The Department of Agriculture Launches Proposal To Purchase Submachine Guns

Tyler Durden's picture

Submitted by Mike Krieger of Liberty Blitzkrieg blog,

The following solicitation from the U.S. Department of Agriculture almost defies belief. We’ve seen this type of bizarre behavior before, but it has mostly originated from the American Gestapo, aka the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). I highlighted this trend early last year in my post: Department of Homeland Security to Purchase 7,000 “Assault Weapons”.

Here’s a screenshot of the solicitation from the Department of Agriculture (click on the image to get to the source page):

Screen Shot 2014-05-15 at 11.05.18 AM

What is so important to understand about the current war/civil unrest cycle that the world has now entered into is that it will affect different regions and nations differently. It appears tensions in the Ukraine/Russia region and the Asia/Pacific may rather quickly erupt into a war amongst nation-states. This could ultimately lead to a world war. For the United States region, I predict more of a rebellion and civil unrest scenario that consists of the status quo versus the people. I also think its obvious the status quo knows this, which is why they are stealing everything in sight and setting up a total surveillance state. Things are going to get dicey, but the status quo is in the wrong and they will need to be tossed aside peacefully.

The solicitation can be found here.

I'm thinking that the winner of the bid have their factory destroyed by common Americans, including the death of the owner!  That'll start things rolling......and

As long as a revolution starting, maybe the cops who murdered that old homeless guy in New Mexico will be identified and slow hanged  from a cherry picker like thay do in iran.  That's the kind of justice America needs to see!

And an American Military revolt in the interest of the US Constitution would go well also!

Sounds like they want MP-5s, which are made in Germany by HK.

Take a look at the .26 Nosler. 1000# at 1000 yrds, and does not go subsonic until 1800yrds. But, .308 ammo is everywhere. Just a thought.

So, you own a Garand? Wonderful rifle. I truly love them. As I recall, they have a 2 grove barrel. That is the shortfall of the original design. If you know a gunsmith, get them to re barrel it with a modern barrel with an odd number grove pattern. 24", 1-10 twist 5r or polygonal rifling from Schnieder in the original contour.

It's set up for national match, including the barrel.  I killed my elk last year with it, so I know it'll do the trick.  It has a 1-10 twist, but I pretty much don't shoot anything heavier than 168s through it, so I could go with a slower twist.  I mainly shoot 155s through it.  It really seems to like them.

The Dept. of Agriculture needs machine guns?

The hell with this, I think it's time for ME to get some guns...I never really felt the need, but apparently EVERYBODY is arming themselves.

I have to protect my 'stash' after all. But I'll tell you, if I DO go that route, I'll do it BIG. I'll get me some of that military surplus crap. I'll mine my front yard, and dig pits with punji sticks on the bottom. I'll mount a 50-caliber machine gun on the roof, and skulk around my property in cammo, glaring at the neighbors...

I had a neat idea recently. How about rigging a sprinkler system up with a tank of gasoline? It'll need some adjustments, like replacing rubber washers with something that won't break down, but that wouldn't be hard.

If you had heard the two usda people behind me at a food safety conference  snicker and exhale loudly everytime a a small grower questioned the GAP policies, you would not think they were scared of us. They despise us. GAP allows for them to come unannounced onto your property anytime they feel like it, and to charge you $90 plus an hour to do it, starting at the time they leave their office.

Even though you are GAP certified to grow and sell, that does not protect you from closure if they deem it fit.  All thanks to Waxman from California.

Also states with legit pot. DOA gots to expand the burocracy into dat. Can't have no body, growing, raising no nothing without Fedgov getting involved.

Plus dogs. Why should cops have all the fun.

Also I bet they've been feeling less manly compared to, say, Dept of Edgamakation SWAT team.

The US Forest Service is under the Department of Ag. Each National Forest as at least one if not more Law Enforcement Rangers. A good friend of mine was the LE Ranger for the Lassen National Forest. His LE Ranger SUV was outfitted with a shotgun and a M-16. He carried a .40 SIG as his sidarm. It could be that they are replacing there old M-16 with the .40 sub guns,

What gave you that idea?  Raising chickens falls under your local city/county codes.  If you sell eggs then you go through your state department of ag.  I have 10 backyard chickens and I would LOVE for some fucking USDA asshole to knock on my door and tell me that I had to "register" them.

Better stock up on heirloom seeds you goatwhores, because eventually it'll be illegal to grow your own food.

Growing your own food and living as self-sustaining as you possibly can is a powerful act of defiance in the eyes of a tyrannical government.

You can really cut down on the number of enemies the citizens have to remove by starting at the financial top and then moving down the ladder. That will give you the most bang for the buck so to speak.

You own farmland? Think it is better than gold? Well, there is going to be collectivization in the name of "Food Fairness". The collective will include many new immigrants with recent experience picking lettuce and tomatoes and will be run on strictly democratic principles. Kulaks can assemble to vote next to the pit they dug yesterday out by the cornfields.

Think

They need guns because they have, are, or will do something VERY BAD. My guess is that they have, and are, doing something very bad. Best guess? Poison. They spray wheat and sugar cane with Roundup at harvest time AS A "DRYING" AGENT. They could use a non toxic drying agent that doesn't leave cancer causing neurotoxins IN the food. While they were supposed to regulate agriculture for the betterment of the citizens, they have been complicit in frankenfood development, Corn from the midwest has Roundup INSIDE it already. There is much evidence of eugenics and population control and sterilization using food as the vector. Is that bad? If you knew it and worked there, would you want a machine gun? Bee Colony Collapse Disorder is proven to be caused by pesticides: that took too long to prove and they still haven't stopped using it. Who is the department working for?

The most frightening thought is that they're going to do something worse than the above, for which they need guns.

The DoA is also looking to buy bullet resistant vests.  They must be expecting a very big locust invasion.

Why does every federal department now have a private domestic army while Obama is dismantling the real military?  The answer can be seen in history, but most Americans are too busy to notice.

The threat here is serious. I myself have been stalked by corn and these terroristic threats must be met with equal deadly force.

But on the other side of the equation. This is what happens when farmers (private citizen) accepts money from the public treasury in the form of federal price supports for their crops. The fed ties summary conditions to the PRIVILEGE and now extends its enforcement powers into what would otherwise be strictly private/AG activity subject to State police power regulation.

Look at the Wickard case. Same scenerio. Wheat was the object of federal price support under the fed Agricultural ACT (circa 1936). Translated: The federal government can tie summary conditions to the receipt of public money as long as those conditions have some nexus (however tenuous) to an enumerated power. (On the State level, see South Dakota v Dole) So wheat (property) moving in commerce is now subject to plenary control and any activity that could affect the price target of the wheat is now under the summary control of the federal legislature. Remember, we are dealing with the taxing and spending clauses as strictly legislative functions under separation of powers>

TRANSLATED: The federal; Congress has determined that if you grow your own wheat(property) for personal consumption, you are no longer a consumer in the market of said subsidized product therefore the activity (cause and effect) can reduce demand and therefore negatively impact targeted price support. RE translate; PLow your fucking wheat(property) crop under or we will send out the alphabet brothers with heleicopters and machine guns to enforce the law. Case in point, the recent Bundy Ranch fiasco.

Oh, and you can thank the courts for this mess as it has been through their intrepretaion of the constitution that those limits have been bypassed by removing the TRUE ISSUE OF PROPERTY RIGHTS from the jurisdiction of the courts as the courts are estopped from interfereing with political questions. DENIAL OF STANDING TO REDRESS INJURIES AND WRONGS TO PROPERTY THROUGH WAIVERS.

Am I the only one that gets this??????

If they have already taken the moral LOW GROUND, we are already on the higher ground. They're circling the wagons. We're crawling with Border Patrol out on the upper left hand corner of the Pacific Northwest. They're not looking for illegals and they're not making drug busts but they are constantly going into logging roads and have set up seismic and infrared sensors. The lower peons (the actual BP cops) maybe have no clue of their future mission (checkpoints, etc?) but they appear to be forward recon because they ain't doin' shit but driving around and looking arrogant as hell when you run into one face to face at the Joyce General Store or the skinny little fed BP cop I almost bumped into at Taco Bell in Port Angeles.
