What we saw in Nevada may happen all across America starting in California when the chinese come next year to claim it all after the crash. Unless Chinese are investors in a project that is built with Chinese solar panels, and then a majority Chinese energy firm is selling the power to Vegas. Almost no money is made for Americans in this venture other than Reid who is brokering the deal. If that were the case, his ass belongs in jail for good. Not surprising the Feds backed down then. Reid doesn't want the attention.
There are some huge solar projects in Utah already. Might be worth looking at closer to identify who brokered the deals there.

According to Reuters, the County Commission voted to sell ENN the public plot of land for $4.5 million, a fraction of its appraised value of $38.6 million.
Majority Leader Sen. Harry Reid has been one of ENN's most prominent supporters. According to Reuters, he recruited the company for the project during a trip to China in 2011. Reuters also reports that Reid has tried to pressure the state's largest power company, NV Energy, to become ENN's first customer.
Sen. Reid has had other links to dubious power projects, including Amonix, a company with no record of success that received huge tax breaks then collapsed. There was also Nevada Geothermal, which received $98 million in federal loan guarantees but in a recent filing with the SEC revealed that it is undergoing substantial problems that threaten its ability to continue as a company.

Reid is in his last term as Senator. He knows that and embraces that. Much like a lame duck president that was just reelected, Reid is letting it all hang out. This is Harry Reid. Its what he's all about, and he no longer cares what anyone thinks. He would like to serve out his term as the Senator majority leader and knows his time may be short. He has next to nothing positive to show for his time in leadership and is desperate to fight a dirty campaign in his bid to hold onto power. The recent cronyism surrounding him is just the tip of the iceberg. He's quickly lining the pockets of his family while he can much as he did for his own pockets over the last couple of decades. Nothing says more than Harry Reid had a negative net worth when first entering the Senate, and today he's a multi-millionaire.
