I guess in that part of New Jersey (I grew up 5 miles west of the George Washington Bridge) the initials GWB refers to the bridge, not #43. Regardless, it's Bush's fault.
It's a good thing guys like Christie and Obama and Holder and ETCETERA can work in public office because for how little they know about WTF is going on around them, they'd never make it in the private sector as anything more than a floor sweeper. Can you imagine a sales manager telling his general manager, "I didn't know Brittany was selling for 15% less than what we bought it for - I was simply not aware, sorry. She didn't tell me so I didn't know." Fired, that's what would happen....
I can't wait for the press conference where he comes out, bites his lower lip and says: "I did not have sex with that bridge."

How Christie handles this will determine whether he has a chance to run for President. It is the first skeleton that the liberal media will pull out of his closet. Otherwise, he can assume that every past action he has take will be pulled out, and every second of every day he will be photographed and recorded as the media tries to find Christie's smoking gun that will get Hillary into the White House.
The smoking rectum of our ambassodor to Egypt will be a challenge for Hillary as will the infamous and viral gloat over Ghadaffi's murder: "We came, we saw, he died . . hahahhahaaa"

I see a third party run in his future his main attraction would be his promise to punish both dems and republicans
Tell you what enloe...that scenario is not too far fetched. Even before this, he would have probably gotten more votes as a Dem or Independent than a Repub.
A caller on Beck's show this a.m. speculated that knowing what we now know about how vindictive Christie is...perhaps he blew the election for Romney with the whole Obama love fest in the aftermath of Sandy becuase Romney passed him over for a VP pick.
Interesting strategy.
I voted for this guy his first election because my perception of him at the time was a) he was not a crooked machine politician (a rarity in NJ); and b) he spoke as if he would be a true reformer of government largesse.
Turns out he is just another "conservative" who pays lip service to fiscal responsibility but will sell out his principals for an easy re-election. He had his picture taken in the past campaign with some of Hudson County's sleaziest politicians just so they would "deliver the vote".
If you are thinking of voting for him in a presidential election don't bother unless you want to be disappointed.
He went from a leader to a politician. Surprised it took him this long.
