Fed Chair Yellen's First Congressional Testimony - Live Feed
We've seen the prepared remarks for both panels:

So this morning's "Monetary Policy and the State of the Economy" (Humphrey-Hawkins) hearing should be a somewhat contentious baptism of fire for Janet as the Q&A starts.

That's what Gregory Meeks praised Yellen for -she was a woman and apparently a member of an 'oppressed minority'.
He even stated that he wants his daughters to grow up to be like her, and then he backtracked by suggesting that's not why he thinks she was the 'right woman for the job' and praised her 'expertise'.
It was one of those moments where you hear something so incredibly stupid that you cannot possibly have any response harsh enough to match the degree of reprimanding it deserves.
"The Market Reaction" is well prepared, MOAR of the same. Another all time high is so close, at least on the Nasdaq. When they "ring the bell" this afternoon, it could be a significant failure...Volume is a joke so far, good day for an afternoon plunge.
