White House Launches Propaganda At TROLL Level

George Washington's picture

Russian writer idaltae tweeted the following:

Because she didn’t say what search term she used to pull up that ad – and because we don’t live in Russia – it took some legwork to verify that this is real.

Specifically, we used Keyword Spy – a highly-regarded and widely-used resource in the SEO industry – to see if the White House had purchased keywords for Google using the domain name WhiteHouse.gov.

Indeed, we did find the ad using Keyword Spy:

Keyword Spy also told us the keywords which the White House purchased:

Telenor is a huge telecommunications company based in Norway, which provides telecom services in Eastern Europe, and has had a series of legal disputes regarding its sizable ownership stake in Russian and Ukrainian telecoms.

In other words, Telenor Russia is probably a popular Google search term in Russia and Ukraine.  And the White House has purchased Google key words to troll Putin.

Propaganda much?

No fraud can survive the internet hivemind.  Put the gold back in the vaults.  Stop overthrowing countries.  Stop giving money and weapons to Islamic fundamentalists, Mexican Drug Cartels, and Nazis.  Everyone knows what is happening.  10% of the internet is more intelligent and motivated than 90% of your staff.

No fraud can survive the internet hivemind.
_____________________________________

And? One fraud 'americans' would like to perpetuate: 'americans' do not know how 'americanism' works.

'Americanism' thrives on frauds. Since the very beginning. When 'americans' proclaimed their natural rights theory as to be the norm for humanity, people knew it was a fraud: while stating human beings had right to freedom, 'americans' kept slaves, while stating human beings had right to property, 'americans' stole land from the Indians.

People knew.

'Americans' always behave the same: they present a big, thick lie, blatant to see and then, they get people to pick their side. Either with them or against them. Accepting the big, thick lie is a sign of submission and allegiance to the 'american' side.

So no fraud can survive the internet hivemind? So what? Not only it changes nothing in 'american' terms, but it is welcome.

Because it is the way 'americansim' works.

Not always.  And not Americans.  American politicians, quite probably, sometimes misguided, sometimes intentional.  Used to be it was in attempts to keep WWIII from happening.  Now, it appeas to be a greed-fest, but one is never sure.  Those within the 'machine' are not all bad guys, but often get swept up in the dust of the thrust.

U.S./Fed monetary and military support to the Neocons, the Israelis, and the French also has resulted in further destabilization of the world’s energy supply.

On Sunday Chris Martenson posted an interview with economist Steen Jakobsen, Chief Investment Officer of Saxo, entitled  Steen Jakobsen: Expect A 30% Stock Market Correction in 2014: Presaging economic lows in Q1/Q2 2015.

In that interview, Jakobsen not only gives his optimistic predictions on the positive changes we can expect in economic growth triggered by the system failing (not systemic failure) “in a world that cannot restart itself” but he also expands on the high energy costs we can expect in large part because of misplayed energy policy by  politicians and policymakers, including the destabilization of Libya, Iran and now Ukrainian relations with Russia.

Excerpt:

Chris Martenson: …I’ve been following very carefully what’s been happening in Ukraine particularly because of the large geopolitical wedge that seems to have been driven between Russia and the West, and seeing China right there with open arms. To me the landmark deal was that gas deal where essentially 20 percent of all Russian exports of gas are now going to redirect to China starting in 2018… And so is there any concern at all anywhere on the European continent, particularly on the monetary side…is there any concern over supplies, not just costs, but supplies of the needed gas to run the economy?

Steen Jakobsen: One of the bigger infrastructure projects in EU right now is a rechanneling of the natural gas pipelines in Europe due to the fact that we’ve became over dependent on Russia. So you know, we have a lot of natural gas in the North Sea as well from Statoil and Norway. So they’re rerouting and spent a huge amount, I think if I’m not wrong, like 500 billion dollars or something in total developing infrastructure on this, which is behind the scene and not really done so. But the short answer is no, Chris. I don’t think anyone knows where to turn  because, as much as you and I and everybody else want alternative energy to become more of a force, we still have this storage issue in terms of energy, which I think we will deal with right now or in the next ten years, certainly as we need to do it. But the Russian deal is very, very significant. The way Iran today also sort of bypassed the international markets for its products, I mean a lot of the crude in the world today is actually bypassing the international markets, which means that more and more money, more and more energy resources is given up and not coming to the world market and asking. First of all, that is a concern for the market to sell, but it is also a concern for you and me in terms of what will happen to energy prices.

“And you know, I have friends that argue that the European monetary crisis, the debt crisis, actually started from the fact that we have deficiency in energy. So the energy cost actually killed Italy, Spain, Greece, and all these countries which at the start of this crisis, took most of their natural gas from Libya. So I think it will be a huge input to a potential downside in—and that could actually be what gets us into Japanization in Europe…”

Jakobsen also predicted that ten years from now, “less than 50 percent of the world’s population can have access to clean water.”

Obama poised to hit a key milestone on jobs

More than six years later, we’re just about back to the starting point.

If the employment numbers released Friday show an addition of 113,000 jobs or more in May, the U.S. economy will have finally regained all the jobs lost during the recession and begun to head toward new peaks.

In January 2008, total U.S employment peaked at 138,365,000. From there, it drifted down gradually for a few months, then began to plummet as the recession intensified, as the following chart shows.

Employment bottomed out in early 2010, with a total loss of about 8.7 million jobs. Those jobs disappeared in just two years, and it has since taken more than four years to get back near the prior peak. With economists predicting employers created about 215,00 jobs in May — more than enough to reach the new high — it will have taken 77 months, or roughly six and a half years, for the job market to recover from the recession.

President Obama and his fellow Democrats can clearly use some good economic news heading into this year’s midterm elections. Voters continue to say jobs and the economy are their biggest concerns. The unemployment rate, now 6.3%, has been falling steadily for nearly four years, yet many workers today have jobs that pay less than they used to earn. And a majority of Americans still feel the nation is on the wrong track, which could threaten Democrats’ control of the Senate in November and flip control of the entire Congress to Republicans.

RevRex, here's one for you.  In September 2008, both Sen. McCain and Sen. Obama promised, if elected, to appoint at Secretary of the Treasury one Timothy F. Geithner.

Now, does that make me a Socialist, or a Semite?

Tue, 06/03/2014 - 08:35 | 4819673 edotabin
edotabin's picture

RevRex, the simplest way to think about this is that we have had enough presidents, senators and congressmen from both parties over a long enough period of time to make it obvious that they are both absolute crap. Look at the state of this country. If one party were interested in doing the right thing, it would have balanced out a bit better. Instead, it's the same old trick: Each party rallies their supporters around a specific issue (or two) and then dumps everything else into the shitter. Then the next party does the same. If you view this progression on a term by term basis, as many obviously do, then shortsighted comments such as yours make more sense. Unfortunately, this is exactly the type of distraction the politicos are hoping for.

One may be "heads" and the other "tails" but they are still two sides of the same coin.

While it is highly probable that there are a good number more good and well intentioned Republicans the party is absolutely the same as the blues.  So yes, red is probably a better bet than a blue but in the end, the house always wins.
