I had fun with the wife today. In amongst the fucking around with phones today we wandered by a Scheels sporting goods store. Much like a moth to light I could not resist. Woman asked why we were going in and I said we had to look at some guns. Woman stated that Scheels does not have guns. What? Within a few minutes I had a Barett 50 cal rifle in my hands. Here you go Russian woman and I handed it to her. I think they weigh 20 lbs!LOL The 50 is the last piece I want to add to my collection. Russian was dumbfounded. She asked, "What kind of license do you need to buy this?. This is called anti-tank weapon in Russia."
NO LICENSE AT ALL! It was $4K and I could find a better deal somewhere else and besides I want the semi-auto version anyway. She just stood there in shock and said "You Americans are such rednecks". And I said "I don't see any Russian "shock troops" around here spouting off any bullshit and did you not notice what is in my office?" The 50 would be the icing. She understood it and I think SHE wants that gun. I know she does. She is not a dumb broad. How can't anyone like those Baretts? She walked away dumbfounded.:-)

Yemen: At Least 3 Killed by U.S. Drone Strike
.
A U.S. drone strike has reportedly killed at least three people in Yemen’s Marib province near the town of Shebwan. Tribal sources said a drone hit the vehicle of a suspected al-Qaeda fighter, killing him and two other occupants. Two civilians tending sheep nearby were reportedly wounded. Reuters reported there was a second drone strike in Yemen, saying at least four people had been killed in the two strikes. Last week, the European Parliament voted overwhelmingly to condemn the drone strikes, passing a resolution that calls for member states to ban extrajudicial killings. The vote was 534 to 49.

Putin is really sly bastard when you think about it. He lets the Ukraine run up the gas bill by 1.5B then threatens to shut off the gas to the Ukraine over it which in turn shuts off the gas to the rest of the EU in the process because the Ukrainians can't pay the bill and shutting it off to the Ukraine means everyone downstream by default gets cut off also. Not only that bet you that aid package the IMF is sending to the Ukraine 1.5B of it will be used to settle that bill to keep the gas flowing so he not only gets payment for the Ukraine but EU with the IMF footing the bill for the Ukraine in the process who can't pay otherwise. Not only that it is a public relations nightmare having to explicitly support a Neo Nazi regime in the Ukraine at the same time and are trying their damndest to keep the rubes in the dark about who is really running the show over there. If the rubes knew they would never support any of this. Especially in Europe.
