also be done to humans, since they are equal.  And so there is where you fail.

Instead, once you realize that humans and animals are NOT equal - that humans - ALL humans - are equal to eachother, and much more important than any animal, and the most important living species that has ever existed, then you will see that the very possibility of treating humans the same as animals goes away.

Not only does it go away, but it becomes clear that such a notion is exactly the opposite of how people should be treated.  The very notion that people can be treated like animals becomes completly revolting.  Completely insane.  Completely wrong.

But by you, instead, putting people and animals on the same level of importance...well, there, my man, is exactly how phsyically & mentally handicapped, elderly, etc etc people can become viewed as unimportant, expendable, property.

You are achieving the exact opposite of what you hope to accomplish by treating animals and people the same.

So stop thinking that we are the same, and start realizing that people are WAY more important than animals.

I hope this clears things up for you on not only where I stand, but also on what the flaw in your logic - and the possible dangers from it - has been.

watching this docu on African wildlife preserves. they set aside some land and relocate the local tribes, who are not allowed back in, and then sell tickets to rich tourists. they're gentrifying the jungle! it all begs the question are you better off as a dog in this country (when a dog is hit by a car people stop and help, the dog gets a trip to the vet, and the bills are paid. when a human being is hit by a car, the driver keeps going, the victim is sent to emergency and they are handed a rather large bill for the service) while i dont' care much for the dog police in Sochi i have to think people are treated better, they have to be.

Next an extermination program for less desirable Europeans?  An 18 month old giraffe destroyed because the EU organization that supervises breeding concluded the giraffe was too close in DNA to the others of its species.  (Even though, allegedly there was an anonymous contributor willing to fork over 400M to save the animal.)  They horrifically suck.

Anything goes for lasagne.

I would make Giraffe Chips:

First peel 3 medium sized giraffes, keeping the sharp edge of the knife away from your fingers. If you are under 12, please have an adult present. Then, chop the giraffes up into long, thin, chip shaped pieces. Heat some oil in a chip pan until hot and immerse the giraffe pieces therein. Fry on a high heat for about 10 minutes until the giraffe pieces are golden brown and firm to the touch. Mmmm sounds lovely so far.

Take a medium sized plate and place the giraffe pieces (which should have now turned into chips) onto it. Sprinkle lightly with sea salt. Then, sautee a potato and pop it onto the plate next to the chips. Voila. Sautee giraffe chips and potato. Consume with a glass of Vimto.

When I first read another headline of this story, it sounded like they were going to release the giraffe into the lion’s area and let them exercise their natural hunting and killing instincts…..you know, kind of like the way Wall Street brokers, traders, and financial advisors deal with pension fund managers.

No, no, no.  It isn't the pension fund managers that get shot and fed to the lions.  (Those guys/gals already have their 2nd, 3rd, 4th houses in Bermuda.)  It's the pension funds themselves and hence the old people relying on said funds to survive post 70.  Isn't it some African culture which sets the real old guys out under a tree and gives them a bow and quiver of arrows to fend off the hyienas as long as possible?  I had a nightmare of Nancy Pelosi grinning at me with a quiver of arrows in her right hand saying, 'you can keep your doc.'
