We are sure the President knows best as he addresses the National Governors Association this morning. Having explained to them all that he wants to "partner" with each governor, his week of action continues... “If there’s one thing in common in the moments like these, it’s that our cooperation is vital to make sure that we’re doing right by the American people,” Obama said. “That of course will require that we collectively take action on what matters to them — jobs and opportunity.”

Wow it's coming nmewn. Long time manager suddenly quit last month. We were stunned. He refused a party, packed up his office at night and was gone the next morning. Last week we were introduced to Dragon Lady. She laid out individual productivity and dept goals to be displayed publicly. Anyone not meeting these will be demoted and docked 8%. Most are walking around in a daze. This hospital has never had this before. I've had this experience so know what we are in for. She's promoting fighting among us to expose the weak who will be culled. Sheeple are running around the holding pen bleating now. Very sad to watch but this is only the beginning. Though I'm nimble and awake there's not much hope for me but try not to be stampeded by my work associates.

Never would happen. She follows me around with an insipid smile trying to engage me on what I am doing. I am impassive because it is in my interest not to let her know I understand what she is. The knowledge, that at some point, we will all be standing in bread lines due to the "activities" of football fucking monkeys occupying seats of government, has been comforting. Not because it will be painful, but because it is empowering.
The irony here, seems to be that voluntary unemployment by producers may be the only peaceful path away from bread lines caused by the football fornicators.

Sign of bad senior management. Bad leadership loves sociopaths because they tell them what they want to hear and have the unique ability to do uncomfortable things with what appears to be efficiency. Management in such cases simply does not understand that it is akin to poisioning the waterhole. Last time I saw this happen I quit. Actually took a minor pay cut to get out. Less than 12 months later the company I left did not exist. lol.

I have several Dr friends who have quit the hospitals they were working with. One, an ER doc, has opened her own weight loss clinic and the other a cardiac surgeon has allied himself with a small private same day surgery center. Both have taken hits financially but refused to be absorbed by the new system. I have a neighbor who checked out of the big hospital regime months ago and is currently working at a private same day surgery center as well. He was the head anesthesiologist at the local hospital.
Major changes ahead for medical delivery and care, none for the better.

The setting of unattainable goals on staff by freaked out upper management types, who are trying to make it just one more year before they can bailout.
New programs to "increase efficiency" that no one has been properly trained on due to time constraints, staffing, workload, people stuffing crap into them on one end with timelines attached to them (for me) that haven't even been budget approved yet (but they got their end done...even though the info's wrong or incomplete...lol), the programs barely work and are constantly tweaked by some other interested department to prove to their boss that they're doing something "to make it better" (apparently) without regard to how much confusion and lost productivity it creates down stream to any other department...you know, the usual.
Mrs.N said (former AVP) a long time ago, corp is fine if I could handle the bullshit. Its getting harder to just laugh at them and let it slide these days.
Its pretty easy to sabatoge the dragon lady types, if everyone just puts their minds to it ;-)
This is my problem nmewn. I have offered up myself as Joan of Arc. We must do this now. We have a chance against this one. She isn't too bright for a climber. She forgot a few key conversations I noted. This one can be taken down and I proposed a sting that could nail her. Sheeple ran for cover when I proposed it in fear. They want me to do this alone. I refuse. I will not save their sorry asses for nothing. What they don't realize is they are toast if they don't follow me. I have a much better chance then they to survive this reaping.

These days there's all kinds of ways to get her, from sexual/racial discrimination to OSHA to divulging info about salary/health and whatnot, just put in the ole HR drop box.

I told my boss when I was first hired, I said look, all I want to do is do the job I was hired to do, collect my salary and go home, its all about the money & benis and I'm only as loyal as my next check. All the office political intrigue I can do without but I know how to play the game if it comes to it. He knew what I was talking about, agreed and we laughed about it. And in the local office, thats pretty much the way it is, good people. The corporate stuff is out of control stupid though.
Have fun with it, you probably already know who your allies are, the ones you can trust.
I'm assuming you work with majority of men. I work with 95% women. It is hard to form a cohesive force here. I have a few friends that are very aware and have confidence they won't willingly betray me...to a point. Several are sole income with laid off husbands. I will only trust them until we near the end.
Dragon lady and I have had interactions before. I am being sized up. I have three choices. Lackey, Agent, or Double Agent. She has made a few bad mistakes and is getting confident and careless ( forcing several to work without pay). Management loves her because she is consistently below budget and is amply rewarded. Why I can't get a group of woman together to take this bitch down is an example of my lack of leadership skills. A smart climber would be infinitely worse.

Why you can't get a group of employees to follow you has more to do with the hiring psych profiles than it does with you. The New Guy dragon lady has a checklist of objectives and deadlines to meet, she's not dealing with anyone as a person. She might lighten up when she's more confident that she can handle the job. Wait & see.

Most governors sell out/cave in to the feds. It might as well be a federal position now. State legislators pass what their constituents want, and the governor vetos it because the feds don't like it. Happens all the time. People need to start demanding states remain as sovereign from the federal government as possible. That would be one very positive step in taking back our country.

In O-HI-O there was a guvner, he decided to try to force through the Obamacare Medicaid expansion (really, what about is is NOT a Medicaid expansion?) againbst the will of the people, especially his voters. And also in conflict with the Constitutional Amendment rejecting O-care. He said it was his religious obligation to help the poor.

What the governors need to do is recognize the treason of the federal government, prosecute all the traitors in their jurisdictions, and if they can't do this the 4rth branch of the US government - the citizen militia - needs to replace their state representatives with able patriots who can enforce the constitution.
