Former Hawkish Bank Of Israel Head Rumored To Be Next Fed Vice Chairman

Tyler Durden's picture

While Bernanke may be about to leave; none other than his mentor and thesis adviser - former Bank of Israel chief Stanley Fischer is rumored to be in line for a new role:

  • FISCHER STEPPED DOWN AS BANK OF ISRAEL GOVERNOR IN JUNE
  • FISCHER LEADING CANDIDATE TO BE DEPUTY FED CHIEF: ISRAEL CH. 2
  • DJ WHITE HOUSE NEAR NOMINATING STANLEY FISCHER TO FED VICE CHAIR
And so the circle of life is complete. So far, the White House has declined to comment, but we note Fischer has a reputation for beng more hawkish than most - evidenced by his refusal to engage in the kind of dovish activity the rest of the world did while in charge in Israel and is especially downbeat on forward guidance.

Mr. Fischer said making such statements – known as forward guidance – can cause market confusion. You can’t expect the Fed to spell out what it’s going to do,” Mr. Fischer said. “Why? Because it doesn’t know.”

He added: “We don’t know what we’ll be doing a year from now. It’s a mistake to try and get too precise.” Mr. Fischer said he tried, on becoming governor of the Bank of Israel in 2005, to give signals to the market – but quickly gave up as he realized it restricted the bank’s future actions when circumstances changed.

“If you give too much forward guidance you do take away flexibility,” said Mr. Fischer. Part of the problem around giving indications of future actions is they are conditional and nuanced.

Also of note: Fischer was once upon a time considered the "dark horse" candidate to replace Bernanke:

Dark-horse candidates include Stanley Fischer, an American citizen who recently stepped down as governor of the Bank of Israel, and Roger Ferguson, another former Fed vice chairman and now chief executive of TIAA-CREF, a not-for-profit financial-services company.

For now the market seems oblivious that the #2 person at the Fed may be far more hawkish than Larry Summers ever would be.

In their two hour condemnation (I saw their video on YouTube) of the Fed and banksters, Ellen Brown and Bill Still never once mentioned which tribe these international money changers claimed allegiance to. I wonder why.

If you want to know who rules you, just find out whom you are not allowed to criticize.

How ridiculous.

Everybody knows that if you're going full Israeli Jewish-bankster retard, you go all the way.

To this end, Netanyahu needs to replace Obama, and the Congress shelved and replaced with the Knesset.

Here is how they celebrate the rothschilds in tel aviv.......they fucking named a street after them.......

''This is the first glimpse inside the luxurious 42-storey Meier-on-Rothschild Tower - the residential skyscraper billed as the One Hyde Park of Tel Aviv.

The building, located in the commercial Rothschild Boulevard area of the city, boasts 141 luxury two to eight-bedroom apartments - many of which have already been snapped up by some of world's richest people.

Located at the very top of the 590ft tower -  designed by Pritzker Prize-Winning international architect Richard Meier - are three £32million penthouses, complete with swimming pools, cocktail bars, and even private cinemas.''

Where will this man's loyalty be? Wikipedia states that he is a Zambian American Israeli. Bueller ? Bueller ? BUELLER ??!!!!!! Dollars to donuts his loyalty will NOT be to creating jobs. His loyalty will be to his owners , but the money he gets paid will come from what is siphoned off of every taxpayer's labor as income tax. This is ludicrous. It is beyond tragic or comical anymore.

Be happy America!

Not only have your been raped in every orifice with H1B1 Visas that have no restrictions coming into your Country but I foresee the day when everyone with dual citizenship will be able to obtain a security clearence because their won't be any Americans capable of doing the work.

After all Richard Perle, Paul Bremer, Paul Wolfowitz and Dov Zakheim are all Israeli subjects with American passports and have held all of our Country's highest secrets!  Why not members of the Central Bank of the Federal Reserve?

My prediction?

Mr. Fischer brings in Magna BSP to secure all of the U.S. commerical nuclear reactor facilities for a bargain to the Federal Government.  Just ask Japan how well it's worked out for them?

Nice Magna BSP reference.  Gun-type nukes, hidden in cameras, combined with Stuxnet, FTW.

And won't it be just the perfect "Do as I say" moment when they need the U.S. military to finish their fine work in the Middle East only this time higher up the food chain with the likes of Syria and Iran.

9/11 only with a generous dash of "fizz"ion.

Is there such a Nuke plant near the Desalination Plant in San Diego that IDE America Tech (subsidiary of IDE Technologies Ltd.) got?  It sure would help/leverage the electrical power issues that they could, [cough]... "harmonize".

Boy the Zionist Yids sure love the water. Both bathing in it as well as contaminating it!

Much obliged for that second read as I was not aware of this one.

My only hope at this late stage is that the people watching this site who care about their Country more than the paycheck they receive are putting this kind of information to good use other than the files they keep on us.  Sure hope Fort Meade has a tap on the House and Senate members in that jurisdiction of San Diego when the opportune moment avails itself.

And who knows?  Maybe we'll be rewarded this time around with someone actually going to jail for selling there Country out before something catastrophic takes place unlike the dishonest turncoats that looked the other way and took the money for lower Manhattan and the Pentagon?

Just ask me how much I would love to see them swinging from a rope if they should get caught?

Such a fiscal "hawk", a fiscal Iron Man!

He might even have fixed Weimar too before it got really bad ....

(But their side had a vested interest in bleeding Germany dry after WW1 and buying all of Germany on the very cheap after WW2)

Moneychanger scum. All of them. Flavians knew who they were fighting and why.

This is the Fed's way of saying it feels trapped and alone and needs a big hug cause it's scared:

“If you give too much forward guidance you do take away flexibility,” said Mr. Fischer. Part of the problem around giving indications of future actions is they are conditional and nuanced.

Let's all think, ruminate, discuss, and act as if the existence of the Fed is a priori legitimate.

Okay?

I heard from a reliable source that it was also possible for Canadians to hold dual citizenship with the USA, but I haven't researched it.  As to not permitting dual citizenship with Mexico, not to worry.  We will all be citizens of the North American Union and buying a loaf of Wunderbrot with 50 Ameros soon.

And for those who do not want to read too deeply in to the comment section.  Fischer was born in Zambia, Africa, received his USA citizenship in 1976 and Israeli citizenship in 2005.  He is currently a dual national.

Funny how no one complained about Arnold becoming governor of Cali while being a dual citizen of Austria. Oh wait, all of you whining about not being able to complain about Jews and Israel while actually doing it and then whining about who controls everything well boo fucking hoo. Whatever, a bunch of people looking to whine about a Jew getting nominated and obsessed about that while no commentary AT ALL on this thread about the job he did in Israel is what so many of your whining about being called anti Semites and anti zionists when that's exactly what you are doing. Remember, no commentary about his performance just obsession about his religion.

Obviously, Fischer is a citizen of the world (internationalist).  But, where will he stand on QE?  Will he become Fed chairman after Yellen is disgraced and becomes Treasury Secretary -  like G William Miller?  Perhaps Yellen has been set up to take the fall.  I don't trust him but we may have to figure out how to survive with Fischer.  Because I cannot see this guy playing second fiddle to Yellen for long.
