Were I the President, I would airlift a brigade into the Kurdish area to protect them and cut off the supply lines from Syria. And I would then reoccupy an airbase that the US built on the border with Iran. Where'd they stay until further notice. Every Arab 'ally' is watching this and the entire balance of power could shift, it could precipitate a grave miscalculation by anyone including Russia, China, Iran or the proxy Islamist scrounge like Hellezballa.
