Stranger Than Fiction: Papal Peace Dove Pounced On By Capitalist Crow & Swooping Seagull

Tyler Durden's picture

Amid calls to spread the wealth (among the elites in Davos) and for an end to violence in Ukraine, the Pope released his "peace" doves today to send a message of hope to the world. However, the callous claws of capitalism (in the form of a black crow) and the sullen shape of social unrest (in the form of a seagull) decided to send their own message. As the sad images below show, the peaceful dove had his feathers ruffled following the callous attack by the winged avengers... As one wit noted, rumors that the end is nigh are as yet unconfirmed (although if Nomura loses control of the USDJPY levitation, and it breaches the 102 support, all bets are off).

Pope talks peace and prosperity...

and his little helpers release two white "peace" doves...

When the unthinkable happened...

What's the opposite of eating crow?

And a seagull!?

As CTV reports,

Via AP,

Two white doves that were released by children standing alongside Pope Francis as a peace gesture have been attacked by other birds.

As tens of thousands of people watched in St. Peter's Square on Sunday, a seagull and a large black crow swept down on the doves right after they were set free from an open window of the Apostolic Palace.

One dove lost some feathers as it broke free from the gull. But the crow pecked repeatedly at the other dove.

It was not clear what happened to the doves as they flew off.

A message from above (or below) that wealth is better off in the hands of the 1%? You decide...

The last pope

The last something or other. This Pope is a Jesuit General. There will be a reckoning, one way or another.

People who are ignorant of spiritual or property/money power think that politicians rule. They don't. They are spendthrifts, and debt collectors. Vainglorious. Only useful if they serve well. To be punished along with their bankster puppeteers when they fail repeatedly.

something tells me you don't know a fuckin' thing about the Jesuit Order.

And that your conspiracy theorizing proceeds without any evidence, while ignoring ample evidence of genuine conspiracies engendered by others.

And for the record, the last pope prophecy was a fake written 3 centuries or more after Malachy, and the book of Revelation was couched in the mystical writing of messianic Judaism and regarded events that had already happened in the 1st Century A.D.

Evangelicals are just about the most ignorant religious people in the world.  They memorize text they don't begin to understand, pretend to worship a guy who never existed, and don't even follow the fake dude's ethical guidelines.

You're at least largely right about the banksters, but guess what pal, they ain't Catholic.

St. Peters was formerly the Circus of Nero in Ancient Rome, and being a prominent spot, the Romans would have taken this as quite an omen.

Any ideas how this may fit in with Putin and The Eastern Orthodox Church.  Every Christmas Eve he has attended mass.  I am not saying he is a good guy but he knows the evil in our midst and stood up for Christians in Syria.

V.V.P. is a very strong leader, something lacking in the West. I would suggest he attends for the pr, he is much too wise, in my opinion, for god.  And he knows the evil amen, as you say.

I say Putin is a strong leader and strong leaders make strong groups.

I've got one of those eagles, here in my freezer at home. It was sick and died. I watched it die, it puked up some green bird shit type snot out its' beak then it collapsed in the snow. The eagle is all fucked up.

Too bad, so sad.

If you are serious with this statement, then all I have to say is FUCK YOU, you Tyler wantabe replacements! Capitalism and free enerprise is the last bastion of freedom against the state. If anything the crows are the callouses claws of central planning.

I think the Tylers sometimes try too hard to appeal to all, particularly the peers they admire in journalism. Sometimes, silence is best, particularly when straying beyond the trading world into the realm of religion, philosophy and spiritual beliefs.  Just my opinion.

Quite right, Dr. Engali. I'm not arguing with you. I do agree that property law ought to be applied equally, without fear or favor. And only capitalism does that if it is operated honestly.

Socialism, communism, feudalism, corporatism, fascism seeks to concentrate power and money into the hands of the few at the expense of the many. On this, we may agree. And history proves it true.

Capitalism not only requires successes to be rewarded, but it also requires failures to be punished. In other words we are free to succeed or free to fail. When we have a system that privatizes gains and socializes losses , then we have a Wall street/ Washington fascist system. ... Learn the difference.

I'm clear as to the difference. But what happens when the smart -n- savvy small capitalists get large enough to bribe political representatives to socialize their losses and avoid the process of creative destruction? After all -- it's human nature to preserve and extend a relative advantage...

Keep up the good fight, Spanky.

When it looks like it is working, they call it "capitalism".  When it obviously doesn't work, it is called any other "ism".  Fascism occurs when the richest capitalists simply buy the govt.  How did they get so rich?  Wasn't "competition" supposed to stop them from getting too powerful?

"If only ..." then we would have true capitalism and it would work.  Yeah sure, and "if only ..." then communism would also work exactly as advertised.  And loving, wise benevolent kings would also give us a wonderful system.  All that shit belongs in fairyland.

Question the assumptions - that is where the action is.  We can speak.  But some will never get it.

Mon, 01/27/2014 - 07:50 | 4370660 Dr. Engali
Dr. Engali's picture

There are people who consolidate power and bend the rules to their favor in any particular "ism". Which is why you will never find any system in its pure form. TPTB like to lead us to believe that this is a capitalist system, but that doesn't make it so. If it were then there would have been a whole host of bankrupt entities back in 2008.

Maybe the dumbest shit I've read on here. Totem pole inanity.  You will find corruption wherever there is power.  There is nothing especially evil about Jesuits, if anything they're amongst the most liberal, open-minded, and humanistic orders.  Military strength?  A couple hundred Swiss guys in tights isn't especially daunting.  This "black Pope" shit is a Marvel Comics-like fabrication, my sense is promulgated by people who want to take eyes off the much more, at least superficially, credible NWO/Zionist/International Jewish and possibly Freemason conspiracies.

Who's in power where?  You see a lot of Jesuits in positions of political or banking power in the US or elsewhere?  There are probably 10 times as many catholics as Jews in the US - would you say it's Catholics dominating the IRS, the Fed, the Treasury, and so forth?   Heading the big banks?  How clever of the Jesuits to not install Catholics, who would be doubly sure to obey them, on temporal and spiritual grounds.

You fucking idiots.

It's not what people are by ancestry, or even what they believe - it's what they do which matters, and there are evil fucks of all colors and persuasions all over the globe.

Central Banking, authoritarian government, blind nationalism and religious dogma are the true horsemen of the apocalypse.

Ah - symbolism and superstition collide to provide endless debate among the 'symbol minded' as to the interpretation of this event.

In the movie Troy I remember king Priam listening to the omens of the soothsayers who were also avid birdwatchers - and decided to go to recklessly press an attack based on the sight of some birds normal activities.

No doubt, in the minds of some, the natural activities of these rather special birds will be rife with ominous portent - perhaps our world might be better ruled by following these random superstitious signs, rather than the grand design of criminal conspiracy which seems rather more orderly in its destructive nature.
