  • UKRAINE SAYS RUSSIA INVADED UKRAINE UNDER GUISE OF EXERCISE
  • UKRAINE LEADER SAYS RUSSIA TRYING TO PROVOKE CONFLICT

  • UKRAINE ACTING PRESIDENT ACCUSES RUSSIA OF WORKING ON A SCENARIO LIKE BEFORE WAR WITH GEORGIA

From AFP:

Russia has sent "several hundred" troops into Ukraine's Crimea region, US defense officials said Friday, after Kiev called on Moscow to withdraw its forces from the peninsula.

"It looks like they’ve moved several hundred troops there (into Crimea)," a senior defense official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told AFP.

The comments marked the first confirmation from President Barack Obama's administration that Russia had launched an incursion into Crimea.

The Russians had not given the US government advance notice of the action or explained its intentions since the operation was launched, officials said.

But Pentagon officials stressed Washington was focused on diplomacy, and there was no serious consideration being given to any US military action.

"It is now in the realm of diplomacy," said a second defense official, who asked not to be named.

Officials also said they were not aware of any request from Ukraine for military assistance.

More from Interpretermag.com:

“Under the guise of military exercises, Russia has brought troops into the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. And not only have they seized the parliament of the Crimea, the Council of Ministers of the Crimea, they are trying to take civilian buildings under control, communications, and trying to block places where Ukrainian soldiers are based,” he said in an appeal to the nation.

“They are provoking us to military conflict. According to information from our intelligence, they are working out scenarios that are completely analogous to Abkhazia, when after provoking a conflict, they began annexation of territory,” the acting president emphasized.

At the same time, Ukraine Pravda is reporting that Russian military planes are now landing in the Crimea.

Russian airplanes are landing in Crimea from the direction of Russia, and a column of APCs is heading from the east toward Simferopol.

There are reports of at least 5 large IL-76 planes landing in the district of the military airfield in the town of Gvardeyskoye.

Various sources are reporting that a column of 10 Russian APCs is heading from Sevastopol toward Simfereopol.

Interfax Ukraine reports that all air traffic is halted at the Belbek Airport in Sevastopol due to the seizure of the landing strip by unknown persons.

“There are about 400 people now in the Belbek airport. They have occpuied the landing strip and any movement of planes is stopped,” said a source.

And another video of the Russian APCs: considering the number of journalists standing by, it is as if they are on parade:

Finally. AFP reports:

  • 2,000 RUSSIAN SOLDIERS LAND IN CRIMEA IN ARMED INVASION, KIEV OFFICIAL SAYS -- AFP

And more airplanes:

Some are using makeshift barricades and checkpoints to defend themselves: via Kyiv Post:

Unfortunately true.

If the Ukraine Interim Government were wise then they'd blow up a Pipeline. They can threaten Russia's ability to transport Gas. The can threaten Western Europe with the loss of supply. This is a squeeze play on both entities.

To solve the Fiscal Problems they can exact a Transport Tax on Gas flowing through the Pipelines. This is better than any enslaving loans from Brussels and would shore up the Ukrainian Economy. They can have true independence instead of being a vassal state for NATO or Russia.

They hold the trump card. They need to play it.

I guess we should just take you to the Ukraine and run you for president.  Then you could be Putin's latest wall mount.

Really?  A pipeline?  Who would have thunk it?  You don't need massive armies, navies, and nuclear arms, you just need a pipeline and you can rule your own world and destiny.  Give me a break!

Doesn't matter what you have if you don't have what it takes to keep it.  Step away from the video game and get a dose of reality.

The Crimea was Russian territory until Stalin gave it to the Ukraine in a gesture of  socialist solidarity.

Poly most of the people there welcome Russian troops.  We can just sit back and enjoy the show. No matter what Russia does now it just serves to drive the Ukrainians toward a closer union with Europe

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israel–Ukraine_relations

Israel–Ukraine relations are foreign relations between Israel and Ukraine. Both countries established diplomatic relation on December 26, 1991.[1] Israel has an embassy in Kiev. Ukraine has an embassy in Tel Aviv and a consulate-general in Haifa. In July 2010 the foreign ministers of two countries sign an agreement of non visa traffic between Israel and Ukraine.[2] This came into effect on February 9, 2011 and since then Ukrainians andIsraelis may enter territory, travel through it or stay on Ukraine/Israel without having to obtain visas for 90 days within a period of 180 days.[3]

Basic factors in relations[edit]

As Ukraine is rich with Jewish history, it plays a major part in Israeli education for young generation of Jews. In addition, Ukraine is also rich in religious history and contains the grave of Rabbi Nahman of Breslev, which is a pilgrimage site to many religious Jews. As Israel and the West Bank contain rich Christian history, Ukrainians come to Israel as religious pilgrims. This is especially true regarding Jerusalem, with its Russian Orthodox holy sites.

For Jews worldwide, Ukraine also holds many memories regarding the Holocaust, as the site of Babi Yar is in its territory.

As Ukraine is a newly independent state, this serves to create a common sense of identity of Ukraine and Israel as nations who gained their independence in the 20th century.

Human trafficking of Ukrainian women in Israel[edit]

As the globalization led to increase in human trafficking, many Ukrainian women are being sold for purposes of prostitution, Israel being a major destination for Ukrainian women trafficked.[4] The Ukrainian embassy in Israel has registered 3 cases of Ukrainian women brought into the country for prostitution in 1999, and 26 such cases in 2000.[5] The real number, however, is much higher than that brought to the attention of the Ukrainian embassy.

Many Ukrainian Jews in the past were believers in Kabbalah.

Kabbalah teachings has a lot to say about the Messiah.

Curiously, there is also a Enlightenment history of Christian Kabbalah,

which is historically associated with Freemasonry.

Jews can be Freemasons, although many Jews are opposed to Kabbalah,

because of the similarities to Christian Kabbalah.

Secrets and Secret Societies jumbled together,

difficult to know what Conspiracy may be planned.

Freemasonry has a long history in both western Europe, and in the past also existed in Russia,

although I don't know the current status in Russia.

It may exist only in small numbers in Russia.

Paul Craig Roberts

Reality on the ground in Ukraine contradicts the incompetent and immoral Obama regime’s portrait of Ukrainian democracy on the march.

To the extent that government exists in post-coup Ukraine, it is laws dictated by gun and threat wielding thugs of the neo-Nazi, Russophobic, ultra-nationalist, right-wing parties. Watch the video of the armed thug, Aleksandr Muzychko, who boosts of killing Russian soldiers in Chechnya, dictating to the Rovno regional parliament a grant of apartments to families of protesters. http://rt.com/news/radical-opposition-intimidating-techniques-882/

Read about the neo-nazis intimidating the Central Election Commission in order to secure rule and personnel changes in order to favor the ultra-right in the forthcoming elections. Thug Aleksandr Shevchenko informed the CEC that armed activists will remain in CEC offices in order to make certain that the election is not rigged against the neo-nazis. What he means, of course, is the armed thugs will make sure the neo-nazis win. If the neo-nazis don’t win, the chances are high that they will take power regardless.

Members of President Yanukovich’s ruling party, the Party of Regions, have been shot, had arrest warrants issued for them, have experienced home invasions and physical threats, and are resigning in droves in hopes of saving the lives of themselves and their families. The prosecutor’s office in the Volyn region (western Ukraine) has been ordered by ultra-nationalists to resign en masse .

Jewish synagogs and Eastern Orthodox Christian churches are being attacked.

To toot my own horn, I might have been the first and only to predict that Washington’s organization of pro-EU Ukrainian politicians into a coup against the elected government of Ukraine would destroy democracy and establish the precedent that force prevails over elections, thereby empowering the organized and armed extreme right-wing.

This is precisely what has happened. Note that there was no one in the Obama regime who had enough sense to see the obvious result of their smug, self-satisfied interference in the internal affairs of Ukraine.

If a democratically elected president and ruling party are so easily driven from power by armed neo-nazis, what chance do Washington’s paid stooges among the so-called “moderates” have of forming a government? These are the corrupt people who wanted President Yanukovich out of office so that they could take the money instead. The corruption charge against Yanukovich was cover for the disloyal, undemocratic “moderate” schemers to seize power and be paid millions of dollars by Washington for taking Ukraine into the EU and NATO.

The Washington-paid schemers are now reaping their just reward as they sit in craven silence while neo-nazi Muzychko wielding an Ak-47 challenges government officials to their face: “I dare you take my gun!”

Only Obama, Susan Rice, Victoria Nuland, Washington’s European puppets, and the Western prostitute media can describe the brutal reality of post-coup Ukraine as “the forward march of democracy.”

The West now faces a real mess, and so does Russia. The presstitutes will keep the American public from ever knowing what has happened, and the Obama regime will never admit it. It is not always clear that even the Russians want to admit it. The intelligent, reasonable, and humane Russian Foreign Minister, a person 100 cuts above the despicable John Kerry, keeps speaking as if this is all a mistake and appealing to the Western governments to stand behind the agreement that they pressured President Yanukovich to sign.

Yanukovich is history, as are Washington’s “moderates.” The moderates are not only corrupt; they are stupid. The fools even disbanded the Riot Police, leaving themselves at the mercy of the armed right-wing nazi thugs.

Ukraine is out of control. This is what happens when an arrogant, but stupid, Assistant Secretary of State (Victoria Nuland) plots with an equally arrogant and stupid US ambassador (Pyatt) to put their candidates in power once their coup against the elected president succeeds. The ignorant and deluded who deny any such plotting occurred can listen to the conversation between Nuland and Pyatt here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSxaa-67yGM&feature=player_embedded

The situation will almost certainly lead to war. Only Putin’s diplomatic skills could prevent it. However, Putin has been demonized by Washington and the whores who comprise the US print and TV media. European and British politicians would have their Washington paychecks cut off if they aligned with Putin.

War is unavoidable, because the Western public is out to lunch. The more facts and information I provide, the more emails I receive defending the “sincere [and well paid] protesters’ honest protests against corruption,” as if corruption were the issue. I hear from Ukrainians and from those of Ukrainian ethnicity in Canada and the US that it is natural for Ukrainians to hate Russians because Ukrainians suffered under communism, as if suffering under communism, which disappeared in 1991, is unique to Ukrainians and has anything to do with the US coup that has fallen into neo-nazi hands,

No doubt. Many suffered under communism, including Russians. But was the suffering greater than the suffering of Japanese civilians twice nuked by the “Indispensable people,” or the suffering by German civilians whose cities were firebombed, like Tokyo, by the “exceptional people”?

Today Japan and Germany are Washington’s puppet states. In contrast, Ukraine was an independent country with a working relationship with Russia. It was this relationship that Washington wished to destroy.

Now that a reckless and incompetent Washington has opened Pandora’s Box, more evil has been released upon the world. The suffering will not be confined to Ukraine.

There are a number of reasons why the situation is likely to develop in a very bad way. One is that most people are unable to deal with reality even when reality directly confronts them. When I provide the facts as they are known, here are some of the responses I receive: “You are a Putin agent;” “you hate Ukrainians;” “you are defending corruption;” “you must not know how Ukrainians suffered at the hands of Stalin.”

Of course, having done Russian studies in graduate school, having been a member of the US-USSR student exchange program in 1961, having traveled in Russia, Georgia, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan, having published in scholarly journals of Slavic and Russian studies, having twice addressed the Soviet Academy of Sciences, having been invited to explain to the CIA why the Soviet economic collapse occurred despite the CIA’s predictions to the contrary, I wouldn’t know anything about how people suffered under communism. The willingness of readers to display to me their utter ignorance and stupidity is astonishing. There is a large number of people who think reality consists of their delusions.

Reality is simply too much for mentally and emotionally weak people who are capable of holding on to their delusions in the face of all evidence to the contrary. The masses of deluded people and the total inability of Washington, wallowing it its hubris, to admit a mistake, mean that Washington’s destabilization of Ukraine is a problem for us all.

RT reports that “Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered an urgent military drill to test combat readiness of the armed forces across western and central Russia.” According to Russia’s Defense Minister, the surprise drill tested ground troops, Air Force, airborne troops and aerospace defense. http://rt.com/news/putin-drill-combat-army-864/

The Defense Minister said: “The drills are not connected with events in Ukraine at all.”

Yes, of course. The Defense Minister says this, because Putin still hopes that the EU will come to its senses. In my opinion, and I hope I am wrong, the European “leaders” are too corrupted by Washington’s money to have any sense. They are bought-and-paid-for. Nothing is important to them but money.

Ask yourself, why does Russia need at this time an urgent readiness test unrelated to Ukraine? Anyone familiar with geography knows that western and central Russia sit atop Ukraine.

Let us all cross our fingers that another war is not the consequence of the insouciant American public, the craven cowardice of the presstitute media, Washington’s corrupt European puppets, and the utter mendacity of the criminals who rule in Washington.

OK. The unelected acting president of Ukraine who was parachuted into position following a virtual coup - engineered and funded by the US government with EU/British support to essentially align Ukraine with Europe (against the wishes of many) and to open Ukraine's doors to NATO for the purpose of surrounding Russia - is now whining that Russian forces have entered Crimea to protect its interests, and to possibly prevent the West from getting its feet under the table in Ukraine.

In the big picture, not sure Putin/Russia would really be all that worried about a confrintation with the US based on its war track record over the past 60 years (larger conflicts). Korea (in the 1950s), a dead-heat that the US left in a mess with tensions between north and south still present after 60 years. Vietnam (in the 1960s), no question a loss as the US left the country with it's tail between its legs. In the 1970's, the US was too focused on getting rid of Tricky Dicky, watching Ford stumble around (literally), and then having Carter come to the helm and deal with a horrible economy/oil embargo. In the 1980's, the US got a light snack victory in Grenada and then watched the Soviet Union implode in Afganistan. Regan then got to rejoice as the cold war came to an end with the fall of the wall in Berlin.

So the score card from 1950 through 1980, not all that impressive but at least the cold war was won (more political/social/economical than military). Enter the 1990's and our obession with the Middle East started with protecting Kuwait (i.e., Oil) from Iraq. This of course has led to continual involvement in Iraq through Afganistan today for basically 20 years. Not sure how everyone else would judge the US success but I view the efforts in Iraq and Afganistan both to be failures based on the long-term outcome that will most likely occur. That is, once the US leaves, these countries return to instability dominated by internal fighting along ethnic/cultural/religous beliefs that will more than likely end in civil wars and return to dictatorships/oppressive rule.

I know there were alot of so called successful victories in tactical efforts (e.g., US bombing Libya from afar) but as for major ground/offensive campaigns, I'm struggling to see any real/decisive victories over the past sixty years. If this is a world power, then I'm a little concerned as for large scale conflicts, the US's track record since the 1950's is avearge at best. Please correct me if I'm wrong but this is how I see it and why Russia (which has every right to protect its national security and economic interests) may not be overly concerned about what Obama/US says.

And BTW, did anyone else notice the direct coorelation between the increased level of global tension/stress (e.g., Ukraine, Turkey, Venezuala, Thailand, Argentina, etc.) and the Fed's decision to taper starting in December 2013? The dipshits in the Fed clearly don't understand the impact of their actions on the international community and the potential political, social, economic, and military fallout that may occur. But since it's now raining in California (for the first time in years it seems), the Fed can blame the current global problems again on the weather.

Territory isn't captured by land invasion these days.
Bankers are parachuted in to govern Greece, Italy, Ukraine.
EU states have lost their sovereignty.
Peaceful democracy activists (with no help from dumb foreign extremists or sophisticated special forces) are leveraged to destabilize uncooperative regimes.
And by remarkable synchronicity the fifth column crystallizes to hand over the territory to the supranational overlords.

I could have told you Putih would invade, because its all about maintaining the east-west balance of power, in existence since after the fall of Roman Empire. Since then thereve been a continuation of Caesars as Tzars and Kaesarsas power went from country to country, but always maintaining the balance.  Really the US should know better than to meddle in Ukraine as its not our business and the admin is arrogant to think they can change what is estbld by God. But Russia will become  arrogant too, when they try to take Israel. Big mistake, as this action will end  the balance of power and the OWGovt is initiated. in 1941-45 the US was well aware that stalin's russia was going to be an antagonist for all of easern euope.

stalin accused the crimean people of collaborating wih the germans and order them evacuatd from the ukraine... and, it was in their exile that half the population perished. krushchev was from the ukraine and had great empathy for the crimean people, soon on a whim in 1954 after stalin's death he made the crimean pinninsula again apart of ukraine, and a federation of USSR.

stalin was a beast, an antagonist... a vexatious menace. he only cooperated with (Britain?), USA because of the cost associated with the mass reconstruction to the homeland, and having USA deep pockets for fnancial aid (restitution?) to rebuild!

Putin is a realist, and pragmatic... having no illusions of a hegemonic past toalitarianism stalinist russia! he is although saddened by the collapse of moher russia in dec/1991. but, the guy is not in the old-camp, not one iota in ideology or dictatorship` rule!

I think you dont understand Putin - you say he is not an idealist, I think you are wrong.

Everything Putin has done has been to weaken the international banking cabal, and protect Russia from it - he pursued the Russian Jewish oligarchs, forcing them into exile - grabbed the television and other state assets, which though they are state owned are operated by himself and those loyal to him.

He knows the usual methods of attack of the western oligarchs - cultural corruption by immigration, muslims, lesbians and gays, feminists, NGO's and media - he has stamped all over all of those, he he is unapologetic.  THose methods to culturally destroy nations are always backed by words like - racist, bigot, misogynist, anti-semite, homophobe and accustations of taking political prisoners (whenever a CIA or Mossad operative is locked up) - those are the words that the international banksters have used to facilitate the destruction of western cultures - Putin will have none of it.

His KGB training has made him well aware of the way things really work - and he is defending Russia extremely well - he is completely ideological - sure he pragmatic, and he chooses assymetric tactics.  In Syria he chose the political method to defeat the US and Saudi invasion, in CHechnya he chose the military method to defeat the US muslim proxy invasion - again in Georgia he chose the military method.

In Ukraine he will chose a combination of financial, political, covert and military methods - with the Ukraine he is going to use everything he can.  Many seem not to understand how significant the Ukraine is to Putin, he cannot afford to lose it - he will lose most of his oil and gas leverage on the EU without it.  He is going to do basically everything he can, there are no limits to what he will do - expect lots of assassinations, military conflict, bribery etc.

If I were Putin, I would be counterfieting the Ukranian currency like crazy and bringing pallet loads of it to distribute covertly to Ukranian people, telling them it was a gift from Russia.  It would serve two purposes - on the one hand it will create inflation and therefore civil disobedience - while at the same time making it look like it was Russia who was actually helping the common people by handing out money.

Where did i say explicitly, or, in fact emplicitly imply(?), that putin was not an... 'Idealist'?          http://canadianchristianity.com/ottawawatch-ideology-idealism-1939/

The russian people (ALL) are innately pragmatist and realist! It's in their genes!!! Life is hard in a geography unrelenting to mother natures' whims. Thus, the russian people... the very essence of their unique human nature have adapted to the beauty and awe of mother russia and the carnage not so long past... brought in and out of hearten'd reality not lost since the bolshevik's tyranny... still lingering, always a xenophobic mental-wart metastasizing?

Indeed... perhaps Putins' Russian, nebulous-rhetoric skirts sancho`panza narrative of altruistic servitude with a modicum of recrudesce! And, if in ones own shoes... with your back to the wall for no apparent reason than to say-- enough, is enough,... 'what's wrong, is wrong about Syria (Iran)', without a self-interest and USSA myoptic 'jaundice'd`eye... bellicosity stand'ding`down!?!

Lastly, your way ahead of yourself regarding triumphs and victories that haven't even totally played-out! Putin won't do what you call is intuitive CT to pursue his goals. His goal, as it stands... is righteous and admirable without the BullShit you put in your NSA TROLL piece???

so fuck off.... yours truly ;->

get back!!!

And, as far as USSA wedge issues that are tearing america apart? This is america's own doing. The cost of freedom?, is, I guess to give your freedoms up in todays america! I'm not going to get into something you interjected that had, or has anything to do with my comment, other than the fact that I've touched on the subject in favour of Putin (secretarian bullshit) many times, nipping-the-bud ?!?

At a time of world crisis brought on by a rapacious Russian dictator, whose threats of invasion of a sovereign nation and it's legitimate democractically elected government, have pushed all free peoples into peril, we must unite as Americans as we once again must face down evil and it's criminal attempts to spread it's evil into free lands. Now is the time, when the democratic process is under threat, America's democarcy is on the line, and we too are threatened by the dictatorship of Russia, this is the time to put aside the partisan politics of the great democratic institutions in Washington for the common good. Once America is united in the face of this peril to our freedom, we will stand as one behind our freely and openly elected leader of all the free world, President Obama. This struggle may cost treasure and soldiers blood, but we can not take one step back as we have appeased Russia's advances and threats for far too long. My appeal is for the good of freedom, deomcracy and our very security and our right to choose our leaders. Once Russia has finished attacking Crimea, they will move on to other innocent victims who seek only their free rights to their democratically elected government. If governments like Kiev's, elected by the people to serve the people, if these can be threatened by the dictator Putin, who grabbed power illegally at gun point, if we allow other free peoples to fall, then we are next. Your daughters raped, your freedoms stolen, your flag tampled in the dust. Your freedom from being spied on and your richly rewarding high paying jobs will be lost.

This war is just, we have stepped back again and again, but now we are in a corner from which we can no longer retreat. Obama, the War Department and our armed forces stand ready to defend us. All they want and need is our support and our money, they will do the rest. Freedom is not free, we must pay for our security in blood. Russia must be stopped now. So lets back Obama, call the White House and express your desire for a war of freedom and liberation. All Crimea awaits your voice, all of East and South Ukraine seeks your help as the jackbooted thugs of the Putin dictatorship march to crush the rights of man.

This message should move all freedom loving Americans. The EU is calling for your help at a grave crisis in the march of EU freedom, EU prosperity and EU liberty. I hear that Greeks are flocking to the military banners of NATO and Spain and Italy's people are donating money and enlisting in the NATO armies. This is a crusade of the only free nations left to stand up to Russia. EU and USA the call of freedom is upon us, on to war, on to victory and may god grant us our victory and the rescue of all we hold dear.

Obama is a war president, are you with him or against him? There is no middle ground, support the war, or show your true colors as a terrorist. Obama! USA! Obama! USA! Obama! USA!

What did you do during the great war of liberation daddy? Did you sit home and watch it on CNNand FOX, or did you fight for our liberty?

Yes Silver, that is just why I wrote it. This IS the way many Americans think. Of course they have been spoon fed propaganda via the media and know little better. Remember how close we came to war on Syria? Now we see Obama just a few hours ago making war threats over Crimea. Americans need to wake up, will they ever wake up? I think at least 50% of Americans would agree with my post above.

I was just sitting in here minding my own own business and reading posts when Team Russia barged in and got on top of me.  This led to a conversation of whether or not she wanted to be pregnant again.  Of course she said NO.  Well, that is fine with me too as two is enough.  I know she is about ready because I know that woman pretty well by now.  I was thinking to myself, "Hey, I will get some ass here and I didn't even have to try this time."  Wrong on my part.  She was in here for 45 minutes and I got nothing,  She almost wouldn't leave and kept saying she had to go to bed.  Then go to bed.  No matter how hard I tried I got no where.

I call bullshit on this sort of thing.  If you are a woman and you come into my office and jump me then you have to follow though right?  I guess not.  I had to ask what that was all about.  I think she needled me back pretty well in this case and there is only one thing that can be done.

" The United States and the IMF offered Sunday to assist Ukraine in rebuilding its debt-laden economy ".

It is a power and land grab but not by the Russians.

The Russians are already there and have been for a very long time. they make up a large majority of the Ukraine population. And that's why there is no unrest or blood shed in Crimea. The way I see it Putin is simply trying to hang on to what vested interests and infrastructure Russia has in Ukraine. As Ron Paul has said many times, the US shouldn't go around sticking their nose in other countries affairs, simple as.

Lot of pot smokers in here today. If it's an invasion then send troops to defend what's yours. Send the dudes from the square. They seem capable and motivated.

The only part that's not clear is the dude who reportedly fought in Chechnya. He comes across as if he has a deal with the Russians that they'll let him be after he creates a situation that warrants Russian intervention. I don't see the EU supporting him especially since they have two other dudes they are supporting. This dude who was reportedly in Chechnya seems to be eating the other two dude's lunch and spoiling the EU show.

the situation continues to develope, press-service of Crimea parliament reports:

Sergey Aksyonov - the leader of the executive branch in Crimea has asked Putin for help.

the reason for this move was that Kyiv without agreement with Crimea authorities issued orders to reassign leadership of the internal forces of Crimea region.

In return Sergey Aksyonov issued orders for police and military forces in the region to temporaly come under his control. He also advized those who intend to disobey this order that they should resign

The latest headline I've seen says:

President Obama warns Russia there would be “costs for any military intervention.”

Heh heh. Like Putin gives a single, solitary fuck what Barry says? He knows nothing will happen. Just like the Iranians know nothing will happen, and can continue doing anything they please.

It is probably all done deal (all around...probably approved at the G20 a week ago?) .

The only thing now is to see what happens as Russia provides police force while Ukraine resets and goes officially bankrupt, and probably assumes the Ruble as their new/temporary currency.

If and when Detroit or Chicago goes officially bankrupt the Homeland Security will provide a similar police force within the USA.

We gotta take lots of notes to see how this all goes down.

Could it be that one of the main ulterior motives of Putin in the Ukraine is simply to further discredit the U.S. in the eyes of the rest of the world? It is no secret that the BRICS are tired of the $ as the international reserve currency. And, it is no secret with regards to the amounts of gold being purchased by Russia, China, and others.

The rest of the world knows the U.S. has no moral authority, no political will, a weakened military, and is bankrupt. As the self-appointed messenger to the world of America's demise from within, Putin has already politically outmaneuvered our leadership, and now is demonstrating a disregard for our global projection of force militarily. Our military in the past has always been our ace-in-the-hole, the final arbiter of disputes.

All that needs to happen is either Putin just keeps sayin' fuck you, U.S., or China just lets its debts-ridden economy collapse. Either one leads to the final undoing of the U.S., without a shot having been fired.

When the other countries of the world also begin to believe the U.S. is just an empty shell of its former self, and no longer carries the biggest stick, then they are free to determine amongst themselves what basket of currencies will become the international reserve currencies. The U.S not only won't have a seat at the table, but won't even be allowed in the room during the discussions. The flood of $s back into the U.S. will be in such staggering amounts, QE will appear as nothing, and the only perceived salvation will be the issuance of a new U.S. currency.

All that Russia and China will have to do then is throw open the vault doors and allow the Western media to openly report to the world on the gold to be used to back their respective currencies. Oh, and tell the U.S., "The world has seen our gold, let us see how much you have to back your currency with."

IMO, we have already put ourselves into just such a position, and the U.S. has no room to maneuver at this point. We are fucked, and doubly fucked.

The US and EU are complete hypocrits anyway. Invest $5 Billion to make the place pro-EU and then that fails so they get the CIA/MI6/SIS invloved to topple the elected official. Nice job, but now you will have to deal with the testicle crusher named Putin who is a spook king himself. Will be interesting to see how useless NATO (US/EU puppet) will actually respond. Let the arm wrestle contest begin. I believe China will assist in the background. Evident from the recent move on the Yuan carry trade. What a lovely coincident.

This is not a good thing.  If you fuck with the Bear, you get what's coming to you.  Didn't they learn anything from Georgia?  What kind of morons do we have in the State Dept?  Oops!  I forgot Kerry was in charge there.  That makes it self explanitory.

But then again, it's not really our country anymore, is it?  As for me, I quit being a part of their machine 20 years ago when I woke up one day and smelled the coffee.

son in law in marines and a nephew in the army.  I have a vested interest in these proceedings.  Obama is more concerned about the sovereignty of Ukraines borders than he is of our southern border.  The enemy is within.  Our country is rotting from the top down.  I dread the day when "flyover country" becomes "flee to country" for the NYC ,  DC,  LA and San Fran folks.  Then and only then will they get a true appreciation for the truth that freedom isn't free.  I am 58 years old and I shudder when I see what our country has become. We indoctrinate kids into Socialism in schools.  We suspend little boys or drug them up for not wanting to sit still in class.  We embrace openly and encourage every sexual deviant behavior and punish those in business who dare speak their beliefs.  We have murdered 40 some million innocents in the womb yet all we hear about is the horrors of the holocaust.  What would you call murdering 40 plus million in the womb unable to speak for themselves?  Choice,, sorry,  that's right.  Girls wanna be boys,  boys wanna be girls,  you are just animals so you will breed at 12 years old so here are some rubbers.  Could just puke really.  Anarchy doesn't fix things either.  I met a retired Chicago police officer who was a 19 year old rookie the summer MLK was killed.  He had tears in his eyes when he told me how they set the west side of Chicago on fire and tried to burn the city down.  Worse than anything he saw in four years in Nam in the air force.   No rules are mob rules.  That won't work either.  We are so lacking for leadership in our country that most just look the other way.  There is a saying that those who can't do teach.  Anymore now in our country it should be those that can't do,  lead.  We are well and truly fucked.  God help our military if Obams and Susan Rice and Kerry the Ketchup king don't keep their paws out of Ukraine.  Just a match,  that is all this situation needs.

IR, you may be closer to me than you know. From your previous posts I understand you left Appalachia for the big city, didn't care for things so much, and now reside amongst a bunch of useless nuts (Buckeyes) just to the north of me. I don't like it there, it's too flat. Whenever you want to return to the Highlands, let me know. There is plenty of good out-of-the-way land available, lot's of anonymity, but also a sense of community, away from the would-be predators in the cities. There's plenty of good work to be done right here. Feel free anytime.

MSM as usual is simply unwatchable & unreadable. Just like they did with Syria last year, The Guardian is reporting tweets as fact from literally anyone on the ground in Ukraine who has an anti-Russian or pro-Maidan agenda.

The pathetic bias of MSM is clear for all to see.

Not only have they conveniently avoided any mention of exactly WHO was behind the divisive revolution in Ukraine, but I now see UK Sky News constantly referring to the Russians in Crimea as "unidentified gunmen", occasionally adding "probably Russian".

Propaganda is in full flow. Scripts supplied by the Foreign Office.
