Japan's Words Of Advice To Doomsayers: "Please Do Not Worry" And "Maintain Fiscal Discipline"

Tyler Durden's picture

Six months ago, Japan's message to the Kyle Bassians of the world - was simple:

Q. If Japan has a financial collapse, what will happen to its government bonds?

A. Please do not worry.

Uhm, Ok.

The somewhat vague, if very reassuring, warning above has since been revised to provide some additional "information":

Q. If Japan fell into a financial crisis, what happens to government bonds? [note the slight change of "financial collapse"]

A. If you lose confidence, government bonds will fall due to a rise in rates. There is a "possibility that trouble may occur." And to avoid such a situation, "maintain fiscal discipline."

Well, we for one, feel much better already...

So please don't worry.

It is no small coincidence that while the world is coming undone we are seeing an ever greater push to liberalize drug laws. After all, with a doobie and a bag of chips, what else do you need, right? The world becomes just another sitcom while we sit in a darkened room, stoned out of our gourd, imagining it as another creation for our personal entertainment broadcast on TV. With modern special effects the line between reality and fiction has been greatly blurred, and with the complete saturation of the internet with voices screaming obvious truths from every direction, everything is simultaneously super real and totally unbelievable. Drugs are obviously the only answer as they allow us to at least imagine a reality of our liking. Reality is now the threat. We must escape any way we can!

I'd be quite comfortable making a bet that most herbal practitioners are far more aware of the State of the Union than those who don't partake or imbibe in spirits.

They also tend to take the road less traveled and are immune to the blandishments of those who would halt their wandering ways. They obviously ignore the status quo and are loathe to participate in most of it's egregious excesses.

Cannabis only dulls those who were dullards to begin with.

Don't tell anyone, but they were MUSLIMS! We'll just bury the story and bury that fact still deeper.

Keep it on the downlow, ok? Rules and all that. Wouldn't want to come off racist, or anything.

I am sure their religion had nothing whatsoever to do with them behading a British solier in the street while shouting Allahu Akbar...

The same vocabulary almost exactly they used as with the Fukushima disaster. So based on that experience and knowing now just how many lies were told regarding that incident people should be very worried.

Looks like the pillars are crumbling. Did utility investors just lose half their money? When it becomes too expensive to borrow money the pillars will fall. Look out below or no? How can I make a plan if I don't know what to plan for? It's The scene in V when the dominoes fall.

Japan is a necessary 100% government dependent entity, it must be interesting to live there and deal with the constraints of high population density and a citified culture.  The US fortunately has staggering amounts of real estate and opportunity for some.  Frankly we need their sharp business management skills and cultural historical wisdom.

'Here's what's already (certainly will come to fruition?) happening if 'Abe' get's another free-pass?'

Revoking Japan's Atricle #9 of the Japanese (forbids the aquiring of nuclear weapons) Constitution! Since 1980, Japan has accumulated ~70 tons of weapons-grade plutonium. Japan has a sophisticated (highly advanced?) missile ballistic delivery system with the technology/ knowhow/ resources to back it up!

Ref: As I (copy/SIC) write, Seoul (S.K.) and Taipei (Taiwan) are considering 'Nuclear-Options'? The future of nuclear proliferation is an offshoot of QEternityU.S. Style formatted with Japan's 'Abe' belated QuasimodoQEternity financial/economic warring, of imperialism bifurcation proportions!?

Their accuse will be Pyongyang (N.K.) 'Nuclear-Provocation' of destabalizing the S. China seas?! But, in reality we all know it's comes down to 'MAD`Nth' on a obselete writ of "MOU'f`bs!"... that keeps 'TPTB' in an impossible centrifuged inculate'd flux. Which in itself is a self-preservation m.o.,--yes-no?

The 21st c. Arm's Race awakens from a hiatus/ complacent slumber... finding oneself,... all, in a nightmarish reality where the unthinkable is now the thinkable!!!

Please note:   'Mini`Mini-Nukes' is/ are the future weapon of choice in a 'Droned-Out-World'... abandoning the 'Suitcase in the lobby of unspeakable puerile discourse??? A fine-tuned WMD for pinpoint accuracy, and maximum collateral damage?!? A synonym's, 'neo-bubonic annihilation placebo of the 'Eleven'th Kind' ?!?!?!
