If the roles were reversed, and Hamas had the modern army, what would be the jewish death toll? A thoughtful analysis would show that Israel targets combatants and civilians are collateral damage. The Palestanians target civilians as their principal military strategy. Isn't it foolish to get into the whole, "who took whose land," debate? It can be taken back to the beginning of time. Wouldn't it be more productive to build two peaceful societies living together? That would certainly require fewer American tax dollars in the long run.

Reading that propaganda means you got it backwards. I actually know people that live in Israel. I know people from Jordan and Lebanon as well. The propaganda flows from both sides and you are just repeating it. In this case Hamas's propaganda. The article you reference claims that Israel has economic sanctions on West Bank and this is not true. They do control the port and filter out heavy weapons. If they didn't Israel would be fighting Hamas in the streets. Israel has a right to defend itself and that means taking preemptive action if necessary. Palestinian leaders have rejected a two state solution time after time. They make it clear that there only solution is the destruction of Israel. As someone else pointed out it's about time Palestinians removed these thugs and move on with a real state. They have been used by criminal thugs for far to long. Palestinians that work in Israel, and they do, do so in secret because the leadership will kill them if they are discovered. There are two prevailing narratives that come from this region. One from Israelis claiming they only defend themselves and the other from Hamas claiming they are innocent victims of Israeli apartheid. What you don't know is that Hamas has made a concerted effort in the last ten years to build this false narrative through social networks, university, media etc. and they have been very successful at it. Israel has it's own propaganda arm and have built a narrative that is closer to the truth than Hamas. The narrative from Hamas is that the West Bank is some sort of ghetto but the truth is they come and go into Israel and have Iphones and Ipads, malls you name it. Not saying it's perfect just not how it's portrayed. But it is ghetto like by the way it's run by thugs with very different agendas.
