The Revolution is in Fact Being Televised
Just in case you are missing what's going on in the rugged southern desert lands in Clark County, republic of Nevada...I'm not saying the next American revolution is unfolding before our eyes there, but what I did see for the first time in memory was the people drawing a line in the sand standing up against armed lunatics from the Federal corporatocracy, and not only holding their ground against the corporate goons but forcing their retreat.
This is almost unprecedented in this day and age. With all the rights that the imperious servant class in D.C. deigns to strip from their masters, and their cronies they've dispersed throughout the country to enforce their petty tyrancies, and after watching for too long now a painful progression of police abuse videos that have become all too common on the youtubes (some of them even technically being "snuff" films), to see the people actually redeeming themselves using the power and authority granted to them by the creator brought a tear to Chumba's eye.
This sordid episode naturally conjures up memories of Waco and Ruby Ridge (I implore my younger brothers and sisters to stop right here, follow those two previous links, and give those two horror stories at least a cursory reading, because history does not repeat, it rhymes, and how it does depends on who and what we are here and now, and to know who you are now you must know how you got here, because you're writing the next verse). Those stories, while very different, end the same: a bunch of fanatical thugs acting under color of law kill pregnant women, children, and other innocents; the murderers, sanctioned killers of the corporate cleptocracy, go unpunished (after all, they were just doing their job); the policymakers and their faithful sycophants cover it up with televised hearings that are merely pomp & circumstance preceding the preordained conclusion, already written, sealed, and ready for release upon the conclusion of the introductory theatrics.
But this time...I don't know. Did you see what happened in that video? Ammon Bundy, son of rancher Cliven Bundy, kicked away their attack dogs and ripped the wires of a taser out of his chest not once, not twice, but thrice, and kept coming back to confront the agents at his line in the sand, the soil that is his birthright, the soil where he was born and raised, and not the soil of the foreign thugs that contemptuously defiled it and came as usurpers and aggressors. Call these simple folk what you will, but that's good country upbringing. In that moment, if you were paying attention, that man reminded the rest of us the true meaning of courage and liberty. This is how it goes down, people. Through time immemorial, it is the man or woman who did not retreat, who did not relent, who kept coming back and tauntingly asking the aggressors, "THANK YOU, SIR, MAY I HAVE ANOTHER?" These are the pivot points in history, as we turn from tyranny and head towards Liberty, with a brief stop at Revolution.
Assuming this continues, and the degenerates from D.C. and their private thugs escalate their siege on the Bundy homestead to (as they will likely put it) "send a message of law and order", militia members (Americans) from across the country will be converging on that spot of god's creation to defend Clive Bundy and his family and property and rights. They (Americans) will of course be demonized. Already, one of the commissioners of Clark County has allegedly told the arriving militiamen (Americans) they "better have funeral plans". Please do not be informed by the scorn and ridicule that will be heaped upon these American men (and women) by the corporate media. Just know this: if it was you being besieged, they would come to your aid, too. Because they know: we either hang together, or separately.
If you take the time to get deeper into this story, as with everything today, you start to find out it has little to do with cattle and grazing and tortoises and everything to do with filthy lucre. Because it's always about filthy lucre. That's all these psychopaths know. It seems it has a lot to do with fracking leases that are raking in $$$ for the BLM, and--surprise bitches!--the honorable Senator Harry Reid and other of his fellow psychopaths is elbow deep in this shitpile.
I am not saying, "this is it", because It is what has been happening for a long time now. But what we see in the video above is the kind of episode that is going to increasingly happen across the nation, first in disparate pockets, and then seemingly everywhere, until we as a people finally arrive at the crossroads, where decisions have to be made. How will you decide? Of course, you can't know until you've been presented with the proposition, but just know that you will have to make a call, or one will be made for you. You will bear that cross. I've spent 8 nights in jail across 3 separate incidents within 3 years, all for a bunch of petty bullshit. I could have just given the cop my name, or my I.D., and let them take my car and avoided the whole mess, but like my brother Ammon, I drew my line: I established my sovereign boundaries and I am going to defend them.
Yes, everyone is going to bear their cross in this lifetime, and I believe it's better to choose the cross you're going to bear. When the time comes (and it shall), and it's your turn to bear your cross, don't worry about being inconvenienced, and don't be afraid. The story always ends well if you have the right perspective.
Please keep your eyes on this story. And please pray for Cliven and his family and neighbors, and for the thugs that are besieging them.

If he got arrested and his camera confiscated, what purpose would that have served? Would they have been able to get that footage out to the world?
Sometimes you advance, sometimes you retreat, but whatever you do its to attain the objective.
That guy did a terrific job amidst a very stressful situation. He kept a cool head, recorded some historic video, and kept his friends & family safe. I'll pick that guy for my team anyday.
Also, keep in mind that not all of those Federalis necessarily have the thug mentality. Each of those guys was an individual. Cameraman was showing the reasonable ones that his people were reasonable too. It was defusing of an extremely hostile and volatile situation, which again are traits you want people on your team to have.

I saw several actionable rights violations in that video. They had no authority to put their hands on the aunt and throw her down to the ground, let alone the proper upbringing to know you don't do that to a woman. That was assault and battery. There is no authority for a federal officer to commit assault and battery. Whoever did that did it of their own volition and bear personal liability.
There's a reason these public servants have bloated salaries and benefits: so we, the people, who have been wronged by them can make claims against them in their personal capacity for violating their oath of office and committing misfeasance, malfeasance, and nonfeasance of their fiduciary duty. These fuckers are also bonded. Go after the bond.

APD has paid out $24 million during the past few years. That sounds like chump change compared to the Fed and QE, but it's really kind of a big deal for Albuquerque. If anything changes APD, it will likely be pressure from the DOJ (I won't hold my breath,) and the near-riot that we just had. I know that what is coming is going to be ugly as fuck, but I don't see a way around it. Most people simply aren't knowledgeable enough about the law to really use it as a weapon.
The U.C.C. is yer friend if you know how to use it.

Look, those people were righteous. They held their ground. They were being looked over that day because it's a miracle there were only light injuries. Who knows how this would have turned out if those were deputies or some city PD in a similar standoff. Those forces are staffed with under-trained pups who grew up on Call of Duty and bullshit movies where the good guy just shoots everything up to solve things (this is paraphrasing what an older deputy I had a chance to speak to a few weeks ago told me...I asked him why cops these days are so impatient and brutal to the people and he said it was the younger guys, and that the older deputies didn't even like them because they just create more paperwork and bullshit).
I am all for standing one's ground but you better either have a higher power watching your back or have superior training and fire power to these goons. They are paid to train for this kind of shit, and yeah, they may be basically average IQ (i.e. dumn as bricks, perfectly malleable and ideal at taking orders without question) but they know how to maim and kill and are at least good at that. And these days, if you don't submit, rather than question why the fuck this person in front of them is so angry (and yeah, I know, some people are just bat-shit crazy, but still, isn't this what cops are trained for? to know the difference between angry and bat-shit crazy?) their training tells them "this person is resisting arrest" and to subdue them with "appropriate" force, and then the video ends up on YouTube and Chumba gets further incensed.
I'm tired of seeing that. I wish people would understand cops are just trained psychopaths these days and just treat them as such. Just do what they ask calmly while documenting everything on video or audio. Trust me, I've been there. I just got a cop to testify under oath on the stand in open court that he in fact did not have any foundation for arresting me for "resisting arrest" because I did not in fact resist and was "cooperative" and "compliant". So, you see, your cooperation is only in assisting them in violating your rights, so that it goes as pleasantly as possible for both of you, and then when you sue the cop and win, they won't really begrudge you because, hey, you were such a nice guy. And you know what? You were right ;)

Fortunately, only a first wave was needed this time. A second and third and fourth were lining up, of which you may have had a chance to join. There might be more of these kinds of incidents as we speed towards something possibly happening after passover to cause a country wide Bundy Ranch. Let us give thanks that there is a victory to embrace for now, and then stand vigilant watching in night vision and by day to see what the next moves are going to be. There is a video of the Veterans/OathKeepers at the gate of the South Lawn of 1600. This was during the "sequester" when they blocked off the Mall and denied surviving WWII vets a long--planned trip to the new WWII memorial.
About 100 or 200 vets were stadning there with a stack of liberated barricades when a platoon of federal cops literally marched in as a show of force.
One of the video angles caught close ups of a Hispanic male federale and two skinny White females. The vets were furious. A fight was almost a foregone conclusion and I thought the vets would literally rip the FLEAs limb-from-limb, then pull out their guts and shove it down what used to be their throats.
The FLEAs looked like their respectvie lives were flashing before their eyes, asking themselves "What the fuck is this? I signed up to get money for college!"
At one point, a bunch of DC metro cops cars come by with lights flashing and siren "blooping". Everyone thought they would join the federales. No - they thumbed up the vets.
The guy in charge of the FLEA platoon spoke with a guy who looked like an active duty officer in cammies.
A few seconds later ... they formed up and marched away in formation.
These MFers are trying to psyche us out. One at a time they can faceplant gramdmothers into the pavement and kill old men in their nursing homes with 12ga bean-bag rounds to the gut at point blank range.

I am not advocating anything but the right of the people to defend their rights and those of their family, friends and fellow countrymen. The rights we have all had antecedent to any earthly government.
Sometimes there's just going to be violence, but it is my firm belief that people should be above everything arming themselves with knowledge of the law and contracts (but then, I repeat myself, as law is contract). That is always your best offensive weapon.
