Flight MH-17 Black Boxes To Be Analyzed In "Impartial" London
Now that the black boxes from flight MH-17 have been handed over by the Ukraine separatists to Malaysian authorities (somewhat denting the credibility of the fabricated Ukrainian YouTube clip in which the rebels were "instructed" by Moscow to hide the black boxes), there was one question: which impartial entity and/or country would be tasked with an objective retrieval and analysis of the contents. A little while ago we got the answer courtesy of none other than UK Prime Minister David Cameron:

Britain's prime minister says black boxes from the Malaysia Airlines plane downed in eastern Ukraine will be examined by U.K. air accident investigators.
David Cameron said on Twitter that British experts at the Air Accidents Investigation Branch will retrieve data from the flight recorders for analysis, following a request from the Dutch government.
Earlier Tuesday, pro-Russia separatists in Ukraine handed the two black boxes from Flight 17 over to Malaysian investigators in the city of Donetsk. Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak said the handover was part of an agreement he had reached with rebel leader Alexander Borodai.
Najib said the black boxes appeared "to be in good condition."
It remains to be seen if the Air Traffic Control recordings with flight MH17 which as we reported last week were confiscated by the Ukraine secret service, would also be provided to London for a comparable objective inquiry.
In the meantime, we await said "objective" conclusion of what the Farnborough crack investigators uncover, the same investigators from the unquestionably objective UK, whose Prime Minister also made the tape one short hour ago, after he "lost patience with Vladimir Putin’s “bluster and obfuscation” on Monday night and called on Europe to impose “hard-hitting sanctions” on Russia after the downing of Flight MH17. In his strongest intervention since the disaster, which killed 298 people, the Prime Minister invoked the spectre of the Second World War and compared Russia’s aggression to that of Nazi Germany."

They will delay any disclosure of their box analysis until the politics have settled out a bit. If Russia looks to be escaping the blame, or if the proof against the separatists appears too weak, then the recording will provide incontrovertible proof that the Russians were behind the whole thing. If it looks like the world squarely blames Russia and further sanctions come out of Europe, then the boxes will be inconclusive. They can bet that Russia has a copy and will not try and use it unless they must.
This is a process of escalation where they seek conflict without fault or responsibility. Pushing Russia into a fight by trying to force Russia to take the first swing. Russia may be playing rope-a-dope with Obama, waiting for him to stumble, falling on his own sword. Many of have disappointedly been waiting for the same for years. With each political attack Putin gains credibility at home and loses it around the world. He can stay on the ropes for only so long and will have to come out swinging. Lets hope it stays with a battle of words.

I see your confusion. My post meant the force was used to hold the border closed from Kiev's forces to move into Crimea before the people could vote in peace. Not that force was used inside Crimea. I meant only the check points securing the border, the the prevention of Kiev's military form leaving their Crimea bases. If some Russian force has not stopped Kiev's forces, then the election could never have been held.

It is probably true to say that the UK AAIB are among the best experts available, but their findings will most certainly have to be cleared by Cameron's government henchmen before release.

Black box in this case won't help anything. Black box analysis is necessary if there is some kind of meltfunction in plane - but in this case everyone knows what happened - it was shot down. What is nessary to understand who push the button for rocket that shot it down, and you won't find out that from black box.

Can somebody enlighten me, why did Russians gave away both boxes without any insurance policy? Especially knowing that the Ukrainian secret service already confiscated all records in regards to this flight.... Don't they know that in the modern, western politics decency is not permitted ? Is it one of those fatalistic, Russian flavored attitudes? Are they just letting it all go? I'm totally perplexed by this careless and naive attitude. Unless, there is something else invisible to us all.
Because, the boxes don't do anything but record airplane data and crew voices. They don't record that the aircraft failure was due to a missile let alone who fired it. Everyone already knows that the plane was shot down, so they have nothing to lose. The headlines are all just sensasionalism.

I asked the same question earlier. Seems nobody is interested in it.
The most logical explanation I found so far is not a comfortable one...
I do not think, that Putin and his government would make such a mistake.
So excluding a mistak on the Russian side, the conclusion is, that they delivered the black boxes and they must have calculated that they could land in conspirative hands.
Thesis 1: They already have the data and have analyzed it.
Highly improbable. Extracting the data can take months. And since private companies, like Honeywell for Boeing, are producing the boxes, it's possible that Russia does not have all tools readily available to map and interpret the extracted data immediately.
Thesis 2: Russia wanted to get rid of the black boxes. No matter where they land.
Why?
Answer: They do not want to annex eastern Ukraine (contrary to the anti-Russian propaganda). If the black box lands in conspirative hands the possibility increases, that the claims, the separatists were behind it, increase. This could be the ticket for Putin to distance him from the separatists without losing his face in Russia.
The separatists would be sacrificed for the well being of Russia.
Putin is NOT a nationalist. He is a patriot in the sense of defending the state. Similar to monarchs, where the people didn't count, but only the state was important.
Counter argument: In the last days Russia has offered lots of hard facts that make the ZOGs allegations questionable.
BUT: Russia did never fingerpoint. They always talked about a tragedy.
But what is a tragedy? A tragedy is something that happens and nobody can avoid it. A crime is not a tragedy. This wording made me somewhat suspicious from the very beginning.
So the acting of Russia in the last days could have been a warning to the West: do not escalate this, we have lots of evidences that can proove you lying.
Maybe behind the scenes there is already a deal: the West stops to blame Russia for it, and Russia gave them the black boxes and stops supporting the separatists.

What I've noticed is that Russia often allows enemies some kind of "way out", so that they can walk away without too much fuss and with dignity. Russia just wants to be left alone and be free from the leaches that's been sucking the blood of Russia since 1917.
Awhile back, I read a book called "When Presidents Lie: A History of Official Deception and Its Consequences". It clearly describes how often defeated political opponents were declared as winners even though they were totally destroyed. I believe there is plenty of wisdom in this attitude; this way you don't always have to fight to death.

So Kiev and NATO then kick the shit out of the Separatists, take eastern Ukraine, and end up on Russia's doorstep. Sounds like a monumental strategic loss to Russia, essentially marking the end of it having any influence over its own historic backyard. Game-set-match. The NWO and banksters win.

If we look back, Putin is not acting aggressively. He is much more reacting, or waits until he makes his move, and then they are perfect.
For example Syria. In the last moment he rescued the world from war and opened Obama a way out - while the West was acting agressively.
Or let's take Crimea: here Russia acted quickly and took initiative. But why? Because the Black Sea is seen as a matter of Life and death for Russia and if they would have not acted, the consequences would have been clear: Sevastopol and the Black Sea would have been lost and NATO controlling it.
After the Russians in E.Ukraine saw the success of their brothers in reunification with the motherland the revolt in the east of Ukraine gained speed. But contrary to the Ziopropaganda and Putin and his government always said so, that they do not want the Ukraine fall apart, that they support the unity of Ukraine.
While in Crimea Russia acted within a weekend, in E.Ukraine to me it seems they decelerated. Does Russia need E.Ukraine? No. Contrary to Crimea.
Overall I think you are right, although I wouldn't call it checkmate, but the encirclement of Russia progresses. It fits nicely into the development of the last 25 years: NATO has broken all promises torwards Russia. Russia is being encircled, rockets placed around it. And Putin was not willing or capable to stop it.
But on the other hand Putin plays a slow but steady card: i.e. the cooperation with China. The BRICS bank.
Russia is huge. This means it has time. While I'm not sure if the ZOGs have much time left.

The recorders should have been given to EASA, the European Aviation Safety Administration, in Koln, Germany, under serious lockdown. EASA should have take the boxes to the box manufacturer and, with all interested parties in attendance, including Boeing, analyzed them in everyone's presence.
The only thing of real interest is the cockpit voice recorder which might shed some light on any instructions received from Kiev tower. Those conversations are recorded elsewhere, but nobody is giving them up.
It shouldn't take long, its just a cockpit sound recording.
