A month ago, none other than Conan O'Brien exposed the un-independent PR-sponsored propaganda-fest that is the local news mainstream media in America. Well, it's happened again... this time proclaiming "Don't worry... be Happy."
As Liberty Blitzkrieg's Mike Krieger reminds, we all know the mainstream media is a joke but sometimes its inherent idiocy can be best highlighted with a little humor...

Well, they say matchking on the box. The M1 loves them though. I don't even have to count clicks. I just set the dial so that the numbers line up, and viola, 2 is dead on at 200, and even 6 is dead on at 600. While I've shot an M1 out to 1000, I've not done it with the 155s yet, so I cannot comment on that.
I can also tell you that they are absolutely devastating on living tissue when you don't need to punch through more bone than, say a rib cage. If you have to punch through a lot of bone, however, they are a very, very poor choice. If you are talking about hunting, and you hit a shoulder on a large animal, it's probably going to run off on three legs and die a very painful death, and even if you track it down, that quarter is going to be ruined. If you hit it high in the chest cavity, it's probably going to turn the heart and lungs into mush, send a ballistic pressure wave through the circulatory system and cause an aneurysm, and do damage to the spinal cord. On a human head, there would be almost nothing left.
Edit: I've not actually been to Camp Perry, but I have been to Whittington Center. Not for a while, but it is a very nice range. The firing line at the high power range has a lot of coal just laying around. Just watch out when you go into Raton. Last time I went into that town, there was some bearded guy (I'm talking ZZ Top beard) standing in front of the K-Mart, playing his guitar while wearing a wedding dress. There is or, or at least was, a law on the books making it illegal for a woman to ride a horse down the street wearing a komono. I can only imagine what brought that law about.

You could probably do just as devasatating a collage of talking heads regurgitating the talking points they were given for Syria or Ukrane, the Dow or the latest Unemployment figures, but many would bring to that their debates about what is true and what is a lie - or more to the point, the matter of whether they've been taken for suckers - and so would resist really seeing it for what it is. It's precisely because this one is devoid of real content and gets folks laughing that it lays bare the true nature of the media machine in an irresistable way!
