"This Is Not How A Free Society Treats Its Citizens"
Submitted by Simon Black of Sovereign Man blog,
631 people renounced their US citizenship in the 4th quarter of 2013.
This is an entire order of magnitude higher than the 45 people who renounced in 4Q/2012. And in total, 3,000 Americans renounced their citizenship in 2013– another record high.
The previous record (1,777) was set in 2011, which shattered the previous record before that (1,534) which was set in 2010, which was more than twice the number (742) that renounced in 2009.
You can see the trend here. And it’s not hard to figure out why it’s happening.
As the United States Taxpayer Advocate Nina Olsen recently told Congress in her scathing report about US tax policy:
“[T]ax requirements have become so confusing and the compliance burden so great that taxpayers are giving up their U.S. citizenship in record numbers.”
In her report, Ms. Olsen specifically points to the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), which was passed by Congress four years ago. She states that FATCA “has the potential to be burdensome, overly broad, and detrimental to taxpayer rights.”
That’s putting it politely.
I have written several times before that FATCA is one of the most destructive, insidious pieces of legislation ever passed. And the worst effects are only now -starting- to be felt.
Among other things, the law requires new disclosures for US citizens with foreign accounts. And just to make sure it’s absolutely clear how the US government views its tax serfs, they put this little ditty in the instructions:
“The fact that a foreign jurisdiction would impose a civil or criminal penalty on you if you disclose the required information is not reasonable cause [to NOT file this form].”
Basically they’re saying, ‘Even if disclosing this information would cause you to go to jail in a foreign country due to their confidentiality laws, we don’t give a damn. We still expect you to file this form. Otherwise we will throw you in jail in the US.’
(yes, there are potential criminal penalties for not filing this form…)
This isn’t exactly how a free society treats its citizens. It’s a constant threat of force with these people. Even the most mundane, bureaucratic tasks are cause for intimidation.
As I have pointed out so many times before, you can’t even apply for a passport (i.e. permission to leave the country) in the Land of the Free without being threatened with fines and imprisonment.
All of this has come at tremendous cost. Aside from permanent damaging the US government’s reputation and its role in the global banking system, the human cost is nearly incalculable.
Think about it– it’s not the Obamaphone recipients who are renouncing their citizenship and leaving the country. These are smart, talented, energetic people who could have actually contributed something.
And as this productive class gets out of dodge, they leave behind more people who want something for nothing… and fewer people to pay the bill.
It’s the same situation the Romans were in back in the 5th century.
Undoubtedly there are folks out there who would call the thousands of people who have renounced ‘cowards’ and ‘traitors’ (though they are in respected company given that the British considered George Washington a traitor).
But lest we judge ‘renunciants’ poorly, we should first ask– is it more honorable to lay down and let yourself be plundered by a bunch of blundering, bungling, deceitful politicians…?
Doubtful. Besides, divorcing yourself from your bankrupt, insolvent government is not the same as divorcing yourself from your culture or values.
You are who you are no matter what color your passport is.

The ObamaPhone people aren't the top 10% either, but tell that to the dumbasses who rant about "those people" or "government workers" taking all their money.
I can perfectly understand why some of our best are ready to push the "AMF Button" to GTFO.
This is how a free society communicates, built by a good friend of mine:
REYDYO.COM is a free, anonymous way to chat with anyone you want that requires no login, no account or identity, and no registration. It deletes all chats as they take place, stores no data, uses no cookies of any kind, and has no ads, menus, options, or anything else to get in the way. Simple, safe, and open to the public. Until the black helicopters come for me, it is my gift to the world.
I'm not spamming, I've been on ZH since the start, I just figured you folks would enjoy.
Can we give up our citizenship, keep our jobs, pay no taxes, AND collect all the free stuff??
Yes you can. First get a second passport, then renounce, then come back into The US illegally.
Yes, you cross the border illegally and immediately have a baby and apply for all sorts of free stuff. This goes hand in hand with offering to vote Democrat forevermore...more than once in each election, if possible.
They're also the kind of people who vote for Charles Rangel who happens to be the sponsor of FATCA.
Re: Charles Rangel who happens to be the sponsor of FATCA
You mean Charles "the Constitution is just a piece of paper" Rangle? That commie?
Or Charles " FATCA doesn't apply to my vacation home in the Dominican Republic since I don't have to follow the rules I pass" Rangel?
If that piece of shit was standing on the gallows with a rope around his neck, I would pull the lever with glee.
I am working on leaving at this very moment. There is no reason to stay in a place where the government thinks it knows better than the rest of population and is willing to jail them all until it's correct.
IMO none of you that are capable of thinking for yourselves are going to make it out of this alive, leave while you still can. I honestly see this as a set up for Hitler 2 redux edition.

And go where? Which countrys do you like?
Asia is far more promising than here. At least there if you want to get away from government assholes you merely have to move further away.
I live in AZ now, and I am still not far enough away from DC to keep them out of my life. If I move further West I end up surrounded by statists and a state government that has a very large head for itself.
I do not see a future for the US that makes me want to stay here. I would rather give my family a better chance at survival by not bringing them up in such a hostile environment.
Re: Asia is far more promising than here.
Asia?!! Are you planning on moving into the jungle like Marlon Brando in Apocalypse Now ?
WTF? Try to escape an Asian government "round eye". See how long it takes the Asian cops to shake-you-down.
HAHAHAHAHAHAH!
Except I'm Asian asshole. You are the reason people are leaving, because of morons like yourself sir. ;-) Someday you will figure it out.
Then again someday you might get passed that bias and actually go to Asia and see what it's like over there.
Have you considered the Moon?
Lunar real estate in the Aitken Basin, now for only $499,999.99/sq. meter.
Open borders, hot moonbabes, stunning views for upcoming WW3. Get in now!
Land on the moon is free. But you have to homestead it for seven years.
I bet you didn't know that the US owns the moon...

Re: Except I'm Asian asshole.
Great, then you can use your Merican fortune and hide, and perhaps buy some near slaves and tell stories about how Mericans don't work like your near slaves do because Mericans hate freedum, unlike the near slaves who happily know-their-place.
Yeah, freedum is great if you are rich and don't have to pay minimum wage.
Yeah, freedum is great if you are rich and don't have to pay minimum wage.
First Americans do hate freedom.
Next the cost of Freedom is not free.
The price of Freedom is paid in Blood, Sweat, and Tears.
Finally Minimum Wage is a Stealth Tax Increase. (Note that the word "STEAL" is the root of Stealth")
The mechanism is that the percentages of the FICA TAX, THE FUTA TAX and the MEDICARE TAX remains constant, but as wages increase, so do the REVENUES EXTRACTED FROM THE WAGES INCREASE.
FICA, FUTA, and MEDICARE are NOT REFUNDED unlike that of the Federal and State Tax witholdings. Thus the Government INCREASES REVENUES.
Supporting a raise in the Minimum Wage is supporting an INCREASE OF TAX REVENUES for the Government.
It is a STEALth TAX INCREASE.
Governments only pass increases in Minimum Wages when they seek to increase Tax Revenues for themselves.
"I will not raise taxes on those earning less that $200,000" ~ Barack OBAMATM
OBAMATM is such a LIAR.
Re: First Americans do hate freedom.
There's no such thing as freedom when there so many sociopaths and asshole running around.
Government exists for the smart-n-savvy to screw the dumbasses, The same reason corporations exists, and any other large powerful organization exists.
All the "conservatives" on here are just pissed their fantasy from 40+ years ago didn't work out as intented. They forgot that having a big powerful "conservative" state - obsessed with genitals & trrrssss - results in a big powerful "socialist" state.
Oh well, now they want to drowned the smoothering-mommy part of the socialist state in the bath-tub or leave the country and go to.... where? There's no 1st world country on the planet LESS "socialist" than the US. Period, end of story.
I am not claiming that there is a First World Nation which is not Socialist. Third World Nations are Tryannical Dictatorships. (You can escape those Governments for a little while if you can blend in. (A liitle while is the key.)
Emergent Economies are the best bet for escape while they are unstable and there are no guarantees.
Read on about what I wrote below about "Running Away" in another post.
Re: Emergent Economies are the best bet for escape while they are unstable and there are no guarantees.
Yeah, but we're talking about American "conservatives" here. The dynamics are different, the word conservative doesn't even apply to them.
American "conservatives" love Big manly government. They absolutely hate female smothering mommy welfare government. This type of "conservativism" isn't theoretical economic idealogy; it's more like European nationalism but - in this case - directed at specific parts of American society. American "conservatives" love Big-MIC, Big-Road, Big-Water, Big-Airport, Big-PoliceState, Big-AntiDrug because these are all manly programs real men want their government to do. American "conservatives" also like their Big obtrusive government to meddle in how the genitals are used. They love Big-Gov.
So, their definition of "free" really doesn't mean free, it means: the lower forms of human life knowing their place in a society run by "conservatives". "Freedom" for the worthy.
-1; putrid and stupid.
Ur name applies to you, U gutless pos
"There's no 1st world country on the planet LESS 'socialist' than the US"
Bullshit. Switzerland for starters. Monaco and Singapore too. Hell, my taxes as a business owner in Belgium are LOWER than my dad's who owns a business in the people's republic of California.
My bank in Belgium just told me they are getting rid of all Americans due to facta, they kill off my accounts in three months. I've started two successful businesses with them, and we both made money.
Also, this year, due to the wonderful dollar going into the toilet due to a race to the bottom by the fed, I will pay double tax in Belgium and the US. I don't make a dime in the US and have lived in Europe for 12 years, don't even have a US address.
Where is the US not a money grubbing shithole, particularly compared to Switzerland, in this scenario?
Asia is an option...for YOU.
That was a nice retort. But the question remains sadly wanting as your answer was not satisfactory, but snark. Where do people relocate if they are not Asian?
I am of German and Irish descent. Standing at Two Meters I will stick out like a sore thumb in any Nation including the United States.
There will be a lot of Anti-American sentiment when the US Dollar implodes and wipes out the Foreigners' savings (Yes Foreigners actually save capital unlike Americans.) The US Dollar provides substantial Reserves for Foreign Banks. Upon the implosion of the US Dollar those Foreign Banks will become INSOLVENT wiping out the savings of their depositors.
Thus the anger and rage will be directed toward the expatriots, deservedly..or NOT.
Asia may be an option for you as you can blend in. What about your wife? Will she be able to blend in easily? What about your children? Will they be able to blend in? Are they Pure Blood Asian also? Is it all about you?
Now perhaps you want us all to go to Hell. That is such a nice sentiment.
What do you suggest that people whom are not Asian go?
Your snark remark reads as if you are suggesting that we all go to Hell.
Try Australia. I gave up my US passport and came here 8 years ago. Never regretted it. Lots and lots of French, German, US, Canadian, Brits. Everybody just chills, goes to work, goes to the beach. The Lucky Country.
Re: The Lucky Country.
Yeah, but don't they have socialist Obummer care there too? And welfare for "those people"? That's what destroys the "freedom" for the "conservatives".
Is Australia mean enough to be "free"? Can you prove how "free" it really is?
Note: Having a bunch of Libertarian Australian economists doesn't count.
Does he mean the place with real socialized medicine and a carbon tax?
BTW, Obamacare is anything but socialist...
Re: Obamacare is anything but socialist
I know, but nothings more fun than poking people with "conservative" OCD.
Like a cat with a string!
You might have to repeat that several times so that people understand. Obamacare benefits the health insurance companies and robs the poor through medicare by taking their homes through the Omnibus Reconciliation Act of 1993; which is far from being socialist. Though the right of the political spectrum likes to use the word 'socialism' as red herrings. A true socialist program would have democratic control over it where the people have a say in what it does and how it operates.
I'd call Obamacare a fascist program.
Given the intellectual origins of Obamacare, are you really not surprised?
Obama and his ilk never surprise me -they regularly fuck over a nation under the guise of hope and change like every other politician.
Fascism in America took over 100 years to grow into what we see today, but it will take one hour for all of it to come crashing down.
"Obamacare robs the poor through medicare by taking their homes through the Omnibus Reconciliation Act of 1993?"
Please, a good portion of the poor have Section 8 rental housing or rental vouchers which are all paid for by taxpayers. That is socialism!
Sylvia, I was addressing Obamacare, not Obama.
Obama may have some socialist ideas (as no one person is purely on one side of the political spectrum), but he is a fascist for the most part.
Double post; my mistake.
You forgot the "..lots of Mohhameds too from Pakistan and Indonesia..."
Running away does not solve problems. You take yourself with you.
The point which I am making is that there is no place to go.
You take a stand and you fight. (Or perhaps I will fight.)
If I were calculating odds then it does not look so good. But you don't fight based upon your odds of success. You fight because your principles are moral and just. If you do not prevail then you still have put up a resistance to Tyranny.
I will die for what I believe if necessary. I will die for my principles if necessary. I am a zealot when it comes right down to it. I have a zeal for that which I believe.
Will you compromise your principles in order to survive another day? That is what the malevolent narcissistic psychopaths count on. One serves their purposes when they compromise their core principles. That is how the psychopaths continue to be empowered to rule.
Principles over profits.
Principles over gain.
Principles over survival if necessary
You must be true to yourself before you can hope to be true to others.
I'm planning to leave and I have thought about it very carefully.
Thinking about it very carefully is the proper thing to do. Where and with whom you live your one life deserves carefull thought. I left USSA 25 years ago. It takes a particular kind of personality to engage another culture on their turf.
But after all is said and done, it is a very interesting way to live.
Isn't "interesting" a curse?
Lol - "interesting times" are not my reference (Chinese proverb?). But to expand on my thinking; truly interesting living does not exist in a foreign country's expat community. I personnally do not like the expats from my culture of origin. They're clique-ish, arrogant and, for the most part, unproductive alcoholics.
Australia is even further along the police state progression than the US. Fuck that place.
Yes it is worse. In fact I went to Australia to have a look around. Not just to have fun but study it for emigration. What a huge disappointment. If you're of the opinion that Americans are way too stupid on important issues and overly focused on professional sports, wait until you get to Australia. Shit the Aussies are 10x more emphatic about sports. Then it's super dry, just a big dry rock. I saw very little natural beauty aside from the city of Sydney. As for cops, you are right. They even have a tv show where they film cops just setting up roadblocks and harassing people. And if you read what some experts are saying, Australia is far more socialist than USA. It's much worse than USA in every respect. Even the women, high percentage of FUGLY women.
Been to Australia. Your comments are true if you spent time in Sydney and Melbourne, you could have saved yourself some time and money and gone to Chicago or Boston, or some other large city in US (granted, Sydney and Melbourne have a lot less of a black population element). Sydney and Melbourne, and Brisbane, to a lesser extent, are busy urban places with tons of people, traffic, rat race. True about sports, too - I have never seen so many different kinds of sports on TV at the same time - they even have some crazy Gaelic football, and lawn bowls.
But real Australia starts outside of this concrete jungle. Rural NSW and rural Victoria are quite nice, albeit summers are hot and lots of devastating fires. Northern Territories are living to their own rhytm, and Western Australia is outright beautiful, and if you travel 30 minutes outside of Perth, you are not going to hit anoter large city in forever.
Cops - only had one run in with them in Oz, random alcohol test on the road, polite as can be, no super macho BS, please, thank you, that's it. Last time I had a run in with cops in US, we had 9 police cars with guns drawn and interrogated for 45 minutes because we left a certain night club in Miami area and they suspected we were involved in something bad based on that fact alone. After 45 minutes, all 6 of us in the van were free to go.
New Zealand is another great place. Hell, in the South Island, there are like 500,000 people spread out, and you can drive for a long time without seing a soul. Kinda like Wyoming, only greener. Earthquakes are a bitch, though, and economy was not so good last time I was there, but I hear it is picking up.
I actually up arrowed you for taking initiative to explore the world to try to find a better place for you and yours, even if you decide to stay put, it would be an informed decision.
And oh, on the Australian women. True, but at least they try to be skinny and fit for the most part :) Or bring your own. Actually, lots of student travellers from all over the world in capital cities, so if you got game, there is fish.
Edited for missed letters - guess need a new keyboard, spilled too much beverages on this through my nose reading some of ZH comments.
We had the roughly the same impression with Australia but we enjoyed our visit. We did go to the north island of New Zealand and absolutely loved it. We stayed on a farm for a week. Our host gave us raw milk from his cows and fresh eggs. During the night we were awoken a few times by some animals in the trees and mentioned it to the farmer. He brought us a shot gun. "If the possums bother you again call my possum dog, he'll point you to the correct tree and you can shoot them with this. I looked at mr miffed with jaw dropped. He said " I think we need to look into moving here!"
The next day we took a walk on the beach and noticed a bunch of naked people frolicking in the water. I asked a woman walking her dog " Is this a nude beach?" She laughed. "Oh, that just the Germans. They like to do that. " So, no one will be arrested swimming nude?" She cocked her head and said " Just do what ever you want, naked or not, no one cares" she walked away and we just looked at each other stupidly. We got a little farther and saw a man fishing. His friend had hauled in a fish. I asked where we could get a fishing license. He looked at me. " What do you mean? I'll tell you where to rent some equipment. There's no license required"
When we got back we mentioned to our host how astounded we were about the freedoms we encountered. He said "Wait a minute. I though you were from the USA. The home of the free and the brave." When we told him what the USA had become he was quite shocked. Then he invited us up to sample the fruit liqueur he had distilled.
That was one of the most fun vacations we had ever taken and it was sad to find we could not emigrate there because we were over 50.
Miffed;-)
Hey, who let Miffed in here! Fucking troublemaking riff-raff she is. Quick, somebody send her a petri dish full of donkey junk and tell her its alien spooge. She'll be looking at that shit through a microscope until the Kennedy assasination is solved by Alex Jones.
... is she still here...? I'm hiding from her wrath now.
You still love me Miffed???
Oh, I love you my dear Angus. Hey, if some scary microbe hasn't killed me yet what do I have to fear from you frothy cantankerous boys. Spent all day looking at shit under a microscope and you couldn't seduce me to look at one more slide. I often dream about running away, joining the circus and being free! Of course, I'd probably be just shoveling shit again like before. So when are the next shiny adventures planned?
Miffed;-)
Late reply Miffed: Still too cold to even think about the next adventure. Also have some issues I have to decide. The old truck required some repairs recently but it's so old now I can't even get aftermarket engine parts. I spent several days in the junk yard getting replacements the past couple of months and worked on it when it wasn't -30 (which wasn't often). Even the junk yard parts had to be taken off slightly "newer" trucks (mine is a 1988). Couldn't find anything older than 1991 at the junk yard.
I'm leaning towrds putting a newer used engine in but have to research it to make sure a newer engine would fit properly with the existing tranny and other stuff. If parts were still available for the old engine I would like to keep it but I don't want to be out in the bush and have a minor issue that requires a part that is no longer made.
Oh well...
Sounds like heaven to me. Someone coined the term "The Permission State" and that pretty well describes the USA.
Hey I am a merikun. What in the hell is a meter?
Yeah, I wondered why he used SI units, too. It means he's 6', 6-3/4". Pretty tall. Too tall to blend in, anywhere in Asia.
feeling the blowback of being a stranger in paradise lost.
"My American dream goes sour like stale milk." -- The Indians know how to use sour milk.
BTW take your Von Mises bible where ever you go. You'll need Obscurantism of new type to enlighten you.
You ought to get out more. There is a world out there that is very different from the one you've been indoctrinated.
It's only "promising" if you think two-society, NATO-defined Second/Third World hellholes are "promising".
The government's only worse over there, even after controlling for culture.
The Philippines is one of the easiest and best places to immigrate. The only requirement is keeping $10,000 security deposit in a Philippine bank. This allows you to live, work, and own property in the Philippines. The only thing you can't do is vote or engage in politics. You may also take your $10,000 security deposit if you leave the country. The government will only take your security deposit in the case you commit a serious crime. That money is used to imprison and then deport you if you are found guilty of a serious crime. I lived in the Philippines for two years and had planed to retire there. My plans changed several years later. If I had known then what I know now I would be living in the Philippines today.
Yeah, the Phillippines. One of the most "free" societies on the planet.
So, how about a ZH definition of this "freedom" concept?
So far, we've got socialist Norway is more "free", the jungles of Asia is more "free", and the Philippines is more "free"; and maybe Russia is more "free" because if you happen to be a billioniare you don't have to pay taxes.
Seems to be some - uh - confusion about what "freedum" is.
freedom from having gun-toting neighbors?
That would be the moon.
Freud was batshit crazy but I've always like this quote.
"Most people do not really want freedom, because freedom involves responsibility, and most people are frightened of responsibility."
Sigmund FreudGreat quote.
One which you'll never see tattoo'd on some chicks arm though.
Whatever happened to stand up and fight instead of running away like a little chickenshit
NOTaREALmerican: Picture this... there are no borders... you were born on this earth and it entitles you to go wherever you wish.
Now exercise your human rights, be willing to die for them, or forever be fucked by the governments that bend you over.
Almost forgot... go bring more children into this so the State has a fresh batch of recruits for their "schools" while you and the wife take on jobs that promise you HUGE retirement bennies and other skittle/unicorn stuff.
Fuck, if you can't live without assistance in some way then you WILL NOT SURVIVE!... and you are a SLAVE!
You should have mentioned the cheaper ways to play the Visa game in the Philippines. I know guys that just leave the country once a year to stay legal.
I am a US citizen in the Philippines on vacation now. I have been here many times and plan on retiring here with my Filipina wife. The government is corrupt but it is small. There are not cops everywhere you go. Being old is respected. Almost everyone speaks some english. There are expat communities here or you can go to places/islands and be totally native. There are mountain cities where it never gets above 80F. Guns can be had. But you had better bring your fortune with you because you will not be able to make it here. It is the third world with third world problems and I don't like their food but others might. But as I see it if you want to be free you have to go to the third world. The first world nations are all going NWO, criminal, commie, fascist. America has been conquered by foreign bankers I am sad to say.
The number of people giving up their citizenship would be much, much higher if it were easier to do.
Uruguay is nice, friendly, politically stable and relativly cheap with a sizable American ex-pat commumity.
I speak Spanish. Went to Uruguay.
Gringos are seen in Uruguay as cash cows. Everyone smiles to the albino gringo just to get his cash.
The same shit happens in Chile too.
But Uruguay/Chile are safe in the sense they are not Caracas-like plagued with violence.
But for example in Montevideo, lack of Spanish and looking like a Gringo paints an invisible "I have dollars, lots of dollars in my pocket, rape me, I'm American".
Chile is a tad better than Uruguay.
Your take is 100% correct. Nonetheless once you know the score you should be able to manage it. Both countries had military dictatorships in the recent past but you can live like a king there with an American/Western European income.
The objective is not to live like a king.
The objective is to mingle with the locals and be one of them.
The objective is to look like one of them
The objective is to be stealthy from the Obamator drones looking for you.
Yep. To me, that's the whole point. If I'm gonna sell all of my shit, pack up my family and leave the US forever, I'm going to become a citizen in my new country, make it my home, integrate into the culture as well as possible. Uruguay sounds good to me as a gringo. At least if I dress like the locals and keep my trap shut, I won't stand out. Very important should the shit ever hit the fan, and probably will.
Unless you are a native Spanish speaker with a dark complexion, you will AWAYS stand out. Even then, if you don't have the local accent, they will always know you are a foreigner. I laugh when people think that they can go to South America and "blend in". There is no chance of that. They will never accept you in that way. Maybe after 30 years... but if you think the next 10 are going to be you being part of their culture. Think Again.
Source: 3 years living in Chile.
Uruguay is mostly white.
Spanish mixed with Italians.
Argentina, only more stable economically.
And more mature.
Umm....Uruguay is 88% white, and I tan quite well. It will be obvious that I'm not a native Spanish-speaker, that 's where keeping yer trap shut comes into play. I'm not stupid enough to conduct myself like a vacationing gringo. Also, no matter what country I end up in, I will not ever live in a big city.
One thing I'm not hot about is that they have socialized medicine.
DYS: You speak much truth. Reality is a bitch and she bites hard.
Uruguay is great but not to create colonies of gringos.
In Spain in Costa del Sol area, there are british folks who almost not one of them speak any Spanish, who were sold overpriced villas, who only mingle with the locals once a week a couple of hours when they go to buy groceries from the village stores.
These people are known as guiris. Spaniards sell them overpriced shit, smile and laugh at them.
The key is to really mingle with the locals, not be afraid of them, speak the language, so at least you appear to be one of them.
Agree with that last statement especially. Acting like a vacationing gringo, and treating the natives as underlings is bad juju. Every time I've been Mexico (which isn't since a passport is now required), I always speak Spanish as much as possible, don't flash $, and don't act superior. I've always gotten along well.
But I'll admit there are some invisible places in Uruguay.
Atlantida is one of them. You can live modestly but decently there and be stealthy. Good command of Spanish is a must.
The Chilean Patagonia, places like Rio Bueno are good areas/towns to disappear and live decently. Spanish always a must.
.
Regretts but also a loss for words hearing in this last scene your misfortunous travels on Montevideo. A question hangs: peoples there did raping you how oftenly?
I speak Spanish.
I'm Romanian. The uruguayos treated me like a Latin brother. Also I don't look American.
Me and my Uruguyan friends were doing the raping to dumb United Statean chicks. Well, more like your bitches are so easy, it's not even funny.
So apparently, you're capable of being stupid as fuck en tres lenguas.
Mea culpa. I'll admit.
Fucking an American chick is stupid, even when she asks it. That's one experience I hope I'll never have to go through. Fucking that American bitch felt like she was raping me.
No wonder American men want out of USSA. It's the bitchezzz!
I'll stick to Argentinian, Romanian, Croatian, Spanish chicks.
I agree with you about the American women. Canadian broads are no different. Not in the least.
Saw a book today on the shelf in a bookstore. Called America the new "Matriarchy".
Stooge: Shall we feed this one or go full retard on him?
A sure win in confusion land.
Maybe a country that doesn't have NDAA or wedding party bombing drones prowling the skies. And maybe one that doesn't have just one, but two, gulag archipelagoes stretching from Cuba to Egypt and from California to Maine.
But most importantly, one that isn't deluded with "land of the free, home of the brave" bullshit.
"Tyranny maintains the lie. Kill the lie, kill tyranny."
Yeah we are all worked up about the psychos in Gitmo. It's such huge trend of global social impact, those 100 or whatever psychos locked up down there. Gotta get the hell out of the USA because of that one thing.
I am sympathetic to your views. But, if you do not have money and have not spent AT LEAST EIGHT WEEKS (prefreably much more) in your candidate country then I would not do something you might regret.
You would need to know/learn the language, eat the food and accept the different culture.
It is hard to move to another country and be happy...
Dude, I have travelled the world already and between my wife and I we speak more than enough languages to be fine. I have been planning this for over a decade now.
My own happiness comes after the safety and security of my family. The US is falling apart and it doesn't take a genius to drive around and see the citizenry to understand why.

Troll gypsy
so amigo you support Barca or Real ?
That's the only question that counts in Amigo land.
In France the choice is Burgundy or Bordo ! Much more peaceful.
I support Deportivo La Coruña just because I like the gallegos.
Fuck Madrid and Barca which are way over in debt. Everyone can play quality football when you spend billions on it.
I watch the ball not the money line on the pitch.
But to each his own.
Prove it blows cocks?
heh heh heh.
That's why I used those expression since Google Translate will not translate correctly.
Sopla pollas in Spanish means cocksucker. Chupa pollas would also be valid.
Sugator de puli in Romanian is sucker of cocks, in other words cocksucker.
Chupaverga is the mythical creature who sneaks into your room at night and sucks yer cock.
Hahaha!!!!! Too fucking funny! Watch out for those canines though!
NS this shit is going on every fucking where.Good luck but eventually some cunt gunna have to take a stand
Agreed - family first...
Any thoughts on Canada?
Anyone? Bueller?
It's not that it's falling apart, but that they know it is and put together NDAA as a response.
Next time you see that gun and badge thug in your rearview, remember he is a soldier prosecuting a civil war against you--you are his and their enemy.
"Forget their oath, alienating people of their right to Life for demanding their rights to Liberty is reprehensible."
he could move to europe :)
We're not totalitarian and hate violence. the only thing we do is take your money in taxes.
But on the bright side, the food is great, everybody speaks english and english natives find jobs real fast and every stone has a history!
I think there are many Euro tourists that disagree with the non-violence part, but my experience has only been a short stay in Austria and Germany.
When I was in Germany the French were rioting and burning cars.
Re: When I was in Germany the French were rioting and burning cars.
They were protesting the government. It's something people on here "say" they want to do, but I think sports all gets in the way on the schedule.
Perhaps the rioters are more "freedum" loving than fat lazy OldFart Tea Partiers leaching off of SS welfare?
That was the "French" burning cars. 2nd and 3rd generation north Africans who use the word "francais" as an insult.
Yeah, the French have "those people" too.
Yes, and news flash for those who imagine greener pastures for their own children in France or most any European country, these immigrants are outbreeding the natives by a long shot. France is the only large European country with birthrates that would prevent demographic collapse, to which neighboring counties are spectacularly per-fucked to undergo, BUT that's because of high birth rates among their non-integrating north African derived lovelies.
When I was in Germany the French were rioting and burning cars.
Incorrect. The FRENCH were not doing that. It was done, and gets done every few weeks, by Arabian/African freeloaders havin' fun.
They are nevertheless citizens of France, generally born there and brought up through the French government schools.
It wasn't the French rioting and burning cars, it was the MUSLIMS who immigrated to France doing the rioting and burning of cars.
Re: We're not totalitarian and hate violence. the only thing we do is take your money in taxes.
That's an Merican "conservative's" definition of liberal pansy.
If you take tax money and give it to anybody to help then you are a pansy. If you take tax money to bomb them then you are a REAL "conservative".
This thread is too funny. We've got "conservatives" heading off the jungles of Asia and the mountains of "commy Europe" Norway to escape "socialism" in the USA!
You can't make this up....
FU
If everybody speaks English, how the hell did I find the only town in all of Europe where no one speaks English... and in Switzerland of all places- where English is the unofficial fifth official language?
Too bad we just voted (apparently) to go to war with Brussels, I really could use some good food right about now... But if EUropeans hate violence so much, why the overreaction to Swiss self-determination and democracy and EUroFascist leaders threatening to try to conquer the Mountain Gnomes (again!) and implementing the same sort of peasant pilfering practices that gave rise to the original Bank Secrecy law in 1930's to protect EUroSlaves from their EUroFascist overlords.
He could move to Europe, but he just as well could be insane.
The future of "Europe" will likely rhyme with its past. Every stone there has a -bloody- -tyrannical- history. Authoritarian government atop nationalist and sectarian anger is on its way, thanks to the less than zero sum game of declining population and socialism eating everything.
Re: Authoritarian government atop nationalist and sectarian anger is on its way
This is a thread about leaving the glorious USA because of those reasons. We just can't decide to go to freedum loving Asia, socialist Norway, or socialist Australia.
It seems the "conservatives" just can't escape "socialism".
No Australia more fascist Murdoch controls the media big mining corporations and a jackboot fucken government and a herd of sheep that passes for a population
Things will be less bad here in the USA
I'm joining you.
More power to you brother if that is your choice to leave. As for me, my grandfather fought Hilter 1.0 in WWII. I will stay and fight/die for the freedom of my children against our own version of Hilter here. It will only take III% of us to fight to keep this country free as it did 200 some odd years ago.
Then you would not want to be outside the US, much less an English-speaking First World country.
Read Kemperer's diary, Whitness.

A wealthy investor friend of mine is preparing to do the same. He has been audited ever since he made sizeable donations to conservative causes. This is not theory or second hand hearsay, it is his reality. He is a trader and the trading and tax rules are so complex you can audit forever.
In fact, every single conservative-libertarian friend of mine has had tax challenges the last four or five years. They are from the state and feds.
IMO the government has become self-aware just like the sci-fi movies you see. They actually realize their immense power and they have cover from Eric Himmler Holder and Barack Il Duce' Obama. Besides appointing patently partisan corrupt cronies, no government employee is going to risk their salary, benefits and pension for some nebulous idea of liberty to save you. Snowden is a statistical anomaly.
Look at the issue obliquely. In a Federal government of millions there are essentially ZERO reports of corruption. So, in a powerful, intrusive, omnipresent government no one is abusing their power? Do you believe that? We find out about scandals indirectly, by accident and through backtracking some of the effects.
While I believe the USA has been relatively low on the corruption scale in history (because of our culture) it has the most sophisticated interconnected systems in the world. Once the slim barrier of morality and personal honor is breached we have the best potential for soft oppression since the days of Stazi and KGB. I suspect not one thing we do, say or write electronically cannot be found. Apart from that, our IRS code forces the reporting of our entire lives to the government. Try TurboTax and valuing the used socks you donate to Goodwill.
We live in a permission society, now. Try to name anything of public consequence that you can do without government documents or permission. Drive, trade, marry, buy, sell, travel, move money, etc. it all requires permission and official documentation. If you are an illegal alien, however, the Democrat (Socialist) party will demand no documentation.
The bottom line is that without firing a shot...without any single piece of legislation...without a Constitutional Amendment...without your consent...you have become the property of the U.S. Government. You, your property, your earnings are the legal province of your government and subject to seizure or at least control by your "free" government.
I think you summed it up very succinctly with this:
" IMO the government has become self-aware just like the sci-fi movies you see. They actually realize their immense power and they have cover from Eric Himmler Holder and Barack Il Duce' Obama. "
Who said we have a free society anymore?
Re: Who said we have a free society anymore?
No society is "free". There are too many assholes.
Which country is the most "free"?
How's Norway looking? Anyone have a perspective from there?
WFT? Norway. These goddamn european commies invented Obamacare?!?!?
Their "conservatives" make Obumer look like a bald Australian Economist with a German name.
What exactly is your guys definition of socialism> The US is the MOST cut-throat survival-of-the-fittest asshole based society on the planet and you want to move to fucking Norway to escape Obummer and the commies?!?!?!
I guess you must like taxes then.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
These fuckers are all wannabe pretend "patriots" and conservatives etc..etc..
JackBurton-I'm-in-love-with-putin says he considered Sweden as a nice place. Sweden, where you pay 40% of your gross income as tax.
The Scandinavians are the biggest socialist in Europe.
If you want low taxes go to Ireland or Eastern Europe.
Bulgaria has a flat tax of just 10% for persons/companies.
Romania has a flat tax of 16% for persons/companies.
Re: These fuckers are all wannabe pretend "patriots" and conservatives etc..etc..
I think they want luxury "free" societies. Someplace they can be "free" without worrying about the lower life forms being "free".
That seals it! Bulgaria, it is. Birthplace of ZH!
The only tax the Government needs is a consumption tax on purchases. Every other tax can and should be repealed, along with the million mindless drones it ends up "employing".
It's an idea for the inevitable Constiutional Convention where US Consitution 2.0 will be born taking place sometime after the Grand Collapse.
The federal government used to run on import duties and that's about it. Don't let some central authority track/be authorized to audit every fucking purchase we make, please. Run it back inside the beltway and downsize it to a state of respect and fear of state and local.
Re: Run it back inside the beltway and downsize it to a state of respect and fear of state and local.
The top 20%, who already own and operate the government, will be getting right on that idea - which doesn't help them one bit.
The top 20% get allot of benefit from the system as it is right now. Did you notice that? Nothing is going to change until the "conservatives" figure out what they need to do to get control of the government back FROM the top 20%.
Um, uniform distribution of political power and every other damn thing is the root of much evil. In case you hadn't noticed, we are not meant to be a pure democracy. We are also not meant to be radically egalitarian, except in the rights to be left alone by govt, have our person and OUR property secure, practice our rights, and enjoy liberty. it is entirely normal, if you will excuse the statistical pun, that the upper end of the bell curve be more influential. The US Senate and electoral college were designed that way (originally) for good and excellent reasons. Radical egalitarian and hyper democratic demagogy set us on this route to servitude, not the quite natural distribution of outcomes you seem exercised by.
Norway is sunk in multicultural nirvana more than most of scandinavia. Oslo is over-run with Pakistanis and Ayrabs. With your moniker you might have some problems, ungrateful or not.

Of course. The tax structure is all about controlling you and being able to control you, the secondary affect being revenue raised. They really don't revenue when they can print their own money.
(Mis)using the revenue services like this is SOP for the Third World. Both Holder and his boss come from there so no surprise really.
You haven't seen anything yet. Wait until the US starts raising taxes. You have a debt (100% of gdp) to deal with.
Russia has a flat tax. The communist socialist hell hole of Russia has a flat tax. No unemployment compensation. No food stamps. And welfare payments as we know them here in the American go go capitalist white hot competitive economy, do not exist. In Russia, even paying your taxes is optional if you are a high income earner, as foreign accounts will keep your money safe from Putin's communist tax collectors.
America is number one in health care.
Number one in education
Number one in science
number one in prosperity
and the only nation where one can better oneself.
Just because the tax code is a little bit complicated is no reason to leave. Anyways, the places one would like to go will probably not let you in. In my case I would prefer to move to New Zealand, Sweden or Australia. Looking into immigration, I have found non wil take me, even if I have all the income I need without needing to take a job there. Being white, I am considered not elligable for entry. Same in the UK, which is my last resort place, Scotland in particular. Were I black African, my chances for Sweden would be excellent, as I speak the language, have family there, and need not take a job unless I want to.
