Fresh info from Ukraine

I am a new member of ZeroHedge. My wife is Ukrainian, we met there several years ago while I worked in Kiev, and still has her entire family there. Several members of her immediate family live in the Crimea, town of Shcholkine (https://www.google.com/maps/@45.3151844,35.825724,10z), and she is in constant contact with them through skype and telephone. An hour ago she was informed by her aunt that police and region representatives are going door to door and asking for "Passports" verification (their official Ukrainian gov issued ID). When the Ukrainian "Passport" is handed over to them for inspection, the officials are ripping them in half and instructing all to apply for new Russian Passports at the city offices. Everyone is afraid to open the doors to strangers... this started happening in their small town today.
