Meanwhile In Hawaii... Your Taxpayer Dollars Hard At Work

Tyler Durden's picture

Presented with no comment...

Those curious how the TSA "trains" are encouraged to read Politico's, "Dear America, I Saw You Naked - And yes, we were laughing. Confessions of an ex-TSA agent."  It uncovers more or less everything.

And in case you thought it was Sundays... here is today's taxpayer dollars hard at work...

Because nothing says "efficiency" like this...

There are like 25 TSA agents at Kona-Kailua.  The airport is tiny.  I practically got strip searched there BEFORE they were doing the full pat downs.  I was wearing a t-shirt, flip flops, and some REI shorts.  There is no work on Kona, so people take what little work there is, quite seriously.

Shame on ZH; you forgot to post the agenda of the meeting:

1.  How to recognize kiddie porn; 3 hour video presentation.

2.  When a sticky finger can lead to personal fullfillment.

3.  How to get a phoney ID

4.  Items that can be easily pawned with  your fake ID

5.  The "new" Constitution and how it affects you.

Fukushima was definitely a nuclear type explosion, called a moderated prompt criticality. Basically it consists of a runaway nuetron chain reaction, which get completely out of control very fast, releasing massive amounts of heat which greatly expand surrounding air and gases, and causing water to flash to superheated steam. Call it a steam explosion if you wish, but it is really more than just that. More proof is here, spread the word. http://nukeprofessional.blogspot.com/2013/12/fukushima-was-nuclear-explosion-here-is.html

Yes, very, and it was NOT a "nuclear type explosion." The incident was horrific in many ways, but if you want to maintain credibility, you must be credible.

Its called a moderated prompt criticality, and if you look at the data, there can be no other conclusion.

You been lied to for decades, yes civilian reactors can blow up in a nuclear chain reaction

That's the truly scary part of 'societal melt-down'.

Who's going to stop the more than 400 nuke plants melting down when TSHTF?

Nuclear power = end of (many) species event.

Maybe that's why we haven't seen (credibly) visitors - they all invented nukes and offed 'emselves before they could go anywhere else.

I doubt humans will break the mold.

I counted 28 TSA agents at the single security checkpoint at the Akron/Canton airport in OH with about 20 travelers in line. Chances of an extended groping session 100%.

Just like highway construction work, one guy is standing holding a sign, six guys are drinking coffee behind him, two other guys sitting down are asleep, two guys are actually working doing the minimum they need to get paid, the others are wandering around aimlessly but it looks like they are doing something, and the boss is talking on his cell phone.

True, but at about 1/5th the pace any reasonable truly private company could do it and for 5x the cost.  Of course even when the contracts are dolled out there is no oversight, so it's effectively the same as paying dot.gov employees anyway (and often costlier).

Going thru customs last summer, some Affrimative Action employees of the TSA stole 2 ounces of gold from me. Then they told me to prove it when I checked my luggage later. I'd love to put a bullet in the bastards that did it. Fuck the TSA!

But tell me one agency in government that isn't full of wothless Affirmative Action employees that isn't completely fucked up. The TSA, VA, Post Office, etc... All Affirmative Action is is a government program that gives welfare jobs to worthless minorities that couldn't get a job any other way!

I've worked plenty of jobs mostly private and one public sector where there were huge numbers of worthless Affirmative Action slugs, loud, obnoxious and un-firable.  And yes, I still support sterilization as well as "back-to-Liberia" programs for the vast majority of Affirmative Action cretins.  The one out of a thousand gems can stay, but who gets to vouch for who?

Why is TSA necessary?  It provides another layer of encroachment into our freedom by indoctrinating tens of thousands of citizens to become "camp guards", callable at will to help quell future disturbances.  It all about securing the homeland from ourselves.  By continuing to stir up hate and unrest around the world, there will be a never-ending supply of "terrorists" to protect us from.

They should be careful, pretty soon NOBODY will believe "they hate us for our freedom".

As long as we are having fun, I searched on my companies federal, state and local procurement archive database for the nation service that my company pays for yearly to search for contracts.  Here is what I found for some random humorous governemntal purchases.  Over the last 6 years the US federal, state and local combined contracts for 'lipstick' was 1.2 million dollars, cookies was 493 million dollars (yes correct), 419 million for flowers (stranely New York was highest, 7.5 million for pantyhose, 206 million for socks (for feet), and my favorite was 3.5 million dollars for dental floss.  THis database is more complete than the standard free to play with federal site www.fedbizops.com .  Still the scope of money spent is unimaginable.  Oh, I forgot 85 million dollars for chocolate contracts.

In 2002 while returning with rifles from a South Africa hunting trip at the Atlanta airport I comitted a faux pas.  While waiting in customs to have my weapons inspected i remembered I forgot to remove a bolt from one of my rifles.  I was next in line and the case was on a counter in front of me and I had unlocked it with the lid unlocked but not lifted per directions.  I reached in under the lid to pull the trigger and discreetly remove the bolt.  My God,  the agent saw me and I thought SWAT team hell was going to be unleashed.  I apologized profusely as I told him what I was doing.  He yelled for me to remove my hand from the guncase and I did so.  He mellowed out pretty quickly after that but I had dozens of eyes on me for sure.  I will only travel by air is someday I do my cape buffalo hunt for without dreams we die.  Other than that I drive any more.  Flying isn't worth the hassles.  I just recently drove Chicago DC area and back for Thanksgiving.  Nice drive.  No weather problems.  Tolls a bit pricey but well kept highways.  Don't get me going on tolls as I thought we paid 43 cents a gallon on gasoline to the Feds for our highways but I digress,,,,, good night to all.

Let's see, we have 17 trillion in debt, and 100 plus trillion in unfunded liabilities yet the GED grads at the TSA get a tax payer funded bs training trip to paradise. Corruption stories like this are truly sickening.

It's unlikely that the agents you see at the airport are living it up in Hawaii. Those kinds of trips are reserved for the big shots, not the great unwashed.

Just like Obama played three rounds of golf in the CA desert right after speaking to the folks in Frensno where a huge portion of our fruits and veggies used to be grown, but now the government has cut off most of their water.

The golf courses use 4 times as much water as a normal golf course.

The politicians have no money to provide for the unemployed but have unlimited taxpayers money to splurge in Hawaii. They also have billions of dollars, 65 to be precise, every month to hand over to their buddy bankers to speculate in and manipulate all the electronic exchanges and use that money to pay huge bonus to James Dimon.

It is not in the interest of any elected politician to work for the benefit of the majority of the population. The bottom 98% of the population do not fund the election campaigns of the candidates nor do they provide them jobs with obscene salaries once they leave the positions of power like Timmy boy. So why would the politicians waste their time working for the middle class and the poor from whom they do not derive any personal benefit? The only activity they do is pacify the majority of the population using false statistics and promises of a better future so that they do not lynch them and their sponsors while they are robbing the taxpayers.
