On a less than joyous day such as this, we all need a little cheering up. So here is John McAfee. Why? Just watch it.

What d'ja say!

Speak UP.

I didn't catch that the first time.

When do we get to see his bitches ?

Yes We Can. But Lets Not.'s picture

This guy deserves the Nobel Prize.  I mean, why not?

Global Hunter's picture

I hope its just a case that he flew too close to the sun and he burned his wings a bit.  Because I really want to like this dude.

Bunga Bunga's picture

So much for saving taxes by living abroad. Luckily he did not repeal US-citizenship.

Johnny G.'s picture

Mr. Prime Minister, what is your native language?  Your English writing is adequate, but not convincing.

Papasmurf's picture

He was more coherent than any commentator on CNBC.  The respit from the non-stop fiscal cliff informercial was very welcome.

I had to Google her.  She's "in-famous"

She looks aproachable.  No reason you don't have a shot.   Aim higher; she's kind of a beat-down Jennifer Aniston, and I'm old.  You could do better at Saphire.

Episode 15 of Locked Up Abroad: Belize/State-sponsored blackmail: The shocking story of an American Entrepreneur who was kidnapped and tortured by state troopers in order to blackmail him for 2 million dollars.

What McAfee is describing is a reality you are neglecting to accept. The inner-workings of crooked states, like the Belizian government, resemble mafia operations. In fact, crooked states are mafia organizations. In order to raise money, these states intimidate and blackmail individuals. And in some cases, like this one, it becomes personal. In addition, in order to have more authority, these states pass laws to legalize expropriations, increase taxation, increase "regulation" of the media, install monitoring systems on a national level, etc. Their secretaries of interior are the ones who order the crooked police and armed forces to capture targeted individuals. Then, district attorneys start false accusations, which the corrupt judges legitimize. It is not fun when you are the target of a crooked state. Of course, it's great if you are a member of the inner circle of a state's kingpin, because you would be on the receiving end of money and power. But watch out if you are not, because you may end up buried in an undescriptive grave.

The funny thing is that this nut case probably moved all his money to Belize to avoid US taxes.

I laughed, I cried. I did a bung hole fulla bath salts, and, who knew ? Technicolor burnout, baybee. Needanantivirus ? I'm your guy.

"let me be clear".

I thought he handled the interview pretty damned well. Fuck cnbc.........

JLee2027's picture

I see a lot of comments here indicating people were swayed by what the media said about Mcafee. All I saw in the interview was a guy who was happy to be home after surviving a dangerous and strange ordeal, not a crazed loon like CNBC treated him at first.

The media lies to create news and interest. Is this really a surprise to anyone?

Taffy Lewis's picture

I am a rare commenter here, but I knew that McAfee would be blasted here for his lifestyle and success.

Sometimes ZH reminds me of old auntie crybabies just like they go after Simon Black for being international.

So, basically, you stupid little pukes that have no choice and have to stay in the good old US of A, that's fine with me. But don't rag on me when I do something different. fuck all of you.

Didn't the MSM say he blew his own brains out with overdose levels of Ayahuasca and was now in fact a stark raving lunatic? There is a special place in hell for the political lackeys in the MSM.

hairball48's picture

This was "No Contest".  McAfee is a 1000 times smarter than those morons on CNBC....and it was glaringly obvious. Whatever the truth was/is, those idiots weren't going to discover it in that interview.

HomerToeclipper's picture

Yeah John, you're getting fucked with because you've fucked with other peoples minds. Sounds like Karma to me. Deal with it.

Fine line between being a Genius and crazy.

If he did commit the Murder he is probably smart enough to get away with it.

Waterfallsparkles's picture

I also agree with him that it is easy to make Money but very hard to keep it.

If you make too much Money like he did then everyone is out to find a way to take it from you.  The easy way.  The Law Suit against him for 5+ Million.  That will make an Attorney rich and the Plaintiff.  The Government of Belize looking for a 2 Million Dollar pay off.

Everyone with their hand out to take it all away.

I believe him about the 2 Million Dollar Bribe to the Belize Government but I would not be suprised if it was to cover up the Murder.  Or did the Belize Government kill the Neighbor and then demand 2 Million not to charge him?  The problem is that in Mexico and Belize these things are not that uncommon.

Although, it is hard to believe anything he says.  He is a known liar.  He keeps saying it was a joke about prior statements he made about the bath salts, the heart attack, which turned out to be fake.  This leads anyone to the conclusion that your cannot believe anything he says.  It is all to create an illusion and confuse everyone as to the real truth.

shovelhead's picture

Why is everyone picking on this crazy bastard?

Seems to me the most rational thing he's allegedly done is shoot a guy who poisoned his dogs.

Poison my dog and you die. Simple as that. What's the problem?

Doesn't anybody around here believe in justice anymore?

Matt's picture

Maybe the dogs wondered off the property and drank some radiator fluid somewhere, and no one intentionally poisoned them at all.

lindaamick's picture

Mcafee understands US society.

He is a PR guy who has mastered self promotion easily converting sensationalism into big bucks for himself.

Jake88's picture

"Humor"? I guess you had to be there.

lakecity55's picture

That Belize is a helluva drug.

ThanksIwillHaveAnother's picture

Every time I have listened to McAfee or read his blog he appears very rational.  So what if he loves a 20 year old women, are men jealous?  CNBC is pathetic.  All TV is pathetic.  Cut the cord.

LadyEconomist's picture

He sounds really normal and rational. His explanations are very plausible. I don't know what the whole hupla was about. MSM is trying to destroy a person's life again.

Aurora Ex Machina's picture

4.35 "If I decided to do drugs again, I have the resources to do good drugs"

Looks good for a 67 year old, I suspect that the nootropic drug manufacture rumour is actually true. Note: he claims he was left out in the sun for 14 hours, explains the sun-burn.

...but he's in Miami, talking about bath salts, and hoaxes.

This play has a final act, and a final moment of bathos coming. Watch out for wild naked men eating his face off.

MeelionDollerBogus's picture

Honestly what I found completely non-humourous and quite worthy of respect is someone who's earned a lot of money in several businessses at age 67 having lost a huge amount of that money, still worth a lot, still able to say with pride he'd shine shoes for a living.
Not many in this world have that much of a work ethic.

3ringmike's picture

Mcafee isn't the reason:

1.your upside down on your mortgage

2.the reason your city, state, country is broke

3.didn't steal your savings

He's a rich guy that gave TPTB the finger. They don't like that.

Hate the game, don't hate the player.

Orange Pekoe's picture

Thugs are targeting him because they know that he is unpopular and that few people will help him defend himself.
