Monday Fashion Statement: Don't Front Run Me Bro!
As Yves St. Laurent might have said, "Algos fade, this stylish HFT-shirt is eternal."

Talk about someone trying to start a momentum-ignition event.
At 3:15 (Eastern) TIKRL (The tick for the Russell 2000) and TIKQ (The tick for Nasdaq) went off the charts positive like nothing we've seen for many weeks (The data that was handy on my screen went back a few weeks). And this is higher than what we normally see during the opening or closing minutes of the session. The time-stamp also coincided with ES and NQ hovering around their VWAP.
The question is; who is behind that event? To pull this off, the robots had to BUY almost ALL of the stock in the RUT and NDX, for about a minute or so, forcing ALL of these stock to print up-ticks. Does someone really want to buy-this-dip that much?
they are behind it. they.
...this whole biotech bash which has now bled into momo bash was started by a letter from congress to Gilead. The same congress that can insider trade. so i wonder if anyone has the balls to do some sleuthing and see what trading activity took place prior to this letter in these people's accounts and who else may have been tipped off or colluded with to start this dump.
Why would anyone waste their time to prove what everyone alread knows is happening? And it's not illegal, even if proven.
I remember back in the day being told "people sell for all sorts of reasons, but they only buy for one." Somehow, I think that simple logic has gotten a little twisted over the years.
Don`t get me started talking fashion, lest you could accuse
me talking fascism.
Which I do , while considering style as the division
aesthetics always win.
There was a POMO then...duh!
maybe the algos became self-aware
@Say What Again
The question is; who is behind that event?
The same usual greedy skimming fkrs.
Why not? It's your money they are gambling, not their own.
Awesome! I want one.
Maybe the NSA will see this post and chip in to buy one for .....
Never mind.

never thought it would make the front page. I'm sensing I should stay away from parking garages.
Don't go home and for heaven's sake don't go in the same room where there is a gun, rope, sheet, nail gun, shitgum, and don't drive a Mercedes or fly on a Boeing 777. You might as well kill yourself. We all know you are going to end up doing just that anyway. As least if you suicide yourself you get the pick the method.
And one for the bankers: 'Don't shitgum me bro'.
IPO to keep an eye on coming up.
Ally Financial.
In case anyone forgot they used to be GMAC prior to the government bailout of GM. Remember the government lost money on that bailout. Guess who is initiating the IPO, the Treasury Department.
Can you say pump to the moon to recoup losses once the Treasury sells it's shares since the market obviously isn't rigged and centrally controlled. The estimates that the Treasury might recoup on the IPO is about 3B.

The most closely watched of this week’s offerings will be Ally Financial, the former GMAC Inc., which collapsed in 2008 and was resuscitated by a $17 billion federal bailout. The financial services firm plans to offer 95 million shares in an expected price range of $25 to $28 a share.
Underwriters are Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Barclays Capital which have an over-allotment option on an additional 14.25 million shares. The U.S. Department of the Treasury owns 177.31 million shares, or 36.8% of the company. It is the seller of all 95 million shares in this offering as well as the over-allotment option. Ally Financial will receive none of the gross proceeds of $2.52 billion (calculated at the mid-point of the expected price range).
Shares are expected to price on Thursday and begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Friday under the ticker symbol “ALLY”.

Great. These bastards are behind how many car loans in the US? I can't go to my credit union without being being targeted by every employee within speaking range.
Hell, I can barely park there, as their lot is always filled with repos.
Turn it inside out and there's a disturbing image of Barry blowing Reggie.
