In my country it was an uprising in 1989. People died, some of them being shot. But I can tell you this: snipers getting caught were treated the same way flamethrower operators were treated in the WW2.

You are right. They are psychopaths for sure. My comment was one of horror. I cannot imagine that somebody kills not for protecting him or herself and loved ones but for money or political gain. A progressive sniper?
Watching the 45 minute video on liveleak it seemed a bit strange the targeting that occurred. The sniper had a wide range of targets to choose from but seemed to concentrate efforts on a small number of individuals that had placed themselves in what appearred to be a position facing the regime stronghold behind solid barriers. The cameraman seemed to be too well placed to catch all the action even when there was a lull in the firing. Only at the end does the camera pan elsewhere. Still not evidemce of staging but struck me strange as if it was staged.
There are thoughts which are acceptable and thoughts which are rejectable, because they challenge our desired trust. Who benefited and who was harmed are questions which are ignored, replaced with who do we want to blame.

I have had many such a friend, as these men, they're almost always family men, and they put a high priority on their lives, and they love their wife and children.
IMHO the majority of NavySeal's, when they retire at say 37+ years plus, with their gold-plated pension, they spend the rest of their lives fishing and watching the grand-children. In peaceful bliss, and a little time at the gun range keeping it sharp. Most them will never allow their son's to become 'seals' for the simple reason they don't want to see their son's die.

You're barking up the wrong tree Alananda. I know GW pretty well, having conducted extensive private communications with GW over a rather long period of time. He is a well educated professional quite similar to you who conducts extensive research before discussing a subject.
I would say either GW has not come across this subject as of yet, or more likely, he hasn't found enough independent sources to confirm in his mind that it is something he should discuss. His mind is trained to discern patterns and discrepancies and that is what he focuses on. When he examines different sources he looks for similarities which might indicate that the independent sources may actually be sourcing from the same place.
GW is often speaking to those who are not quite at the level of the average ZH'er. Thus he must maintain as much credibility as he can muster while speaking on subjects the vast majority of investigative reporters wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole.
May I suggest you back off a bit and actually help the discussion along rather than question the author's veracity. Like you, GW has a methodical and careful mind. He extensively footnotes his work. He is totally professional. Provide him with sources pointing towards the validity of your comment rather than asking him why he doesn't talk about it.

Unless your a trained sniper, you wouldn't know the drill, but in reality a SNIPER is 90% "OBSERVATION", and 10% shooting and holding a gun. Usually snipers work in 2-man teams and take turn's on the gun, while the other uses BINO's for wide vision, and the sniper uses his monocular on the GUN for close-ups. 99.9% of the time, snipers are sent out to collect INTEL.
It's pretty boring in actuality, and would drive most guys nuts, in real observation your trained to not even blink for 20minutes or more, you might be a rest for an hour, and a target pops up 1/4 second and you have to take your shot, if you miss, your OUT. The target may or may not be good/bad, you shoot a good guy your OUT.

Actually that's an interesting point, when I was in sniper school that was one of our field trips, was that we were taken to the Daly Plaza, and were told to develop our own shooting plan.
Everybody that goes there end's up with the same plan, 3 teams, at 120 degrees, coordinated shooting.

I often appreciate your efforts to enlighten us on the things that are done in our names or just to us, this isn't at the top of the list. Part of that is my pessimism. You can take partial credit for that. Now where did that blue pill go?
What I want to see is not allegations. It is more honest to say people were shot and we don't know who did it. There is video footage of men in police uniforms shooting AKs at targets off screen. There is video of protesters shooting pistols and pellet guns at police. This suggests the snipers were police.
One would think an intelligence agency capable of nabbing and releasing many damaging conversations could at least produce evidence that someone besides the police killed those people, in order to justify the invasion. They had plenty of time and ease of access to prepare and carry out such observation. They seem to have been disinclined or incapable. I don't expect you will find such evidence either. Based on the available physical evidence, most likely it was the police who shot the protesters. Who here doesn't like physical?
