The Myra was designed for the government to have access to low income people's money.

If you all were paying attention, you would know that once these proposed retirement accounts hit $15,000, the account holder is then forced into a Roth IRA and into the arms of Wall Street.

Well we wouldn't have to do this if the TeaParty hadn't prevented a federal retirement plan you couldn't opt out of. If we had a "Social Security" program, why, people would be able to retire comfortably!
But thanks to the Tea Party, literally no one has ever been able to contribute to a retirement plan, and I bet you that if the Tea Party ever did agree to some sort of "Socialized Security" all they'd end up doing is spending that money on tanks and bombs and replacing the cash with more government debt - essentially forcing people to contribute additional taxes to cover the payroll taxes which were spent as general revenue.

Anyway this program is "optional" insofar as you, the worker, may not be compelled yourself to contribute a large portion of your savings to buying federal debt bonds, your pension or other retirement plan will be compelled for you. You, however, may still be compelled under the Commerce Clause to buy broccolli [but don't worry, Justice Kagan Herself has said this would be a "silly law" and Larry Tribe assures us that they couldn't actually make you eat it.]
This is packaged extremely well. It's going to help the poors, the minorities and the childrens, so of course only racist tea dildos could oppose it... of course, reducing or eliminating state sales tax and imposing a higher capital gains rate and tax on deriviative financial transactions would actually help them retain more of their own cash, but then, that is manifestly not the goal. The goal is cash flow for the feds both now, and in the future, as govt debt at current rates is significantly below the erosion of purchasing power of the dollar, so in real terms, these poors will be giving the feds a dollar now to get back 90 cents in a decade.
