So much for travel sanctions on Russia

Words, words and words, - are not biting the Ruskies. The US/EU newly decided travel sanctions for Russian top brass seems not to have deterred Russian businessman and Putin advisor, Vladislav Surkov and his wife to visit Stockholm late last week. Not only did they just stay for some touristing but also showed their bliss of the occasion by posting pictures on Instagram, for friends (Vlad not least), family and foes (Barak and tha gang). No comments from the Swedish authorities have been heard yet. But probably soon will be something like - we have not yet been able to distribute the photos of those on the travel-ban-list yet, and besides, the couple have gone home already. He probably found out that he was not supposed to be in Stockholm and decided to go home. Anyway a question arises on what to do if someone not supposed to be somewhere actually is? Do you detain them and then after police interrogation deport them back home with police escort, like refugees? What is the protocol? But how does this happen and where else has and is it going to happen? Another question is - are these travel ban lists published in Russia. Do they know who is and who is not on these lists? Does the customs / immigrant officers know? Does anyone who might be able to do anything about it know what to do? Sanctions still are just words. Dr Dooom
