i dunno...it isn't for me a heads or tails kinda thing. i believe i recognize the obvious and superior qualities of a putin vs. an obama; but i'm trying to look past all of that -- and with all i've done here on the Hedge i've in every way attempted to hint beyond the good vs. evil of demorepublicanism, even beyond a greater and elevated evil/good dialectic, way past statism/anarchy, far apart from all familiar forms of deity -- again, i dunno...it's equally as difficult to ascertain as it is to describe.

the good thing is that it feels right and sounds right. as Scripture says, "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." and, even though janus'd never pretend to speak for God, i reckon He'd have some sore feelings if'n He ever visited this grand land. i doubt He'd like any of it. whether or not He does or does not approve of what's in amorica happening, i've come to the place where i cannot worship any god that supports this madness.

imagine, if you will, all the ways in which human beings are not supposed to live; and then, if it's possible, exaggerate all of those terrifying visions of yours, and see if you can come up with anything worse than our present circumstance. i doubt that any of you can.

we, every single one of us, are latched onto a hell more complete and composite than anything Orwell or h.g. wells could've possibly conjured. and you think, just because we haven't our spiro-copters or that proper nouns like "Oceanian" are not used, that we are not in some similar but far more sinister fashion enslaved. it's everywhere and at all levels, bitchez; and just because you (and, yes, even janus) suck on its teet, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

at some level, we must, all of us, ask ourselves whether its presence is parasitic or munificent...i've come to my conclusion. most of you keep asking the same questions that demand answers others have already given, for problems of pasts gone by, crafted with people and societies in mind that live no more, all of which about as useful as the molded paper they're printed on.

it's funny to janus that most of you only recognize a conman if his con is discovered contra temps...a conman is, for most, a most honorable man so long as his con is intact. bernie madoff was a name worth knowing...till it twernt'. and yet, you're gettin yourselves all lathered up for another voterama. yessiree! you're gonna all pump some juice into democracy in 2014...and then you'll REALLY lettem have it in 2016 -- won't you?

no you won't. and so there's a choice: it isn't left/right, demo/repub, fascist/communist...it's humanity vs. slavery. all of this has to be demolished. of course there will be a 'bad' spell. better that than a wicked eternity. and, frankly, i will no longer allow the fears of my fellows constrain my opinions. it's total revolution or nothing...or both.

in all truth, it isn't really a matter of yours, mine or any's consent; what's coming is inevitable -- the only choice consists in whether or not you get with it. actually, in certain circumstances, that won't even matter...so many ills and irreconcilable tensions are about to heal and spill their results on the globe. there are some seven billion (yes, with a B) persons drawing breath on this earth and its capacity for stability has been stretched too taught. entropy has set in; the machine is crashing in upon itself...the center cannot hold.

and, lo, the elder generations from us demand solutions; as if they ever had any, as if there ever were any...as if the notion of 'solution' ever stood any chance against inevitability. houses built on sand collapse in storms...you cannot reset the foundations, nor were they ever fixed to begin with. it was, and will as long as it remains, remain a summer home. america was nice while it lasted; and it's still great to be an american.

it is for all these reasons and more that i fully intend on taking advantage of my americanism whilst it still means something. i intend to pollute the better part of this fair earth with my presence and to offer as solution to all the world's ills my noxious existence. janus intends to remain and at some point prevail. that's the best i or my generation can offer the world at present. we wish all the rest of you the very best; but do not feel obliged to you in the very least. godspeed.

Banzai, I'd like to see some "gas negotiation art" between Russia and China, perhaps showing the negotiations of the Chinese standing in front of their $600B a year dollar trade surplus pile saying "yes, we'd like to buy all our gas and oil in dollars please".
