Ron Paul Rages "Will No One Challenge Obama’s Executive Orders?"
Submitted by Ron Paul of the Ron Paul Institute,
President Obama’s state of the union pledge to “act with or without Congress” marks a milestone in presidential usurpation of Congressional authority. Most modern presidents have used executive orders to change and even create laws without Congressional approval. However President Obama is unusually brazen, in that most Presidents do not brag about their plans to rule by executive order in state of the union speeches.
Sadly, his pledge to use his pen to implement laws and polices without the consent of Congress not only received thunderous applause from representatives of the president’s party, some representatives have even pledged to help Obama get around Congress by providing him with ideas for executive orders. The Constitution’s authors would be horrified to see legislators actively aiding and abetting a president taking power away from the legislature.
Executive orders are perfectly legitimate and even necessary if, in the words of leading Constitutional Scholar Judge Andrew Napolitano, they “…. guide the executive branch on how to enforce a law or…complement and supplement what Congress has already done.” The problem is that most modern presidents have abused this power to issue orders that, as Judge Napolitano puts it, “restates federal law, or contradicts federal law, or does the opposite of what the federal law is supposed to do.”
Political opponents of the president rightly condemned Obama for disregarding the Constitution. However, it was not that long ago that many of the same politicians were labeling as “unpatriotic” or worse anyone who dared question President Bush’s assertions the he had the “inherent” authority to launch wars, spy on Americans, and even indefinitely detain American citizens.
Partisan considerations also make some members of the opposition party hesitate to reign in the president. These members are reluctant to set a precedent of “tying the president’s hands” that could be used against a future president of their own party.
The concentration of power in the office of the president is yet one more negative consequence of our interventionist foreign policy. A foreign policy based on interventionism requires a strong and energetic executive, unfettered by Constitutional niceties such as waiting for Congress to pass laws or declare war. So it simply was natural, as America abandoned the traditional foreign policy of non-interventionism, for presidents to act “without waiting for Congress.” After all, the president is “commander-in-chief” and he needs to protect “national security,” they argued. Once it became accepted practice for the president to disregard Congress in foreign affairs, it was only a matter of time before presidents would begin usurping Congressional authority in domestic matters.
It should not be surprising that some of the biggest promoters of an “energetic” executive are the neoconservatives. They are also enthusiastic promoters of the warfare state. Sadly, they have misled many constitutionalists into believing that one can consistently support unchecked presidential authority in foreign policy, but limit presidential authority in domestic matters. Until it is fully understood that virtually limitless presidential authority in foreign affairs cannot coexist with strict limits on Presidential authority in domestic matters, we will never limit the power of the Presidency.
The people must also insist that politicians stop viewing issues concerning the separation of powers through a partisan lens and instead be willing to act against any president who exceeds his constitutional limitations. Thankfully we have scholars such as Louis Fisher, who has just published an important new book on presidential power, to help us better understand the Founders’ intent with regard to separation of powers. The key to achieving this goal is to make sure the people understand that any president of any party who would exceed constitutional limitations is a threat to liberty, and any member of Congress who ignores or facilitates presidential usurpation is being derelict in his Constitutional duty.

"Will No One Challenge Obama’s Executive Orders?"
Apparently not........ So what does that say about the rest of our elected clowns?
That th NSA has a lot of dirt on them? That they serve their own interests first and foremost? That they are derelict in their duties to the point of treason?
There's the word I was looking for, the T word.
In my lifetime we have had wars on various countries, war on poverty, war on drugs, war on terror, war on repeat offenders, presently a war on the middle class and heterosexuals.
So when do we get a war on traitors, a war on the lucifarians and a war on financial mafioso's? Or maybe they are all one and the same...... One war, wipe them all out, makes sense.
"One war, wipe them all out, makes sense."
They've been booted out of dozens of countries (some more than once) for thousands of years. They'll move on to a new host.
and they wouldn't think twice about slaughtering you.
What does it say about the rest of us ?? If we were prepared to loose everything maybe we would make a stand , perhaps when all is lost and we do no have so many choices and so much material comfort.
This began with Nixon and has been getting progressively worse. Of course Ron Paul raged about it then too.
Let me be clear; roll. the. motherfucking. guillotines!!!!!!
Nothing changes otherwise.
Internet conspiracy theory says that the guillotines exist but they won't be used on politicians or banksters.
As has been adamantly proven many times over...
There are no Conspiracy Theories, anymore
"....... I don't deal in conspiracy theories, I deal in conspiracy FACT....... "
did I guess rignt??
Problem is too many of us have a pretty good idea {I'll stop short of saying we know} but do little more than bitch and chew to each other on venues like this, but then again fighing a riptide is usually just gonna end with you tired and dead so don't take this as a judgement of weak character. Hell even Spetnaz will dig in and hunker down and let the tanks roll over them .... At any rate the lack of participation by the people in chosing the people to represent the people is an paradox downward spiral that has brought us to the terminal stage we see before us now. Ignore a cancer long enough and it will eventually die........
By comparison the body of evidence against the regimes of the past few decades is incredibly criminal but crimes commited by those who write the laws are just never gonna see a courtroom - so for better or worse i guess we are it........ see you after the party
you cant just roll the guillotines you have to try them in a court of law oh wait that would be the SCOTUS
he still needs to be tried in a court might just need a differenet one
A jury of his peers ia all we need. The only way we are all equal (peers); we are all soverigns and therefor are fit to judge one another. Only a King can try a King, only a sovernogn can try another soverign. I believe that was established in a meadow in Runnymeade a long, long time ago.
Getting these bastards alive may be the biggest trick. Milestones
Stop giving politicians money. The only way.
They do not need our money, the producers have adequate funds for the actors and the sets.
Big plus for you! I wish this criptic reference would be understood by more people!

It is anti-American and racist to challenge Obama.
Homeland Security would like a word with you. Would you kindly relocate yourself to a new program aimed at educating Americans in the government approved ways of thinking.
Welcome to Fun Never-ending Summer Enrichment Camp and Nuclear Reprocessing Facility #9, subject.
Yes, we have a new uniform for you.

Yes, that's right....
Since the House of Representatives have the Constitutional AUTHORITY to allocate FUNDS...to spend money...
And since the House of Representatives FUNDED the ACA, MURDER Care
And since the Republicans hold the Power in the House of Reprehensibles..er...Representatives...
It just serves to demostrate that they support OBAMATM, (Oh Be America's Murdering Agent) as Financial Support IS SUPPORT.
OBAMATM is a GOOD REPREHENSIBLE and DEMOCRETIAN. It might be added that he was a SECRETION from Satan's anus.
Nobody in CON-gress is Anti-American. Not even Rand Paul. (He was disloyal to his own father, his own flesh and blood. If you can be disloyal to your own father then you can be disloyal to ANYONE.)
THERE ARE NO POLITICAL SOLUTIONS. THIS IS CORRUPTED AT THE CORE AND MANIFESTS FROM WITHIN. IT CANNOT BE HEALED.

Is the a great country, or what?
Is Chelsea Clinton of age yet? ofc not, but maybe through Executive Order?
What was is that Magua said in the Last Of The Mohicans? Oh yeah, "When the Grey Hair is dead, ... Before he dies, Magua will put his children under the knife, so the Grey Hair will know his seed is wiped out forever."
Sound advice. Oops, forgot, she's non longer Chelsea Clinton; she's Mrs Marc Mezvinsky. All the more fucking reason.
Just put her birth certificate and all her records under seal, then pretend she's eligible. Worked before.
No, and that is why the Republican Party will become extinct-they are gutless.
Hopefully the republicans will die broke.

Hey Turkey Ron Paul,
YOU show people this:
The Public Be Suckered

not a guy who's read End the Fed I reckon.
Power is not taken so much as given either by malicious intent, deception, default, fear, laziness, incompetence, bribery or corruption.
This short clip from The Game of Thrones explains a lot CD:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ab6GyR_5N6c
But, this one explains much, much more:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qv0lY6PeHUQ
Those in power may be able to slit throats, but even they must answer to the ultimate power. Their day is coming...as it is for us all. Tis just a game they play. A game to hold on to something which they've never really had to begin with.
I always try to remember the difference between the use of power (say to order others to slit a throat) and where that power derives from.
The ancient Kings and Priests used the con of nobility or divinity to convince those who had the naturally born power, the people, to give that power away. Today elections are used to perpetuate the con and thus facilitate the transfer of power.
Power is neither created nor destroyed, only transferred.
Actually, the King doesn't do shit.
He's got the guys with iron pajamas and swords to do all the PR work.
The King has to only convince them that he's the king.
Why stop there ?
As a free and sovereign individual, I am left no but to follow my own executive orders since our public employees are out of control and can't be trusted to limit themselves to their job descriptions, ie., the Constitution.
Impeach Obama.
The real Congressional business gets done at Bohemian Grove, that is, before the Molach shenanigans get going
Kind of says something of the pathetic sheeple of the US to have it let get this far in the first place.
Pathetic, indeed. But pray tell, what can we the people do? Our .gov has stripped us of all the power and they are in the process of confiscating our guns. But even with our guns firmly in hand, we are powerless against the mighty military, DHS, 50 and so on.
Ron Paul speaks such truth but no one wants to hear the truth. People prefer the lies that support their beliefs/perceptions and make them feel happy about their poor life.
its not bout the "R" or the "D" both are the same team... there are a few on both sides that are not corrupt... very few...
Obama 4 Dictator!
I don't normally grant wishes but in this case YOUR WISH IS GRANTED!
"It should not be surprising that some of the biggest promoters of an “energetic” executive are the neoconservatives."
Exactly.
And it is vital to know the basic story of neoconservatism's origins, and to recall the figures who were surrounding Obama from day one. The notion that he is a secret Muslim out to help create the Caliphate was classic disinfo. Probably in part the work of the reprehensible Cass Sunstein.
Of course, to be fair, every President, since before, but especially since FDR has wanted to expand the boundaries of executive power. I disagree with much of, maybe most of what FDR did (mainly on Constitutional grounds since I'll admit I don't feel I know enough about the economics to be a knowledgeable critic of what he did then) but I do think he was largely, if not exclusively, doing it to help, in his view, the American people...
But Obama's grabs, and Bush before him, seem largely to not merely expand Executive power at the often ill-defined margins, but to explicitly subvert basic tenets of the Constitution and separation of powers.
And given who surrounded and still largly surrounds him, you can infer that the well-being of the American people don't really enter into it.
I'd be very surprised if we don't see a bold move to place real controls on internet freedom in the next year or so. However, Congress is so bought and paid for, any such move will almost certainly be able to originate from them.
JC, Perhaps of interest. http://mises.org/rothbard/agd.pdf
Lays bare, Hoover and FDR!
Too little too late.
While I generously admire Ron Paul on too many things to even count on how he schooled the American people on the issues surrounding the role of the Constitution in the creation of sound money and the dangers of the Central Banks, he should have demanded a second investigation after the 9/11 Commission Report made it's debut.
He knew and understood very well what would happen by not pursuing it.
Truth organizations approached him to endorse the re-investigation of those events, and like all the rest of them he ignored the facts because of threats.
So its better to be Wellstoned than be the only voice of sanity in an otherwise bought and paid for warmongering, spendaholic Congress?
Examine your premises.
And that JC is why it's going to crash and burn.
The last real men that "didn't eat Quiche" 1963, April 4, 1968 and June 6, 1968 never anticipated I believe that their wouldn't be individuals behind them with courage to fill their shoes.
Guess they were the last this Nation has left to remember!

Get it?
Else, please name one thing - one positive thing - this guy has done over his 30+ years in Congress (even the laws/policies he voted 'no' on benefited his constituents when they invariably passed with a majority of 'yeas' - like pork, for instance).
He's an empty suit and his son is a snake.
I view Dr. Paul as a political pragmatist. IMO, if he's controlled, it's by his own fear of being even further marginalized away from the general public.
He didn't pass any bull shit laws.
Get it?
His son is bought, paid and done for. Pro Israel into the bone.
I always assumed he was under some grave threat.
Regardless, I wouldn't have clarity on politics, economics or business without him. So if he is fake then it backfired.
What I get is you have no idea, none at all, what "controlled opposition" looks like.
Never let the 'perfect' be the enemy of the good, Mr. Troll.
He was controlled (let's say hemmed in and marginalized by the ugly neo-cons and neo-progressives who are in charge) but he is not an empty suit nor a snake. He was Mr 434-1. He consistently opposed foreign interventionism. He called out crony banksters. He called out the police state. Yeah, he was a member, but an "outsider" in that Big Govt club. The jury is still out on his son.
He is not Diane Feinstein. He is not John McCain.
He's just a politician. He brings up minority points of view that are wildly unpopular with the normal Red and Blue Team bullshit believers. He's no different than Bernie Sandars (a socialist) and Elizabeth Warren (who seems to love Big-Ed, but not Big-Fin).
Democracies aren't perfect, but the bigger they are the more distant the government becomes from the people. The US was doomed to fail as a democracy as it grew in size.
He got rich off of his controlled opposition bullshit.
And his son is a snake.

I tell you what. I get a feeling the reason nobody is banging their shoe on a table demanding that the office of President be curbed of power is because they can all see where the nation is headed. I can see it too, and it's not pretty.
In a near future, this republic is dead.
I don't know how it is going to die. Fast or slow. Quietly, or in a spasm of partisan violence. With violence directed outwards, or directed inwards. But die it will. I'm standing here reading the tombstone, my gut in a knot, like it were some kind of a dream or portent but I'm wide awake in this nightmare.
You have to get your head wrapped around the notion that it's over. Just flat over. The dust is going to settle shortly and you are going to look around and notice that nobody in actual power was elected, or at least they openly no longer answer to the electorate. The corporations will be running the show, and local and regional oligarchs will be blatantly choosing who will "represent the people" without any concern that "the people" will not have any say in the process or the least impact on the outcome.
Taxes will go up, crushingly so, and the proceeds will go into fuelling a corporate police state to root out tax evaders, small businesses and every kind of activist, plain and simple. Police will be everywhere but not one of them looking out for the greater good. Just themselves, their pensions, and the interests of their corporate masters.
So why would anyone be raising a fuss today if that is coming tomorrow? Why sign up to be marginalized along with the rest of the muppets, or worse carted off to a FEMA camp? Why would anyone who knows where the power is headed steer their career into the path of that steamroller?
Just read the signs folks. Human nature is telegraphing that the tide is going out, and it's not taking all the boats with it. In particular it's not taking any of us except as galley slaves chained to the oars.
Other than the idea of a non-existent republic dying, I agree completely. The only thing that died was a facade of integrity that NO criminal element can maintain for too long.
Eventually ALL con-games reveal their true nature. Which is why they constantly strive for the "New & Improved" label (d.b.a. "Hope and Change" these days).
Remember, even the Constitutional Convention was but a coup over the previous "Articles of Confederation."
The nation resembles a faux populist South American Military Dictatorship -- but one that regularly exports terror bombings, regime-topplings and military occupations. Obama should get real and start wearing a general's uniform.
A thin Idi Obama.
my plan b is not your plan b but if you like your plan you can dream it. the fema camps will be packed just for a promise of free gubbermint cheez...
I never mentioned my Plan B. But just for the record, I don't have one. I really question the premise that anyone's Plan B, Plan C and Plan D are going to hold up for more than a month each in any case.
As I have often said here when the subject comes up; this race will go to the swift and the resourceful.
The race will go to the swift. That might be construed as a plan. Sounds like advice out of ecclesiastes.
Yes, I agree with you Cougar. We hit the "Event Horizon" a while ago. We can hit the reverse thrusters all we want but it's all gravity now.
That's why they aren't even trying to hide it anymore.
We are at the point in the Firesign Theater skit "Beat The Reaper" where it it has left the studio audience and is now running thru the population at large.

In that context, the "I-5 Plan" is looking better all the time. In either direction.
The "I-5 Plan" hits close to home. Though in my particular case, it might be more like the "101 Plan".
I think about it, sometimes. What I would do. Where I and my little family might go.
I have a '68 1-ton Dodge PU. The thing is a beast on wheels, almost indestructible. I guess I could build a small cabin on the back of it (I do construction) cache 100 gallons of gas on it in tanks for a good start, and bug out. North probably, since you mention it.
But north to where? All roads lead to the same kind of trouble and I still don't have the answer to that. Running just to run -- without much real hope of a life -- seems like a kind of failure of the imagination.
Or to sit in place and live like church mice, quiet and hoping to be overlooked in the center of the storm. Doesn't really appeal, but survival on the open road seems bleak and filled with other unknown terrors.
Could have saved ourselves all this worry and trouble. But we didn't. And we're not likely to either.
California has a nice climate for having nothing else.

Tyler Duren: In the world I see - you are stalking elk through the damp canyon forests around the ruins of Rockefeller Center. You'll wear leather clothes that will last you the rest of your life. You'll climb the wrist-thick kudzu vines that wrap the Sears Tower. And when you look down, you'll see tiny figures pounding corn, laying strips of venison on the empty car pool lane of some abandoned superhighway.
Enjoy your radiation therapy.
Who said we would let you in?
Are you intending on stopping us?
CNBC rails against not extending a huge Government handout!
The Pro-business channel that is staunchly against extending unemployment insurance, constantly calls for cuts to Food Stamp programs and Social Security - calls for a huge windfall to those who made bad investment decisions.
What hypocrisy! The 'Winner-take-all' Capitalism they constant espouse and their warning about the exploding US Govt deficits gets ignored - when it's something they would benefit from - despite their $500,000 a years salaries!
I mean folks made bad investment decisions to buy those half million dollar houses at ridiculous prices at the top of the housing boom. Why should they get bailed-out by the taxpayer for their bad decision? Why not stock investors? Are they next?
The windfall is as much as $50,000 - $300,000 per investor. Coming right out of the taxpayer's pocket. (Oh, and the Banksters get bailed out too! They were the dumb lenders who lent 100-125% of the value of the home. They get made whole PLUS earn a fat fee on each 'short sale' and 'principal reduction mortgage modification')
What about renters? Where is their 'bailout'? What about the smart folks who sold at the top (and had to pay capital gains in many cases)?
Just shows how America is not a Capitalist economy - it's an Oligarchy - with whimsical rules and give aways. How many Congressmen and their families benefited from this program?

The bearded tapeworm Dick Bove was on CNBC defending the banks and bemoaning that they had to pay any fines for breaking the law.
It was like a slave master saying how sorry he felt for the master having to provide a roof, a bed, and food for the slaves then asking "Can I beat them more?".
What a worthless piece of shit that man is; he moved up three spots on my hanging tree list.
I saw that bloviating gas bag too.
Wanted to Jap slap him right into the poor house.
I gave you an upvote because you had me at 'bearded tapeworm'!
Ron, hasn't anyone informed you that Obama is a dictator? Dictators are immune from the constitution.
He copied The NAZI Party to a tee, obtaining power thru elections.
Now the Night of The Long Knives begins.....
If he and his Cadre are not removed, millions will die. It is ALWAYS the same when these Tyrants seize power.
"He copied The NAZI Party..."
Can we stop with the "HE" bullshit.
It's "THEY" .
The Patriot Act was passed weeks after THEY pulled off 911 as just one example. If you think "HE" got there because "HE" won the election you might as well quit now.
"HE" was PUT into the WH because "THEY" knew he would be perfect for what they wanted to do.
Obama is just the Sheriff of Nottingham. He AIN'T the power, Those names are not as common nor anywheres near as visible to the average person.
Think people like Rockefeller or Walburgs or LORD Rothchilds.
We're mistaking the glove for the hand. Get rid of him, "THEY" will just get another Glove for you to vote for.
You are correct.
I have however, taken Bath House as the Representative for this shit, since he likes being on TV.
Point Taken Lake, Carry on...
The most treasonous congress to date voted to surrender their power to FDR by giving him their power to legislate, through executive orders. Its been all downhill since, with every congress compounding the error and the treason by their silent complicity.
Never thought I'd see this state of affairs in my lifetime. I grew up thinking there were checks and balances. Wrong.
I'm getting tired of being afraid of the future.

Boring article, oh my gosh did you guys hear what happened on The Bachelor last night! #swag #Caligula
Well, seems I remember Dr. Paul retired from Congress in 2013 after a couple of decades plus on the government dole.
Why didn't he something in, oh, lets say, 2008-2013.
Hope he's enjoying that magnificient pension with free healthcare and those millions in campaign contributions he and the rest of the bloviating do nothin thieves voted themselves.
@Tortuga
"Why didn't he something in, oh, lets say, 2008-2013?"
You're right. All the thousands of youtubes of floor speeches dating back long before 2008 and probably before you were peeing standing up when NO ONE gave a shit because it was the 90's and everything was swell-yeah, Dr. Paul never did nothing.
Yeah that bill to audit the Fed, the countless books (that I'm SURE you've read), the endless educational speeches on college campuses LONG BEFORE HE EVER RAN for POTUS in 2008-yeah, all of that was just a mirage.
And I guess we can all ignore the "debates" in 2008 and 2012 when he called out The NeoCons throughout history for the wars, the militarism, the debt,...
You're right Dr. Paul is a waste of time.
GO FUCK YOURSELF.
I don't understand your infatuation with having me go fuck myself, it's anatomically impossible anyway, my brother, now he might could, he's really really got one. Anyway,
I'm glad you agree with me, based on what he accomplished, Dr. Paul is a waste of time.
"Hope he's enjoying that magnificient pension with free healthcare and those millions in campaign contributions he and the rest of the bloviating do nothin thieves voted themselves."
Where do you get your information from? Honestly. Read this article (http://web.archive.org/web/20070518101118/http://www.house.gov/paul/pres...) and then explain to me again where your information comes from about this pension.
I'd be astonished if you can prove that he is accepting this lucrative pension you so speak of.
Never let facts stand in the way of an appeal to envy.
Dianne Feinstein, is that you?
And, often he was the lone voice in the wilderness, even in his own party. We saw how quickly the neocon co-opted republican party unceremoniously dismissed him at the last convention. Proof that we really only have one party, and all the red/blue shit is just theater.
1930's Germany also had DUAL GOVERNMENTS, the official, and Hitler s PEROGATIVE GOVERNMENT - Hitler also applied laws retroactively.....
The US is like Germany of the 30's. Asking for a tyrant/fascist.
Bah... come-on.
There's no poverity in the US (not counting the 5% or so of psychotic homeless people). The top 10% (30 million people) are richer than any time in history, the next 30 million (the top 20 - 10%) are doing ok supporting the businesses and government owned by the top 10%. And the bottom 80% have enough bling, sports, near food, and porn to keep them happy forever.
The US is nothing like Germany in the 1930's.
"Ron Paul Rages "Will No One Challenge Obama’s Executive Orders?" "

Like a dog, Obama has to be brought to heel.

If Ron Paul is raging, then Rand Paul needs to step up and organize a revolution RIGHT NOW. Anything else is worthless and theater for the masses. And yes, I said it: ANYTHING else coming from the Pauls is worthless theater designed to fool YOU into believing they are good leaders who are somehow standing against the tyranny of this administration by making a speech and then going home. Want to rip me a new ass for this? Go ahead. But if we're all still talking about this in three weeks and neither Paul has done anything other than go to the mic and complain, then it's time to ignore them both. Because Obama will be three more weeks into his new totalitarian government.
Apart from doing some RP bashing on a blog...
what are you doing?
I was waiting for that response, JC. The fact is, I did not run for Congress and explore the presidency and I did not put myself, nor can I put myself in a position of power where I can influence literally millions of people. The Pauls have, and can. I am not railing agains the Pauls because I dislike them. I am railing against the Pauls because i, probably like you, believe the same things they say and am frustrated as hell that the two biggest names we have supposedly going to bat for us have been doing nothing but complaining. THEY are the leaders. Let THEM do something that involves action. NO MORE TALK. It's time to march. If they refuse to stop talking then yes, it's up to YOU and ME to tell them to move aside and let us take the next step. But at this point, it's time to put pressure on OUR leaders to do something or get the hell out of the way.

first, I didn't junk you. Second, violence is something they have prepared for and may even want. It's bad chess playing.
What needs to happen is something that needs to happen amongst the military and intelligence agencies... those still loyal.
I think 9/11 was the key, but with each passing year it seems more and more clear they're gonna get away with it and the history books will reflect their tale.
Don't think in terms of violence, and clearly politics is useless. Just try to wake people up.
I think a major tax protest could work, but I didn't see either the TP or Occupy trying to get that going. Lobbying states to print their own internal use currency...
The Scottish lost much, even most fo their native cultures and language, Gaelic and Lallan, because the fucking clans were never united enough to repel the English/Normans...
You want to do something, try to foment the idea that the Tea Party and Occupy start talking about their common ground. Peaceful, non-violent, hard for the press to ignore. Massive, non-violent protests might have a shot at getting things headed in a sane direction, but Left and Right and Middle need to stop letting themselves be divided by ancillary issues.
I don't see it happening, unfortunately.
My grandson told me the other day he wanted to be a sniper when he grows up. He watches C-Span to see who the bad people are; God Bless the little Patriot!
The orders only matter if you're passing attention and listening to them. Ignore them.
Ron Paul is every bit as complicit as the rest. He allowed a NON natural born Citizen (born British of a British subject father) to Usurp the Presidency. He is just as guilty of treason. Constitutionalist??!!! Bullshit.
The US being ruled by the Brits would not be the end of the world.
Being ruled by another* country would be.
* They Who Must Not Be Named
We all know, or should know, the backround to Obama's comments about Congress.....they have systematically blocked him at every turn for years and have been derelict in their duty to the people - failing to even consider bills that would have helped with unemployment for partisan reasons. This Congress has been sitting on its hands for years and we all know it. That is why Obama has resorted to saying he will move ahead with or without Congress......and this does. not mean usurping the power of Congress (which we know he cannot do) but has more to do with using his limited powers wherever possible when Congress continues to block legislation just because it can and because it wants to stymie Obama and the Dems.
You are as evil as the abomination in office.
I have been reading posts on Zerohedge for over three years and your comment is the least informed I have ever read.
Or you are retarded.
Wait, take that back, I have met develpmentaly disabled individuals with greater awareness than you.
<< MDB style drollery?
<< Flouride deranged kool-aid chugger?
We report -you decide.
Well, you are a shoo-in for the GOP nomination for sure. When you can't fight the facts, call names and be insulting. fx, you'd make a fine congresstard. Aphids is right about what he says. If the dems had leadership worth the word or a spine, most of the GOP would be in jail. They are a dead party with no agenda who, like all modern day politicians of all parties, are whores sucking K Street dicks. (Yeah, I'm talking about the Pauls too).
But they aren't really the problem, are they? We are, for the simple reason that we allow them to do what they do. If all you can come up with are down-arrows and insults, you really are no better than the stupids in Washington, are ya? How about a real idea, or a little constructive argument? Oops- I forgot. Neocon shifferbrains don't think, they just masturbate.
Thanks Spumoni....debate should be about ideas not the person. I fully respect the ideas/perspectives of everyone on this site and appreciate the opportunity to learn - the personal attacks, not so much.
Congress should not only block his ideas they should entomb them in concrete and bury them. His ideas suck especially Obummercare.

There, fixed it for ya.
"they have systematically blocked him at every turn for years and have been derelict in their duty to the people"
So the function of congress is to carry out Obama's agenda?
"failing to even consider bills that would have helped with unemployment for partisan reasons"
Another government works project is a bad idea. But they should've done it anyway, right? You may disagree but that's the argument you should've used instead of political rhetoric. Lasting jobs come from the private sector not government.
"This Congress has been sitting on its hands for years and we all know it".
Not nearly enough. They certainly should've sat on their hands on a number of occasions through the years. Congress will never make your life whole. That is not their function.
"and this does not mean usurping the power of Congress (which we know he cannot do)".
As you know, saying that we all know he cannot usurp congress is not an argument. Especially today when he usurped congress and the constitution by extending the employer mandate....for the second time. Directly violating the separation of powers...again. It doesn't matter what you think congress should or should not do. Only congress can make or change laws. No grey area, not sorta kinda, not...well, he had to do it because....whatever, it doesn't matter. Forget this administration and think about a future president. Now that the precedence is set coming administrations will be able to expand on this just as executive orders have been expanded completely unconstitutionally for many years. Executive orders were only meant to effect the executive branch in how they operated and not carry the weight of law.
Just patiently sitting back taking names in this breakdown phase of the Rule of Law.
The kicking ass comes later in the anarchy stage, after TPTB lose it.
Keep the black books current.
Because, truly, it is the responsibility of the patriot to disolve a tyranical government, by whatever means necessary, however long it takes.
As I sit and sharpen my cold steel...
Learn how to make Rocket Propelled Grenades. Those will knock out hordes during the Anarchy Phase.
They are relatively cheap and quite deadly.
The IED with a Long Range Delivery System...RPGs...Make some.
Ron Paul is as much scum as the rest for allowing a domestic enemy of the Republic to sit in the WH.
Had you been in his place, you would of guillotined them all, am I right?
No, but he might have guillotined them.
No, but nothing like a little polonium, a suicide hanging, or an IRS forensic to reason with the Zios in their own language. Putin speaks Zio, Ron Paul is a nice guy. America is going to need a quiet patriot backed by a quiet non zio team with means to enter the fray and do that which needs to be done.
Has Boehner started to cry yet? That is his sign of opposition. There will be other signs when the reset comes... like no one living in the major cities except those whom the former left wing Gov't put there.
The most erudite and energetic response to O'Zero's latest ciminal usurpation of congressional legislative authority, will come soon tonight from attorney-talkshow-host MARK LEVIN:

And it is vital to know the basic story of neoconservatism's origins, and to recall the figures who were surrounding Obama from day one.
Its time for America to follow Russia example and root the Zionists out. Or do you want them to give you the full Monty like they did the Russians during and after the Bolshevik revolution before anything is done? Ron Paul is a nice guy and says the right things but to what avail? Fuck with Putin and find out what happens to you. Putin, leader of the Jew free world, Obama, the Jews piss pot, and it will be Americans drinking that piss if this shit keeps going on.
I love Ron Paul!
All branches of the government are almost 99% bankster puppets.
You underestimated? I am shocked.
What about the underlying bureaucracy?
Re: Rakshas: I left in 2005 and am happy as a clam in Southern Chile
Clams are happy living in muck, or so we presume, so not much of a standard.
