I know which way the wind is blowing and will blow. This is nothing more than entertainment for me: something to take my mind off of hard work... And, well, to me I cannot accept any "wealth" that I didn't earn/create (well, I do get some small amounts of interest on rather small cash holdings [kind of stuck with an IRA for now], but it's of no significance in my day-to-day living (and since I do not plan on "retiring" it's of no significance there as well).
Last words of wisdom on this: understand "value," not price (as represented in numbers, which are usually denoted in virtual unbacked currencies).
Haven't seen "The McGlaughlin Group" in years but watched this clip today of their 2012 awards. The panel thinks that Bernanke has saved the world and should be Man of the Year (also a bunch of anti-gun rants). These people are idiots or they're not even caring anymore that they look like they've been bought off. Disagreed with almost all of their opinions. Looks like we at ZH are 180 degrees out of phase with what they are portraying as current conventional wisdom. Damn depressing and sickening.

(I won't say what I'd like to say about Ben Stein out of fear of the surveillance State. Suffice it to say, I think that a law should be passed that would grant Peter Schiff the right to pull out all these goons into town center and tar and feather them, while they admit that they were HORRIBLY wrong, and will give all of their wealth to the homeless.)

OT: This video is not for the squeamish, you have been warned.
Any of you who have been watching the unfolding 'story' about the Syrian Air Force's attack on the alleged 'bakery' in Syria, well here's a video of the event's immediate aftermath, about 11 mins 26 sec of it, uncut.
What the video appears to show is that the Syria air force scored a hit on what looks to have been a Free Syrian Army (FSA) base. The weapon has a small explosive warhead, possibly a rocket from a jet, or an artillery shell. The weapon made a small crater in the sidewalk but most of the explosion was directed upwards to the balcony above it, and caused the wall of the balcony to collapse down on the FSA soldiers below it. It appears a large number of FSA fighters were killed and injured by the balcony, not the weapon itself. This was a well-targeted surprise strike and probably a 'lucky' hit.
Almost every media on earth seems to be going with the propaganda lie that this was a malicious attack on a suburban 'bakery'. Take particular note of the bread being placed on the ground (9min 42 sec) as a part of the cover story that this was just a bakery that was attacked. Yes, one person, who was injured (around the corner and across the street from where the blast occurred) was carrying flat-bread at the time of the blast, but to call the target itself a "bakery" is extremely doubtful, to say the least.
The target was a large 3-story building with antenna's and a dish on the roof and what looked like a flag. Plus a large high-walled enclosed compound around it (it looks like it may be a former police station). There are a very large number of weapons and soldiers all around it and a white 'technical' vehicle with an anti-aircraft gun on it. Some FSA soldiers have both camouflage and assault rifles, while others have civilian clothing, but carry military assault weapons. See anyone other than males of fighting-age? Any women and children? Other than one unharmed young boy in clean cloths running past the camera well after the blast, there are none at all.

Maybe Becky and Co will get the word out. We wouldn't want lies to triumph over truth, and all that. And at least the camera guy had the decency to post the video so that the real truth of what happened could be seen and known about what went on in this case. Would be nice if the global mass media just did its job and checked the facts before spreading lies and propaganda that just makes things so much distorted and intractable. I mean, they're actually paid to do their jobs properly and accurately right?
