IMF Warns Ukraine: Fight For The East Or No Money
IMF approved the $17bn tranched loan to Ukraine last night, Gazprom gets paid; Ukraine gets its cash; and the door's wide open for the US and EU to pour more 'controlling influence' into the divided nation... Except there's one thing:
- IF UKRAINE GOVERNMENT LOSES EFFECTIVE CONTROL OVER EAST OF COUNTRY, $17 BLN IMF BAILOUT WOULD NEED TO BE REDESIGNED
Which, roughly translated, appears to mean go to war with pro-Russian forces (and thus Russia itself if Putin sees his apparent countrymen in trouble) or you don't get your money!
Some other items of note include:
- *IMF URGES UKRAINE TO REACH PRICE ACCORD WITH GAZPROM BY SEPT
- *UKRAINE INFLATION MAY JUMP TO 16.2% THIS YEAR, IMF SAYS
- *RUSSIA'S GAS PRICE INCREASE MAY WEAKEN HRYVNIA: IMF STAFF

OOh, you are wery wascally wabbit; yes you are.
Pretty blunt, aren't they? "Throw all of your young men into the human woodchipper to the east or else NO fiat for you!"
It's enough to make one's blood run cold.
I am no fan of the EU but I sure feel sorry for Ukrainian men ages 17-35...
They aren't going to fight for a President who came from a street mob; relax it'll all collapse into a farce.
So the chill will be on until the gaz bill is paid, then fuck 'em.
...and now you see the real point of fiat money.
And in other news... The latest on another Anglo-American the U.S. and the rest of the World seems to have forgotten about but nevertheless that is vital to there strategic interests...
Wonder how much this little beauty will cost Al Sisi when he starts pulling the trigger to execute 700 of them to set the example in the "fear department" of Do as I say Not as I Do for the rest?
This is going to be a prohibitively expensive month and "bridge to summer" to say the least for the IMF and Trilateral Commission... Just where will all the money come from to pay for all of it?
Perfect, does he need any more ammunition. we cold send him some more. also get busy on the list for the next 700. t he more dead Muslims the better.
$17*10^9 ?
This seems to be a little bit too little.
Ua needs until end of 2015 $50*10^9.
Should the tax income from the east go to MOscow, then what remains in the state budget?
17 is definitely not enough. Kiev needs 17 until summer and not until end of 2015.
Fitting... back due to popular demand: Essence of banking (IMF included):

They need to fight alright. Grab all the dual-citizens and send them to the Hague. Make a dual with Putin and join the Anti-Bolshevik Federation and be done with the IMF and all their bagmen, and ladies.
Dear IMF currency muppets,
I can see the SDR basket valuation based on 2011. Shortly the rest of ZH will see as well. My biggest component in the anti- IMF is your ability to declare SDR currency Ponzi rip off. From one of your IMF County Club member guest. LaGarge, we’re fucking using all your $USD money to develop new infrastructure on another bad investments.
Two point question:
IMF is using a basket currency. We have a lying US president shitbag who lies behind the truth.
SDR Valuation
Global Climate/ HeathCare Death Panel is all this Meo Nigger President has to offer to create new GDP.
Is this the backstory for Hunger Games?
see, they are just an extension of the cabal banksters. Nothing more nothing less. We don't need the IMF! They just cause wars, famine, hardship and chaos.
Choose the form of the destructor.
Wolf Creek expected to cost $630M to decomm, but they are only forced to put 1.3M into the kitty every year. What part of insanity is that?
I think the regulators need to step up to the plate and force a real plan, or else the US taxpayers are going to end up footing the bill, as the nuke executives scoot away with the profits.

(Reuters) - A U.S. Court of Federal Claims judge issued an injunction late Wednesday prohibiting a joint venture betweenLockheed Martin Corp and Boeing from proceeding with plans to buy Russian-made rocket engines used to send U.S. Air Force satellites into space.
Space Exploration Technologies, the privately held company known as SpaceX, won the temporary injunction against the U.S. government and contractors Boeing and Lockheed operating as United Launch Alliance.
The U.S. Air Force and United Launch Alliance are prohibited "from making any purchases from or payment of money to NPO Energomash", Federal Claims Court Judge Susan Braden wrote in the order.
The preliminary injunction does not extend to any purchase orders placed or money paid to Russian rocket engine maker NPO Energomash prior to the date of the order.
What the fuck kind of crazy shit is that? The Air Force can't buy rocket engines where it pleases? That's crazy. The Russians build vastly superior rocket engines and sell them a good price; who the fuck is this space X pimple.?
Russia is Master of Propulsion.
Ziolkovsky was the first scientist to envision modern-day rockets.
Goddard followed his theory and built one that works.
Russian rocket engines also run off Vodka if you are out of standard rocket fuel.
Yes, USAF should buy anywhere they want...
IMF (adios mother fucker) is the arm of the banksters of the US, EU and NATO terrorist provocateurs.
The US is out in the open and do not even pretend “Freedom and Democracy” any more. I suppose that comes later in another lying sound bite. Ha. Ha.
Not to say I told you so but...
Well, Okay. I told you so.
Putin's "US can stop this at any time." BS has once again been revealed for what it is - BS.
The Ukraine crisis is a very simple story.
EUROPE: "We must have alternate suppliers".
PUTIN: "No."
EUROPE: "Ukraine will lease us transport on their pipelines this year! (2008)"
PUTIN: "No they won't."
EUROPE: "Yes they will! The energy will be coming from central asia via Azerbaijan and Abkhasia, Georgia."
PUTIN: "No they won't. I've just invaded Georgia, and shut off the energy to Ukraine. They will do as they are told."
EUROPE: "Then we'll buy it from Africa via Libya."
PUTIN: "No you won't. North Africa is about to descend into a series of Civil Wars. You'll buy it from me or you won't have it. Now give me an Olympics, and shine my shoes."
EUROPE: "You'll piss off the US."
PUTIN: "So what?"
EUROPE: "There will be bombings."
PUTIN: "So what? They are mentally and morally weak. I'll have their ambassador killed, and they will go back to their side of the world and hide."
EUROPE: "Fine. We'll get it from the Gulf."
PUTIN: "No you won't."
EUROPE: "Yes we will. You can't attack Turkey without WWIII. And except for 100 miles through Syria, the land is all in friendly hands. You'll lose this time."
PUTIN: "No I won't. Syria is my ally."
EUROPE: "Assad won't be in power forever. In fact, he may already have lost ... coincidentally."
PUTIN: "No he didn't. He has powerful friends. Me."
EUROPE: "If there are WMD there, the Americans will come."
PUTIN: "No they won't. You are on your own."
EUROPE: "About Ukraine doing as it is told... Well, the thing is, people in the West like us more than you."
PUTIN: "So what? I have an Army. You have Bankers. The Americans are far away. I win."
EUROPE: "UKRAINE!!!! You better keep those switching and pumping stations, or you can count us out!"
double post
sorrie...
The point is this:
The means to execute power are Political, Military, Economic, Social, Infrastructure and Information.
NATO exists to make sure - at least for members - that the military means is not used.
If a NATO composed mostly of US forces is no longer enough to prevent the use of military force as a means to policy, then what policy means must Europeans rapidly make themselves capable of exercising?
It is an obvious move.
Putin wants to bring home candy for Rosneft and Gazprom, just like Foch, Weygand, and Wernyss hoped to bring candy home.
Instead he is going to cause Europe to re-arm.
Then Putin's interactions with them will have an entirely different character. None of the other european nations has reason to love Russia. And European nations today have more reason to focus on Russia - who is frustrating and brutalizing their policy objectives - than to focus against each other.
In fact, I suspect this will be the perfect crisis they need to justify their European super-state.
How exactly will that be good for Russia?
cute...is there point to your long talkings?
lol, you're such a complete ignoramus, typical Ameweekan illiterate retard
OFF TOPIC - So long as we have a black man in the White House espousing bullshit about color and racism, the worse things will get.
I am not sure we have two years of tolerance left.
Bath House can do no wrong!
Why, any criticism of him at all is...Raycissss!

In a move that both exacerbates international conflicts in the Western Pacific and suggests how Moscow plans to proceed in the Arctic, Russian President Vladimir Putin has closed to all outside shipping and fishing the entire Sea of Okhotsk—some 52,000 square kilometers of water that had been open to other countries for fishing and deep-water exploration.
Putin took this step after Russia secured international recognition of Moscow’s claim that the Russian continental shelf extends under the entire seabed of that body of water under the terms of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea. Putin told the Russian Security Council that “our experts—based on scientific data—found weighty arguments that testified about the incontestable right of Russia to this area. Consequently, the Plenum of [the UN commission] agreed with our conclusions and formulated the corresponding recommendations” (ng.ru/nvoevents/2014-04-25/2_news.html).
Moscow has long been seeking this decision, and its victory means that Russia will now be able to invoke international law to block all other countries from fishing or engaging in any other activities, including seabed prospecting and mining. Despite the fact that it has attracted only minimal attention in the West—although it has been the focus of much concern in Japan and China—this new decision is extremely important for at least five critical reasons.
First, it closes a major fishing area to Japan and China, depriving them of an important harvest and forcing them to compete even more intensively elsewhere in the Western Pacific where tensions between the two Asian powers have been growing. Indeed, those tensions are now so great that US Secretary of State John Kerry felt compelled to tell Japan that the United States will ensure the security of its land territory (RT, February 7). But Kerry’s statement did not address an even more critical issue in Japan: China’s and now Russia’s imposition of economic exclusion zones in the oceans. To counter that, Tokyo presently feels compelled to build a larger navy (japanfocus.org, April 28), and some in Japan may even feel the need to develop a nuclear capacity.
Second, the expansive Russian claim on the Sea of Okhotsk will only further embolden China to make claims in the oil-rich South China Sea, claims that are already sparking conflict between Beijing, on the one hand, and Tokyo and Washington, on the other. China will certainly invoke the Okhotsk decision in order to secure its own Law of the Sea (LOS) sanctions.

NATO Deputy Secretary General Alexander Vershbow now says that the allied group has been compelled to treat Russia “as more of an enemy than a partner,” according to an Associated Press report published Thursday.
The 61-year-old former United States ambassador to Russia reportedly told journalists this week that Moscow’s role in the ongoing crisis in Ukraine has forced NATO to reconsider the alliance’s opinion on Russia, and that additional troops may soon be mobilized to the region as tensions worsen.
AP journalist Robert Burns wrote on Thursday that Vershbow said the Kremlin’s perceived part in the recent events in Ukraine “marks a turning point in decades of effort by NATO to draw Moscow closer.”
NATO’s second-in-command reportedly told journalists that the alliance is now considering new measures meant to counter any future acts of aggression on the part of Russia aimed at partner nations, and soon could deploy a larger number of combat forces to Eastern Europe.
Journalists reporting for Civil.Ge wrote on Thursday that Vershbow told the audience at a panel discussion in Washington, DC one day earlier that NATO should deploy “defensive assets to the region.”
“We need to step up our support for defense reforms and military modernization of Russia’s neighbors, and not just of Ukraine, but also Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan,” Vershbow said, according to the Civil Georgia site.
NATO should think about “upgrading” joint exercises among partner nations, the site quoted Vershbow as saying during the event, while acknowledging that deploying forces to Georgia would be a “controversial” maneuver.
“It is also important for the United States to show leadership… to make sure that next steps that NATO will make, for example at the summit in September, will be adequate response to what’s happening in Ukraine,” the Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Alasania said during the discussion.
“The West should now seize the opportunity and create the reality on the ground by accepting membership of aspirant countries, by putting purely defensive assets in aspirant countries and predominantly in Georgia,” Alasania added. “What is important now is to put some deterrent capabilities on the ground like air defense and anti-armor capabilities that will give us a chance to defend our freedom, because we know that if things go wrong at this point no one is coming to save us; we’ve seen that in 2008.”
Earlier this week, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said the builduip of NATO troops near Russia’s border was “unprecedented.” Weeks earlier, the US Air Force commander in charge of NATO’s military presence in Europe said that US troops may soon be deployed to the region as tensions continue to worsen near the border between Ukraine and Russia.
For weeks now, officials in Washington and Kiev have claimed that the recent separation of Crimea from Ukraine and the rash of uprisings in the country’s eastern part are the direct result of destabilization efforts spearheaded by Moscow, and both the US and European Union have introduced several rounds of sanctions against Russia as a result. The Kremlin has refuted these claims and rebuffed the sanctions, however, and earlier this week Russian Pres. Vladimir Putin accused the White House of orchestrating the Ukrainian crisis.
“I think what is happening now shows us who really was mastering the process from the beginning. But in the beginning, the United States preferred to remain in the shadow,” Putin said this week.
...and there you have it, as always it's not a matter of if there will be a war, but when.

Dutch Arrest 30 Greenpeace Activists Blocking Russian Tanker
http://www.ndtv.com/article/world/dutch-arrest-30-greenpeace-activists-b...
Hague: Dutch police on Thursday arrested around 30 Greenpeace activists, including the captain of the lobby group's flagship Rainbow Warrior, as they tried to stop a Russian tanker delivering Arctic oil from docking.
"The captain has been arrested and the ship is being taken elsewhere," Rotterdam police spokesman Roland Eckers told AFP of the Rainbow Warrior…
...Last year's protest, which saw two campaigners attempt to scale the rig, prompted Russian authorities to seize Greenpeace's Dutch-flagged Arctic Sunrise boat and detain the 30 activists and journalists on board.
- Pristine Arctic ecology -
Greenpeace argues that the Gazprom rig is an environmental catastrophe waiting to happen that risks ruining the pristine Arctic ecology of the southern Barents Sea where the deposit is located.
The 26 foreign and four Russian activists had faced lengthy prison terms before Moscow announced amnesties after almost three months.
The crew spent several weeks detained in local jails before being transferred to Saint Petersburg and released on bail. Originally facing a charge of piracy, they were later targeted with the less severe hooliganism accusation.
An international maritime court in Germany in November told Russia to release the activists and the ship in response to a formal complaint lodged by the Netherlands, under whose flag the ship sailed.
Russia boycotted the German court hearings and ignored the ruling.
Greenpeace is suing Russia before the European Court of Human Rights for what it says was the illegal detention of its activists as it breached the right to freedom of expression.
Russian authorities are still holding the Arctic Sunrise icebreaker.
Any war historian can spot the HORRIBLE ERRORS being made by Russia.
Zero Hedge, all your Russia-love fest is misdirected. It is TRAGIC and it is going to look quite grotesque once Mother Russia's compromised positions are exploited.
Czarina Vladima does NOT, SHOULD NOT equal Russia.
Your love, here, of the Littlest Princess, Putin, is like the love of a corpse.
I ate bacon today and it is good. I will be presumptuous and believe that Putin eats a strip or two of bacon from time to time, just an assumption, but I believe I am correct.
That said, the jews don't eat bacon and maybe some do, and that is the reason why the price is as high as it is, but nevermind that, maybe some jews know what bacon tastes like, but those who have never tasted bacon are just too stupid to give it a try, a lost opportunity, so they are left behind.
The dumb fucks, you dumb fucking jews, and fuck you, Bernanke.
There was no such thing as "jew" when that law was set down...
Those are health laws given to Hebrew Israelites to avoid filthy scavenger parasites and poisons.
It is sound and proven knowledge.
Nothing to do with what you think...been dumbed down much?
Do not confuse real with imposters.
SAKER: Kyiv declares draft, etc...http://vineyardsaker.blogspot.com/2014/05/yet-another-totally-crazy-idea...
The IMF is the tool of America and Western Europe. The idea of America getting involved in a war in Ukraine would have been hard to imagine a few years ago. As I write this we are engaged in a war of words but the potential for this to escalate into a shooting war is real. Allowing events to deteriorate into a major war or possibly into what some see as World War III is becoming a reality.
As insane as it appears this could become the final outcome. The location of this as a military confrontation is right in Putin's backyard and this is a strong advantage for Russia. It is silly to think Putin and Russia will back down. This means poking the bear is not a smart move. It should be noted the military of Ukraine is divided and extremely weak. More about this subject in the article below.
