Swiss Franc Safe Haven

Hello fellow intelectuals,
I've been getting more informed and more scared with each passing week of what's happening in the markets.
Our currency (RON) has been devaluing like crazy against everything and I'm looking for some opinions in securing what amounds to roughly 10k euros(my life's savings so far, i'm only 25) in RON against well, as much as possible.
I've been thinking about converting it into swiss francs at ING Bank Romania in case things go south for the us/eu to keep it liquid.
The problem I have with gold is I can't figure out where to stash it, and leaving it in banks just seems like going a long way just to shoot yourself in the foot.
Any comments will be appreciated, any advice will be appreciated even more.
