NATO Members Conduct False Flag Terror In Attempt to Whip Up War

George Washington's picture

Pulitzer-prize winning investigative reporter Seymour Hersh (who uncovered the Iraq prison torture scandal and the Mai Lai massacre in Vietnam) says that high-level American sources tell him that the Turkish government carried out the chemical weapons attacks blamed on the Syrian government.

Indeed, it’s long been known that sarin was coming through Turkey.

Turkey is a member of NATO. So we’re really talking about a NATO member launching a false flag attack against a non-NATO member, and then blaming it on the victim.

Indeed, a new tape recording of top Turkish officials planning a false flag attack to be blamed on Syria as a causus belli was just leaked a couple of weeks ago, and confirmed by Turkey as being authentic.

In other words, since the last big Turkish false flag didn’t succeed in launching war against Syria, they’re going to try again.

This is not the first false flag by NATO members. For example:

  • Quebec police admitted that, in 2007, thugs carrying rocks to a peaceful protest were actually undercover Quebec police officers (and see this)
  • At the G20 protests in London in 2009, a British member of parliament saw plain clothes police officers attempting to incite the crowd to violence

Postscript: We're not picking on NATO members …the Nazis, Soviets, Algerians, Indonesians, Israelis and others have used false flag terror as well.

Sunni are just neocons of a different religion.    I think our intelligence services and government wouldn't mind a Baathist renewal of the ottoman empire.  It is easier dealing with one big like minded organization than to have a bunch of tiny countries always stirring up trouble.

I do think neocons and their progressive twins see sunni Baathists as potential allies...

But now Syria is one big clusterfuck. And we have now ended up by default helping Shia?

So when the American Spring starts we should expect lots of day care and elementary school bombings blamed on revolutionaries.

The sarin gas was sent to Syrian al-quaeda rebels with help from Turkish military, and then the U-S then blamed the sarin gas on the Syrian Government of Assad.   Obama then attempted to involve the US in the Syrian civil war.   US Senator Richard Lugar ran the operation.   This story by reporters who traced the gas.

"Journalists Jeffrey Silverman and Lika Moshiashvili are credited with having discovered the secret and illegal operations taking place in the US-controlled Central Reference Laboratory (CPHRL) in the Tbilisi suburb of the Alekseevka Settlement.  A team of investigators has determined that chemical weapons were supplied from this region, which is under US control. They followed the trail of these chemical weapons to the Georgian Republic. Turkish Army subdivisions transported them to Al-Qaeda terrorists operating in Syrian territory.

This kind of information does not surprise me, but rather, it confirms the ways that we appear to be able to discover more of the probably correct facts about false flag attacks faster than ever!

Guys like George Washington can do the research work, and then present that publicly faster than ever, while there is a larger than ever audience that is already mentally prepared to be able to understand those facts. One of the basic transformations in politics has been the increasing number of people who already understand the meaning of the phrase "false flag attack," and therefore, are more prepared to pounce on the analysis of another one.

I, an American citizen, have not  condoned, endorsed, or authorized my representatives to engage in ANY activities in any country. I do hope and pray that you consider that when you dial in your launch codes.

Furthermore, I believe our country has been taken over, from inside, and is engaging in activites that, at worst, are suicidal, or more likely, intensely stupid. At the very least there is a beaurocratic momentum of actions and programs initiated over which there is no sane administration.

In my heart I know that, were it possible, our government should cease and desist, stand down, absolutely without exception all actions.

Our bases should be closed, defense budget cut, staffs departments and administrations fired, including NSA, FED, CIA, DOD, Department of State, Homeland Security. Our government has turned against its constitution.

The question that still needs answering is "Why?".

I understand Turkey's motivation here.  Islamist Erdogan would love nothing better than to see the USA topple Assad and help install yet another Islamic "democratic" (what a joke) regime in the region.

And I can understand the US military-congressional-industrial complex's need to fill up the War-vacuum left my the wind-down in Iraq and Afghanistan...any conflict that wastes US taxpayer money on arms and equipment and deployment operations will do for their purposes, no doubt.

But, at the risk of sounding naive, what the fuck is in our US interest in helping these ape-men Islamists?? What possible justification on a geo-strategic level exists for directly or indirectly aiding Islamo-fascists?  The USA policy seems to keep doing this so it is hard for me to imagine the folks in the US State Department (hello Hillary!) as anything other than nit-wits or morons blinded by the trees that they cannot see the forest...

...or, alternatively, that they are so deeply corrupted by the financial interests of conflict, any conflict, that they cannot see how this is harming world peace and stability and long term US interests?

While I find Assad a despicable character, I'll take him any day of the week over any Religious Zealot and the baggage of hypocrisy that religion ALWAYS brings.

I cry BULLSHIT!

Yes, Nuland and the US have an interest in toppling any pro-Russian leader.  That is obvious.

But the Ukrainian people have convergent interests here.  Ukraine wants to be their own country.  Why does your own analysis not recognize this?  They will take aid from the USA or anyone else willing to give it.  That is not a conspiracy.  That is just mutual interest.

BTW: Have you every run into a group of chauvinist Russians on the streets of Eastern Europe?  Imagine how the locals feel about these thugs in their midst?!  The Russians have a general reputation for underhanded trades and thievery.  Locals do not trust them or like them.

And while I'm on it, what kind of President would advocate the invasion of his own country by a hostile neighbor?  Answer: Victor Yanucovych.  MaN, HOW DO YOU IGNORE THESE FACTS???

Would you vote for Yanucovych now if YOU were a Ukrainian???

JR's picture

The elected government of Ukraine was trying to make decisions to improve the Ukrainian economy so that it could be strong and independent. It considered the European Union offers and Russia’s offers and judged the Russian assistance to be in the best interests of a stronger Ukraine.

That was too much for the European bankers and they released the leash that held the radicals who didn’t have the votes to govern but had the guns.

As for the generalization that “the Russians have a general reputation for underhanded trades and thievery in Ukraine,” no wonder the Russian people want out of there.

And as for “Saint Yulia calls seizing of government buildings a power grab” in eastern Ukraine -- as crazzziecanuck asked two days ago, “ Where was she a month ago?”

And answered: “Oh, wait she was in jail for corruption...”

novictim's picture

"...elected government of Ukraine was trying to make decisions to improve the Ukrainian economy..." and so the Yanucovych family and friends embezzled $Billions from the Ukrainian people...so that they could "improve the economy".

Well, of course that makes sense.

And they sent in the Russian military to "improve the economy".  And they took the Crimea in order to "improve the economy.  And they raised gas prices by 81% in order to improve the economy.

It's really all quite patriotic of Victor Yanucovych.  What a guy.

And regarding the on-the-street sentiment about Russians...this is widely held through out Europe, from the Baltic to Ukraine to Great Britain, where people have had dealings with them.

I might note this steriotyping also extends to the East Coast of the USA too.  Is there truth to it?  Well, I got a good deal on ownership of the Brooklyn Bridge so I'm not complaining.

---

Yulia Tymoshenko is a red herring.  Only you are referring to her.  Her rhetoric is widely seen in Ukraine to be past its "sell by date".  She is felt to be cut from the same cloth as Yanucovych and likely will play no major role in the future other than being symbolic as a cautionary tale in political abuse by the former regime.

JR's picture

Yes, I see it is the mobster-driven illegal government in Kiev making the charge and allegedly searching for the “missing billions,” duly supported in its charge no doubt by John McCain Co., namely the IMF, Neocon, European/Fed central bankers, NATO, CIA and Western Ukrainian mobsters. And Switzerland it is said is ready to freeze any funds that Yanukovych might be keeping in its banks.

What fool would keep money these days in one of Switzerland’s banks?

But it does appear that Ukraine’s Gold Reserves may secretly have been flown out by the new regime and confiscated by the New York Federal Reserve.

Prof Michel Chossudovsky writes on Global Research that “a Russian Internet news site Iskra (“Spark”) based in Zaporozhye, eastern Ukraine,  reported on March 7, that 'Ukraine’s gold reserves had been hastily airlifted to the United States from Borispol Airport east of Kiev.'"

However, of course, “This alleged airlift and confiscation of Ukraine’s gold reserves by the New York Federal Reserve has not been confirmed by the Western media.”

Writes Prof. Chossudovsky:”On March 10, kingworldnews, a prominent online financial blog site published an incisive interview with William Kaye, a Hong Kong based hedge fund manager at Pacific Group Ltd. who had previously worked for Goldman Sachs in mergers and acquisitions.  ‎

“Of significance in this interview with William Kaye is the analogy between Ukraine, Iraq and Libya. Lest we forget, both Iraq and Libya had their gold reserves confiscated by the US. According to Kaye, the destination was the New York Fed.

“The National Bank of Ukraine (Central Bank) estimated Ukraine’s gold reserves in February to be worth 1.8 billion dollars. According to William Kaye: ‘That would amount to a very nice down payment to the $5 billion that Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland boasted that the United States has already spent in their efforts to destabilize Ukraine, and put in place their own unelected  government.(KingsWorldNews  emphasis added). Kaye also confirmed in the interview that Washington was behind the appointment of the new head of the National  Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Stepan Kubiv:

‘This would have been his first major decision to transport that gold out of Ukraine to the United States. …Ukraine will … very likely never see that gold again.’ (Read Complete interview at KingsWorldNews, March 10, 2014, emphasis added)

“Acting prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk accused the Yanukovych government of having stolen Ukraine’s gold reserves.  This statement was made on February 27th, less than a week prior to the report on the alleged airlifting of Ukraine’s gold to the New York Federal Reserve, which is yet to be confirmed.”

http://www.globalresearch.ca/ukraines-gold-reserves-secretely-flown-out-and-confiscated-by-the-new-york-federal-reserve/5373446

It has been said that that the “US demonizes Muslims to steal their oil and to protect Israel." Perhaps the US banker-media also believes demonization would work against the Russians as well.

As for the character of the Russian people, perhaps we should ask Snowden.

No one is saying that Yanucovych is a copy of William Penn but to season your understanding of the two Kiev governments, a little less CNN and the tour of the presidential palaces and a little more Internet news (including ZH and RT) would give better perspective.

novictim's picture

Did you consider all that blather and nonsense about the "stolen gold!" relevant?  Was that hack rambling of yours compelling to you?

Regarding Snowden, huh?  Are you even capable of making a coherent argument?  Even your comment about somparing the kleptocrat Yanucovyvh to William Penn is bizarre...the comparison is to Benedict Arnold if you want to go there.

Western Europe has legitimate interests in Ukraine. Certainly Russia does not...nor has Russia stated with any even nominally non-ridiculous reasons...why they are doing what they are doing.

Redrawing the borders of Eastern Europe simply aren't to be done. Ignoring the History as to why this is to really put you in a league of people who are some real nut jobs.

Still I do agree...the President must give the order.

If he doesn't lead here...and so far he seems the policy of the Secretary of State has not been confirmed by the President...then I is what it is.

I know of no plans to speak to the historical imperative that all sides agree on...including Russia...that Ukraine must remain a unitary State.

False flag or otherwise this could become a very dangerous situation.

World War I began quite gradually...not like the US Civil War which happened almost overnight.

the problem with gradual build ups such as this is that war can become an inevitability as the resources used to defend the legitamate and very real interests suddenly must be acted upon.

Right now a combined US/NATO build up in central and Eastern Ukraine would be tough for Russia to match. The question therefore should be not "they started it mom" but "haven't built this force then what?"

I think that would be a better vein to mine rhetorically at this point in "the waltz."

novictim's picture

I agree that NATO and the Western alliance have an interest and obligation in stopping further military action by Putin and reversing the current occupation of Crimea...and I suspect that Putin is that old style type of psychopath who can't stop at half measures anyway.  Putin might just go for the "glory" by invading the rest of Ukraine.

And then the Baltics.

That shit-fuck feckless Obama has already failed us all by not pledging military support for Ukraine and pointing to the responsibility of Britain and the USA as signators of the Budapest Memorandum.

It's "Peace in our Time" all over again.

Global Observer's picture

Whether you can comprehend Russia has legitimate interests in Ukraine or not is beside the point. Russia has already made its stand clear. Ukraine should be a federated state which stays away from any bloc if it should remain united.

If you think a military confrontation between Russia and NATO over Ukraine or any other for that matter is going to be restricted to conventional weapons, you are mistaken. The moment NATO attacks, the war will turn nuclear. Unless Western Europeans are seeking to be annihilated, they won't even dream of attacking Russia. If the US proposes attacking Russia, there won't be a NATO.

@disabledvet - You state: "Western Europe has legitimate interests in Ukraine. Certainly Russia does not...nor has Russia stated with any even nominally non-ridiculous reasons...why they are doing what they are doing." Is it your intellegence that is disabled? What country has the longest border with the Ukraine? I will give you a hint, the country is not a Western European NATO member. By your logic the U.S. has no strategic interest in Mexico but Honduras does. WTF?!

Then you state the the President should lead here. I am assuming you are talking about our puppet leader the great O Bullshit. So far he has proven very ineffective at starting World War III. Thank God for that. Let's hope that he continues to bumble in this regard. Better yet, let's hope our whole government is flushed from top to bottom soon and all of these greedy warmongers are banished to Gitmo for some waterboarding execises.
