As Obama Launches Another Iraq Assault, Here Is An Undercover Look Inside ISIS

Tyler Durden's picture

While the biggest geopolitical news of the past week was Obama's announcement he would become only the fourth president in a row to order military action in Iraq, explicitly targeting the ISIS jihadists, the far bigger question are the developments that spurred the administration to finally act.

The NYT reports that "as the tension mounted in Washington" the catalyst for Obama's decision was sudden developments surrounding the Kurdistan capital, Erbil. "Kurdish forces who had been fighting the militants in three nearby Christian villages abruptly fell back toward the gates of the city, fanning fears that the city might soon fall. By Thursday morning, people were thronging the airport, desperate for flights out of town. "The situation near Erbil was becoming more dire than anyone expected," said a senior administration official, speaking on the condition of anonymity to describe the White House’s internal deliberations. “We didn’t want another Benghazi."

The reason for this is that the US has an embassy in Erbil: that falling to ISIS would be the supreme punch in the gut for an administration whose foreign policy has become the butt of all global jokes. What's worse, now that ISIS had taken control of a critical dam in Mosul (which as we reported earlier controls water levels on the Tigris levels as far as Baghdad, and whose capture "shook Kurdish officials and fueled the sense of crisis" as it gave ISIS all of the leverage) the US embassy could be flooded should ISIS blow up the dam in question.

In other words, Obama merely took to arms after the threat of another massive foreign humiliation became all too real and when the reality that the Kurdish defense was about to fall. Of course, the actual stated reason for intervention was different, a far more noble one.

At a 90-minute meeting in the Situation Room on Thursday morning, Mr. Obama was briefed again about the plight of the Iraqis stranded on Mount Sinjar. Members of an ancient religious sect known as Yazidi, they were branded as devil worshipers by the militants. The women were to be enslaved; the men were to be slaughtered.

Officials told Mr. Obama there was a real danger of genocide, under the legal definition of the term. “While we have faced difficult humanitarian challenges, this was in a different category,” said an official. “That kind of shakes you up, gets your attention.”

At 11:20 a.m., Mr. Obama left the meeting to travel to Fort Belvoir, Va., where he signed a bill expanding health care for veterans. He had all but made up his mind to authorize airstrikes, officials said, and while he was away, his team drafted specific military options.

When the president returned to the White House barely an hour later, he went back into meetings with his staff. By then, there were news reports of airdrops and possible strikes. But the White House “hunkered down,” an official said, refusing to comment on the reports for fear of endangering a nighttime airdrop over Mount Sinjar.

Mr. Obama did not announce the operations until dawn had broken in Iraq, a delay of several hours that added to the panic in Erbil. Reports of explosions near the city at dusk on Thursday night sowed confusion after Kurdish officials said the United States had begun airstrikes on the militants. The Pentagon flatly denied the reports.

The rest is now well-known (the full breakdown can be found here), and culminated with Obama's Thursday announcement as well as the immediate launch of bombing raids on ISIS militants.

Here is the most recent Iraq situation report courtesy of the Institute for the Study of War.

Within the past 24 hours, ISIS seized Mosul Dam. This capture provides ISIS strategic advantage over the Iraqi state. The dam's collapse would severely damage vast areas of the country where ISIS seeks to achieve military victory but has encountered heavy resistance. Also, ISIS now controls electricity production to Mosul and the group extends its claimed territory farther north. ISIS continues to fight the Peshmerga in Makhmour, south of Mosul and the IA in Dhuluiya, north of Baghdad. Although the United States conducted two rounds of targeted airstrikes against ISIS held territory outside of Arbil and Mosul, it remains too early to determine whether or not the group will adjust its military strategy. ISIS is likely hardening territorial boundaries for the Islamic Caliphate east of Mosul, but ISW assess ISIS will not attempt to seize Erbil. Still, fear of an ISIS attack on Erbil has peaked.

So now that the attention is once again back to ISIS, whose dramatic success in forming the caliphate was lost to the world following the return of hostilities in Ukraine and the escalation of the second Cold War, here are, courtesy of Vice News, the first two parts of a series looking at life in the Islamic State caliphate. Vice News reporter Medyan Dairieh spent three weeks embedded with the Islamic State, gaining access to the group in Iraq and Syria as the first and only journalist to document its inner workings.

In part 1, Dairieh heads to the frontline in Raqqa, where Islamic State fighters are laying siege to the Syrian Army’s division 17 base.

In Part 2 filmmaker Medyan Dairieh meets an Islamic State member from Belgium who works to indoctrinate some of the youngest members of the group. He also gains further insight into the minds of Islamic State fighters as they host celebrations and military parades featuring American tanks and APCs seized from the Iraqi army.

That kind of kumbaya mentality is the basis of the N.W.O.  If we can only tangle ourselves up in so many free trade and banking deals that if someone declares war on the other it would so severely affect their own economy that their leaders would do away with the wish for war.

Great......the only problem.....it makes slaves of us all to a global cabal of international elites.

Besides......the N.W.O. doesn't mind a little Muzzie Chaos like ISIS or the Taliban or Al-Queda.  It gives them the cover to tighten the noose around ALL of our necks.  In the name of peace.....and the children.....of course.

Ideally, all humans living as one country (each treating others as self) would be the ultimate wisdom, and practically a smart thing to do. If every sheeple used their head properly they would do this, its the only way to utopia("happily ever after") if ever there is one.

Now for the REAL REALITY: they will behead your ass, first rape you and yours, pile your heads, stick them on poles OR if you are willing to convert they will enslave you (until you and your offsprings start yelling takbir like rabbid dogs). This lesson is well known to all humans who tried to think like you (eg: hindus/buddhists occupied by muslims).

Get real dude, living in amerika eating cheatos and typing wisdom is not reality. Since you are wisdomy type, i will give you a tip "world doesn't change, but you can" think hard about that.

game theory explains evolution [which I studied a fair amount back in undergrad] like the rules of baseball explain how to play chess.

It's a nice idea, but he's not thinking like a scientist, he's thinking like a Leftist ideologue who wants to reduce human beings to he ontological caricature [if you will] demanded by his worldview.

Sometimes TED talks remind me of the sort of happy horseshit PBS airs during fund drives - Dr. Wayne Dyer and that Indian doctor who thinks he understands particle physics but doesn't even understand the basic concepts....

just my opinion of course, i could be wrong.

Your points may be accepted, except for this.

- Your atempt at moral equvalency with historical atrocities commited by non muslims and attrtocities being committed by muslims is BS from a scale, repentance and ability to change perspective.

- Islam is a mind controlled, cult of death. It is not reformable, adaptable or changeable. it will destroy any non believer and willl maintain itself as it has for centuries in a monolithic state of political and religjous ideology.

THERE IS NOTHING ELSE TO SAY ABOUT ISLAM. - It is what it is and has forever been.

A few months ago if I had asked any of my friends whether they were concerned about ISIS,  they would have said "what's ISIS?"  Then, out of the woodwork, ISIS becomes a military powerhouse and overruns Iraq in short order.  Meanwhile, we're supposed to accept ISIS as a household word, reported by every presstitute media outlet as though it is something that's been around forever. Oh, and don't forget that illustrious press conference by our beloved dictator telling us how we're leaving Iraq as a self sustaining democracy.  The population in every country and culture that we touch is doomed to misery. And yet, we never stop spreading "democracy" for the good of all mankind.  Disgusting.

Yawn...  Obama's polls are in the toilet, just like past presidents, he needs some non-threatening wars to get 'em back up. Dropping some bombs on his former Syria love-child ISIS is just what his internal pollsters want.

He won't drop bombs on Russia though, because that would be a real war against a capable enemy and he could get his azzz whipped. Additonally, there wouldn't be anyone left that he could boss around even if he won.

I am not against humanitarian aid but for the surrounded Yazidis we should NOT have commenced military actions against ISIS - that is a job for the Iraqi military.  You know, Iraq was a very secular state with Baghdad being called the Paris of the Mideast in the '80s.  People had free education and a very modern medical care system - we certainly did a number on them but that should not come as a surprise as we have a collection of 535 imbeciles, thugs, charlatans, brain-dead octogenarians, flim-flam men, self-righteous religious bigots, and most of all - Israeli ass-kissers and dick-suckers who have no principles nor morals...

ISIS is the front, the mule for Bernanke. Bernanke gives the ops in Belgium money to buy treasury supply that Russia (and others) are dumping on the market. ISIS in turn gives the UST bonds back to Bernanke, who repatriots the bonds he just bought, thus squaring the circle. for their trouble ISIS gets a small plot of land west of Baghdad. this new land becomes a sovereign nation, established for immigrant muslims living in Europe to return to their homeland (sound familiar like 1948?) the US raises a fuss at first over the terrorism and killing that go with nation building, but they recognize ISIS right to exist and give them military and economic aid. the balance of power in the ME is established, (although for Jordan its a bad day, there are few people in Jordan, and mostly the rockets fly over them).

Things have deteriorated to the point that Americans are using every opportunity to take their eyes off what is happening in Iraq, the country has become a train wreck and is rapidly morphing into a failed State. It is often unwise to take your eyes off a problem for long because when you look back you might find that things have gone horribly wrong, this is the case in Iraq and Syria.

The lyrics from a song "slip sliding away" come to mind as a way to describe the massive investment made in Iraq by America. Recently a group called ISIS shocked much of the world by swiftly capturing Mosul in an offensive that allowed the group to take control of major parts of northern and western Iraq. On June 29, 2014 the Islamist militants declared  an Islamic "caliphate" in an area straddling Iraq and Syria. More on this subject in the article below.

It's great to be able to analyze markets, but it's also important not to develop mental bad habits, such as looking at a war as some sort of investment.

The invaders of Iraq did not "invest" in that country, unless destroying things and killing people constitutes "investment."

I'm not scared of xenos.

Besides......La Raza does want to see the downfall of America.  They see America and its citizenship laws as illegitimate.  They look at America as an occupying force in the southwest.  It is their highest goal to take back the land they deem is their's even if they have to use or ignore American law to do it.

I'm not scared of that.  If the American sheeple keep electing and re-electing politicians in line with La Raza'a goals.....then the American people have spoken.

So La Raza does have common interests with ISIS.  They want to see the downfall of corrupt, illegitamate America.  They differ in the ways and means.  They also want a different environment.  La Raza wants a revitalized and greater Aztec /  Mexican empire.   ISIS wants a Caliphate.

But you have to take over America first.   They both want that.

And that's not xenophobia.  That's a fact.

And they are well on their way to doing it.  Between demographics and dumb ass political leftist American politicians they will get it back.

ISIS also wants land they think is theirs for a greater empire.  They too are Marxist in nature and Nationalist in the sense that their nation is a religious Caliphate.  And they want to see the downfall of corrupt America.

They have common interests.

The article gets to the heart of the matter quickly:

Irbil was about to become another Benghazi, and without a video to blame this time, Barry would OWN IT.

Footage of dead/decapitated Americans on the internet would have ruined Barry's vacation, hence the quick action.

Seeking to deflect the conversation from Benghazi comparisons, these Christians were a convenient smokescreen for the lamestream to push the compassionate "stop the genocide" narrative.  This gave cover to Leftys like Lie-awatha Warren to support the strikes.

Once any ISIS threat to US personnel in Irbil is beaten back, those Christians are on their own, and will be quickly forgotten by the White House and lamestream.

I guess the tri-lats running Obama's FP never read any books about Arab peoples history.

When you create a vacuum in a battle space like Syria (remember Obama's secret war in Syria) and dismantle Baathists steeped in British education and modernity from Iraq and Syria and blast them into the desert AND then fund these guys through Saudi princes trying to get the West's overall support to be the next King of Saudi AND fuel a global conduit for fighters from Libya to Chechnya with no education, tolerance or prospects and mount all those people in a giant cat box - you are going to make a mess.

I get it folks.  Get the Muslims to kill each other off.  But in the process you kill everyone else.  But if the US could never hold the ground on AfPak or Iraq after 10 years, what really makes you think that after these yahoos motor into Mecca they won't turn their attention to Tel Aviv?

If you EVER see a cross pollination between these IS guys and people in Cairo you might as well hunker down for the zombie apocalypse. Maybe the logistic chain for these guys can be pulled overnight, but when you start wrapping kids in Black Flags, you have an entire generation of killers being manufactured.

As usual, things are not as they seem.

Militarily weak, ISIS is allowed to wreak havoc on this area of the world to make a point.

This is really obvious to me.  But it will be the MSM narrative that people take in.  Citizens will fork over dollars and BEG their elected officials to "do something!".

And don't think this is all about the machinations of the USA at this stage.  Iran and the Malaki government are allowing the ISIS dog off the leash to demonstrate the stupidity of the USA and International position on the Syrian civil war.

Seriously, the Shiite coalition of Iran/Iraq/Syria is looking like a "hero in waiting".

Will the Shiites come to rescue the world from Islamic State Incorporated?  Will President Asad and Malaki launch a war to brink civility back to the region?  Stay tuned!  The script is almost fully drafted!

ISIS EX MACHINA

I have been very suspicious ever since Isis appeared in Iraq, grabbed oil and gas fields and became odds on favorite to take over the country that America recently destroyed.

I believe there is more to ISIS than meets the jaded, blood-shot Western eye.

We are subject to so much propaganda these days, really, how difficult is it for those struggling against the West, to give their mothers-in-law buzz cuts, dress them in Syrian or Iraqi army uniforms, and behead them on video tape?

Our American Nero may say we're going back into Iraq to prevent genocide, but I say to him "wipe the crude oil off your lips, dudeface."

Oh and ISIS' press agent or whatever is the worst actor in the history of acting. Wonder how Vice got ISIS to agree to the whole embedded reporter thing. Who are the people behind the masks?  They move differently than the unmasked soldiers.  Consider the sophisticated technology they have stolen and how well trained they appear to be in the handling of this equipment.  Who is doing this training?  They say they are Muslims but they fight like western special forces using standard psi-ops techniques to traumatize, demoralize and spread fear amongst the enemy and subjugate the occupants. The Taliban are genuine Muslim fighters, you don't see them destroying Muslim holy sites no matter what sect.  When you consider their targets are primarily oil related one has to wonder exactly who is financing and running this outfit?

CIA and/or Mossad - primarily global criminal syndicates, there's probably been significant overlap since LBJ and cronies had JFK killed so Israel could have a free hand developing nukes.

Don't think Israel was involved in that either?  Check out the Michael Collins Piper book, or spend 20 minutes on the internet.

The case is not beyond a reasonable doubt, of course.  There are some great videos on youtube and elsewhere linking Bush the elder to the JFK assassination - I suspect he knows some details left out of the history books, but he wasn't the guy making the top level kill order.

And it wasn't just LBJ and Israel, there were certainly other factors, like JFK's efforts to control the CIA, and possibly, printing US government fiat....  though I think the executive order in question is not all that it's cracked up to be by the Alex Jonestowns and Jeff Renses out there....  jmo though.

Anyone remember when Admiral Morrison complained about the USS Liberty which Admiral McCain never sent the USS Libery help.   Shortly after, his rock star son gets arrested and is charged with a felony for something that no one actually saw.  The Doors were getting ripped off for that gig and did not want to play.

Jim goes to Paris and stays in the zio section of town and ends up dead.  No one sees the body.

Who got a huge contract controversial expensive contract just before JFK was killed for the F-111 built in Fort Worth?

Lester AIPAC Crown.  Who supports and owns McCain and was Obama's earliest and biggest support?  Lester Crown.

Who was known to hand out big military contracts before and after he became President? LBJ.  LBJ was tribe too.

THE ORDEAL OF LESTER CROWN BY BOB TAMARKIN; Bob Tamarkin, a Chicago-based business writer, is the author of ''The New Gatsbys: Fortunes and Misfortunes of Commodity Traders.'' Published: December 7, 1986

FOR THREE DAYS LAST MARCH, BURT Smith, a Defense Department hearing examiner, sat in a stark chamber in the Ballston Towers office complex of Arlington, Va., and received testimony from two dozen of the most powerful and distinguished figures in the nation -all vouching for the integrity of one man.

On the face of it, the issue seemed less than monumental: the Pentagon was seeking to revoke a businessman's top-secret security clearance. The significance lay in the nature of the evidence, the financial and political stakes involved and the identity of the accused: 61-year-old Lester Crown, head of the billionaire Chicago family that controls America's largest defense contractor, the General Dynamics Corporation.

Among those who appeared or offered affidavits in his behalf: Three former Secretaries of State, two former Secretaries of Defense, and former Secretaries of Treasury and Commerce. Henry Kissinger praised Crown's ''extraordinary probity.'' Robert McNamara had ''every confidence in his integrity.'' David Packard, co-founder of the Hewlett-Packard Company and head of a Presidential commission that had just recommended sweeping changes in the organization of the Defense Department, vouched for his ''trustworthiness.''

On July 30, the examiner delivered his decision. Crown's security clearance was upheld. But within three weeks, the Pentagon returned to the attack, filing for an appeal. Crown's lawyers - the defense team was headed by Lloyd N. Cutler, counsel to President Carter, and Leonard Garment, counsel to President Nixon - say they were astonished. As of early last month, the matter was still unresolved.

The Pentagon maintains that Crown's role in a Chicago bribery scandal 14 years ago makes him unfit to hold the security clearance given him as a board member of St. Louis-based General Dynamics. But the case raises other issues, as well. It hinges on the battle between the Pentagon and Congress over misconduct and cost overruns by defense contractors, including General Dynamics. And it spotlights the power exercised by one family over a public company essential to the national defense effort. ON THE 12TH FLOOR OF THE MERCANTILE EX-change Building in Chicago's Loop is a regal office dominated by a huge mahogany desk. The room is unoccupied now - Henry Crown, the tough-minded financier who created the Crown empire, is 90 years old and mortally ill. Down the hall is a second office, more like a den, with a few papers placed neatly upon a small desk and one wall covered by family photographs. Here sits Henry's second son, Lester. Over the last decade, he has gradually assumed direction of the empire - the 23.2 percent stake in General Dynamics worth more than $700 million, significant positions in other public companies and private holdings in major industrial and real-estate enterprises. (See box, page 42.) Lester Crown's hair is just beginning to show signs of gray. He is tall, with a quiet, controlled manner, but the first mention of his security-clearance case unleashes hidden fury and resentment. ''I'm angry over the time and effort this has cost me, my family and my friends,'' he says. ''The whole thing is unwarranted.''

According to a Government report, his troubles began in February 1972 when he was president of Material Service Corporation. The sand and gravel business, the nucleus of the family fortune, was now a division of General Dynamics. He gave $8,000 of his personal funds to a $50,000 industry political slush fund, intended for a group of legislators in the Illinois General Assembly to smooth the passage of a bill to raise highway weight limits for ready-mix concrete trucks. The measure was vetoed by Gov. Richard Ogilvie, and the contributors to the slush fund received their money back. But eventually, to mollify the legislators involved, Crown and another company split a second, $30,000 payment.

Meanwhile, seven officers and employees of Material Service were padding their expense accounts -''at the direction of Crown,'' according to the Government report - and reimbursing their boss. The project was cut short when Material Service was subpoenaed by a Federal grand jury investigating corruption in the industry.

The family turned to Albert E. Jenner Jr., a lawyer and longtime friend who is on the board of General Dynamics. ''Whenever the kids got into trouble,'' Jenner says, ''they never bothered the old man. They talked to me, and I got them out of trouble.'' In return for his cooperation with the grand jury, Lester Crown was granted immunity from prosecution.

In May 1974, Crown was elected to the board of directors of General Dynamics, and two months later the Defense Department approved his application for a top-secret clearance. The results of the grand jury proceedings did not become public until December. Neither the members of the board nor the Pentagon had been told of the bribery case.

HE CROWN FAMILY WAS NO stranger to the political wars. When Henry Crown and his brother founded Material Service in 1919, he learned to play ball with the city's Democratic machine, which ran on generous political contributions. Says James O'Brien, chairman of a Material Service subsidiary, ''Henry played by the rules, such as the rules were.'' In the process, he turned the company into a money machine that made him a millionaire within five years.

"Syria: An Unnatural Act

"Iraq: Blood Feuds And Genocide In The North

August 7, 2014: ISIL (al Qaeda in Iraq and the Levant) made a surprising move into northeastern Iraq in June, seizing control of Mosul. At first it was believed that ISIL would then move south against Baghdad. But ISIL instead turned to confront the Kurds, who had quickly taken control of Kirkuk and nearby oilfields.  In the last week ISIL has taken advantage of this temporary disorder of Kurdish border security to advance into Kurdish territory and seize several towns and a hydroelectric and flood-control dam. The ISIL move north is also meant to kill or expel religious minorities like the Yazidis and Christians. The Yazidis are a particular target because many Moslems, and some Christians, consider the Yazidi pagans and devil worshipers. The Yazidi are Kurds who practice a pre-Christian religion related to the pre-Islamic Zoroastrian religion common in Iran (and now only found in India). The Yazidis are considered pagans by ISIL and to Moslems pagans must either renounce their beliefs or die."

"Enemies’ using internet to attack Islam, warns Jakim

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 8 — Federal Islamic authorities today joined the call for online attacks against Islam to be punished severely, following recent complaints that authorities were not vigorously pursuing non-Muslims for such activities.

Telling Muslims they were duty-bound to defend Islam against threats and insults proliferating on the Internet, the Malaysian Islamic Development Department (Jakim) said these actions were against religion and the law, and urged for a crackdown against such cyber-attacks.

In its weekly Friday sermon, Jakim alleged of numerous cases where social media and communications technology have been used to demean Islam, belittle Malay sensitivities and insult the Malay Rulers.

“The actions of these groups pushes the limits of Muslims’ patience. With all sorts of insults before this, we no longer want any rude and uncivilised statements or actions by any party to pass without stiff action and maximum punishment under existing laws,” read the sermon, posted on Jakim’s website."

I'm calling fishy on these guys as well.

One of the earlier ISIS/Levant photos published a few months ago had what looked like a 6'5 bodybuilder amongst the fighters, he looked more like Brock Lesnar than the average Mahmoud Whatshisname middle easterner who is covered in body hair, and, of course, Isis Lesnar was wearing a hood to hide his face. Just where does he find the time to lift weights and take his protein drinks/'roid shots?

Their mannerisms and style of speech in this video compared to others raises a giant red flag IMO as well.

I've not been able to handle the photos of dead children much (whether Israel or Isis slaughtered them), but some of these photos definitely seemed staged. There was one awful looking one of a girl in a dress and white stockings, sans head, the solder was holding the body up like a doll. I didn't know that girls in Iraq or Syria dressed like that.

Don't think I will be watching any videos either, so I'm not denying it is happening.

ask yourselves this:  Is ISIS good for the Jews {Zionists}?

http://www.globalresearch.ca/the-israeli-dream-the-criminal-roadmap-towa...

http://www.globalresearch.ca/us-leaders-aid-and-abet-israeli-war-crimes-...

You bet it is.

Energy and the petrodollar are major factors, but they are not the only factors.  And even there, Israel's expansionism is at play.

People like Chomsky view the Israelis as an extension of the American (or Anglo-American) Empire.  This neglects, perhaps deliberately, the fact that American Jews have wildly disproportionate wealth, media power, political power, and organization.  While perhaps less than 1/3 are staunch "Zionists" and presumptively primarily loyal to Israel, a larger number are certainly primarily loyal to other Jews (a feature both of being a minority and of Judaism per se).

Neoconservatives were overwhelmingly Jews, which isn't to say that most Jews are/were neocons.  People have trouble with this, and people fear being labeled as "anti-Semites" for discussing relevant facts.  But it is a dark path when certain truths must be buried - particularly as Israel, Zionism and {Zionist} Jewish power have such massive, undue influence on American foreign and diplomatic policy.

Look at Ukraine as microcosm - the Jewish undersecretary married to an arch-Zionist arch-neocon who quite obviously wants the US to wage war for Israel's benefit, caught plotting with the Jewish American ambassador, and discussing installing one of several Jewish or largely Jewish puppets (Ukraine is under 1% Jewish), and discuss coordinating with the Jewish and Zionist US rep to the UN.

Look at Congressional staffers, look at the State Department - look long and hard at Treasury, which may as well be run out of a synagogue.  Look at Obama's advisors past and present, look at the IRS, FDIC, CBO, OMB, National Economic Council, CFTC, Council of Economic Advisors, Commerce, and on and on and on.

How in the fuck could Richard Perle, investigated for spying for Israel, probably more than once, and a man who had worked for Netanyahu, end up in a position of great power, along with a cabal of Zionist Jews, in the Bush administration - unless Jewish/Israeli spying was in essence protected by the Deep State?

http://www.voltairenet.org/article178638.html

http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2004/01/lie-factory

How do we let people openly talk about stealing US nuclear material and delivering it to Israel - with the very probable involvement of Israel's current PM, unless Jewish/Zionist power within the Deep State is dominant?

http://www.theamericanconservative.com/articles/the-hollywood-spy/

http://mondoweiss.net/2012/07/netanyahu-implicated-in-nuclear-smuggling-...

How is that foreign leader then taken seriously, when he has falsely claimed for 20 years that Iran is mere "months away" from a nuclear weapon, even as he builds dozens of more of his own nukes and tens of thousands of new apartments in illegal Jewish-only "settlements?

http://www.juancole.com/2012/09/netanyahu-in-1992-iran-close-to-having-n...

A man who paints Iran's leaders as genocidal religious nuts while catering to genocideal religious nuts.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFr4C2BPLeM

Why do we not only look away at Israeli war crimes but provide diplomatic cover - not 'arguable' war crimes, but the deliberate collective punishment of a captive civilian population far, far outside the bounds of either defense or the laws of war?

http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2014/07/human-rights-watch-findings-gaza-...

The answer is obvious - whether or not there are legions of people demanding you not state it.

Mossad and CIA are very likely providing logistics and arms to these mercenaries.  Everyone simply supposes that they are ultra-hardcore Islamists.  Most are likely there for the paycheck and what seems to be a winning team.

Here's a concern, all else aside - you have the prospect of US special forces engaging what amounts to a CIA/Mossad proxy terror/guerilla group.   It's a very real possibility.

What is beyond possibility, or arguing, is the fact that the US government is, for all practical intents and purposes, hijacked by neocons, most of whom are right wing Zionist Jews, even as most Jews {who as a group obviously have affinity toward Israel and other Jews and have very disproportionate power in the US, UK, Canada, France, and elsewhere, transnationally) are certainly not neocons or expansionist Zionists.

Discuss.

p.s. I promise you that the links are worth checking out and form a coherent tale of the ZOG, one that is simply beyond reasonable dispute.

"The Third World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences caused by the "agentur" of the "Illuminati" between the political Zionists and the leaders of Islamic World. The war must be conducted in such a way that Islam (the Moslem Arabic World) and political Zionism (the State of Israel) mutually destroy each other. Meanwhile the other nations, once more divided on this issue will be constrained to fight to the point of complete physical, moral, spiritual and economical exhaustion…We shall unleash the Nihilists and the atheists, and we shall provoke a formidable social cataclysm which in all its horror will show clearly to the nations the effect of absolute atheism, origin of savagery and of the most bloody turmoil. Then everywhere, the citizens, obliged to defend themselves against the world minority of revolutionaries, will exterminate those destroyers of civilization, and the multitude, disillusioned with Christianity, whose deistic spirits will from that moment be without compass or direction, anxious for an ideal, but without knowing where to render its adoration, will receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought finally out in the public view. This manifestation will result from the general reactionary movement which will follow the destruction of Christianity and atheism, both conquered and exterminated at the same time." 4

Since the terrorist attacks of Sept 11, 2001, world events, and in particular in the Middle East, show a growing unrest and instability between Modern Zionism and the Arabic World. This is completely in line with the call for a Third World War to be fought between the two, and their allies on both sides. This Third World War is still to come, and recent events show us that it is not far off.

I traveled the world working for Kobe Steel (mid-20'es). We were worshiped as Americans. Every time I entered a foreign country, followed their laws to a tooth & nail. The police were a riot, always passing out the business cards and informing me to call if I get into an uncompromising situation.

Then 9/11 happened, everyone’s existence changed. I wish life was like the old days. We all got along. Shit, I never called down to the hotel about a red arrow on my ceiling and the blasting of 5:30 prayer mass. Not my country, just a visitor.

Yeah, Christian priests are regularly spit on by Jews in Jerusalem.

Even though the Kingdom of Jerusalem, unlike David's kingdom, was real.

If the Old Testament is in any way true, it doesn't seem like a Jewish state is a great place or thing for non-Jews.  In fact, the Torah is every bit as violent as the Koran, with the added benefit of a deep racialism.

You seem to like to define "Islam" only by the extremes, but define "Judaism" by the superficial universalism of, say, the modern, liberal, probably atheist or agnostic [like most smart folks] Jewish person.

In a nutshell, it seems like you hate Muslims and want the rest of us to do the same, while pretending that Jews, when in power, would discriminate against us less.

Seems like biased nonsense to me.

Let's talk about nonsense. Jews do rule in Israel and nowhere else. Compare and contrast to their neighbors. A religion, including atheism is not what you say, it is what you do.

There is no more incitement to hate Muslims than Buddhists, Wiccans, or Finnish people. Why does no one incite hatred towards these? It is because they are not in the news daily cutting off heads and calling for world domination through conquest. You don't have to worry about them, you don't need to hate them, you need not fear them as a group.

I don't see Jews as a religion, the State of Israel or an ethnic group threatening any kind of death and conquest. They have had the power to do that to their Arab, Muslim, Middle Eastern Neighbors since at least 1973 and they do not.

There is no "pretend" here except on your part.

You can stick your talmud up your dhimmwit ass. Like that talmud example justifies murdering islamic snackbarian rat f**ks?

Muhammad directed Muslims to wage war on other religions and bring them under submission to Islam. Within the first few decades following his death, his Arabian companions invaded and conquered Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist and Zoroastrian lands. A mere 25 years after Muhammad's death, Muslim armies had captured land and people within the borders of over 28 modern countries outside of Saudi Arabia. Muslims continued their Jihad against other religions for 1400 years, checked only by the ability of non-Muslims to defend themselves. To this day, not a week goes by that Islamic fundamentalists do not attempt to kill Christians, Jews, Hindus and Buddhists explicitly in the name of Allah. None of these other religions are at war with each other are they?

You are a pathetic progressive low information dhimmwit marching to Valerie Jarrett orders.

It is a growing feature of modern life that people are losing their ability to distinguish good and evil. Therefore, they cannot recognize a threat and that enables the threat.

One can argue that the Arab Muslims were simply an army of conquest like any other army in history and I will meet them halfway. The Mongols, Huns and even Romans were no picnic to their enemies, but there was no particular undying religious dedication to the death and subjugation of all who were different. Once the Mongols and Romans set up their empires the killing stopped except in the case of uprisings. Trade flourished and all relgions coexisted. You did not have to even convert to their religion. You simply became part of the empire.

I now wish the Mongols had been a tad more successful in the Middle East. Islam would be on the ash heap with Zorosastrianism and the Aztec gods.

The Muzzies aren't really that much worse than the Pope and his army of queer pedophile priets who trapse around the world buggering little boys.  Hell, if one puts it in historical context, the Catholic Church would probably give the Muzzies a run for the money in the total body count and "creative torture" departments (e.g. Spanish Inquisition).

BTW.. Just to be clear, I hate the Muzzies the most but I also reserve a fair amount of hatred towards most other organized religions as well.

I expect nothing more than lip service and minimal military strikes directed at (what i reason are) hired lanley trained forces, scowering & looting armaments from and seizing key targets in iraq. My bet is russia backed syria is yet the primary focus of these vermin once heavier armed.

Mercenary mayhem and murder suppresses resistance through terror while securing iraqi infrastructure like water and assets like oil gets controlled further suppressing domestic resistance while generating income for the manipulators. I think it likely the same satellites that observed ISIS columns moving into iraq unscathed from above, will watch them return to syria with armor, and, once again unscathed from above.

Check out the VICE video. You have them slinging black flags in the hands of 9 year olds and talking about being suicide bombers in Europe. Yes, the US fucked up removing Saddam. Yes, the US fucked up destabilizing Syria, I agree. Yes, THE US FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS BEEN FUCKING UP FROM DAY ONE IN THE MIDDLE EAST but now it is at that point where it is so fucked up TO WALK AWAY NOW IS TO LEAVE THE LARGEST GOLD MINE IN THE WORLD TO A ZOMBIE FUCKING PLAGUE OF BARBARIANS WHO WILL USE THAT WEALTH TO MARCH ON ROME, PARIS, AND MADRID IN YOUR CHILDREN'S LIFE TIME. Was the war in Iraq about oil, yes. Did we get it, not yet but we're close...oh so fucking close we are to the oil...the last sweet, easy to get crude. billions of barrels of it. enough to supply the rest of the world for another 20 years while we get our shit together and figure out what to do with all of the Helium 3 on the moon (which is shining so bright here tonight in the Middle East you need sunglasses). BUT IF THESE ISIL FUCKERS THAT OBAMA GAVE BIRTH TO IN SYRIA TAKE BAGHDAD AND ERBIL THE WORLD HAS WE KNOW IT HAS OFFICIALLY BEEN TAKEN OVER BY ZOMBIES BIRTHED BY THE ANTI CHRIST. Fuck Brad Pitt and his cunt wife. This is the real World War Z.

And them pound them more when they do beg for mercy.

24/7 Fuel / Air Bombs.....Daisy Cutters......Drone strikes.......Cruise Missiles.

Not....one....minute....of rest or peace until they build their cities underground.  And then bomb those.  And then salt the earth.

And a tactical nuke or two for good measure......just to prove to the leaders of Paklstan and Afghanistan or Buttfuckitstan that they are going to get a piece of that too if they don't keep their people in line.

Really ?  I have got news for you : oil has no intrinsic value. The value of oil is derived from the role it plays in a system.  A system which Europe dominates economically even more than US.  Our output is greater.  These Iraqis virtually produce nothing. Cars ? No, Planes ? Nope, Weapons ? no.  They are scientifically and technologically backward.  So think hard : will they march on Rome, Paris and Madrid ?  You are an American scaremonger.  Just scared as shit to loose the petrodollar. This is Iraqi oil, not American oil.  We Europeans can buy it from them ( not in dollars ).  Sounds like real free trade, no?  I would not mind as much paying for it in dollars if it wasn't for the death and destruction you visit on these people.  This goes against our values.  Get that ?  Get the hell out of Iraq.

Let me get this right ... the war in Iraq was never won that all the politicians told us we had.

A war fought under the name of democracy when only the people of that nation can earn democracy it cannot be given.

At the end of the first gulf war, ignore all the promises the job needed to be finished then and that would have united an Iraqi people under one nation. Iraq was then left divided to fester so I wonder now how many of the Iraqi people actually support this group?

Just curious because IF ENOUGH OF THEM WANTED IT THEN SURELY IT WULD BE IN THEIR INTERESTS TO FIGHT. But not if you only get a western puppet in charge that serves foreign interests alone.

In the end the way this is shaping up I expect Iraq to be a 2nd Iran that only formed because of support given by the west to a puppet dictator. All a mess of our elites making I dod believe that will NOT GO AWAY.

no one wants an independent Kurdish nation, there is very little oil in the western part of Iraq, ISIS still has intelligence value in the not so covert war to topple Assad, US foreign policy has been to end government run by Islamic law (Shia law in Syria, Turkey, Iran,) and replace these governments with more business friendly moderates. that they have succeeded in forcing the remaining fundamentalists into a small area where they can be bombed and strafed out of existence, over the struggle to establish their own state in a small bit of mostly worthless desert should be considered a neocon foreign policy triumph. if obama fails to close the deal the neocons will hammer his party in the election. there is almost no sympathy for ISIS at any level of media discourse. its all rolling washingtons direction. this is the same strategy the GOP used on moderate democrats in 2000, attack moderates in order to isolate the core (extreme) liberals (the neocons are everywhere making policy) it didnt really work then, and probably wont work now, but thats the policy, obama and his party dont own washington they just work there.

Past to Present: the ME make-up in a nutshell...

Quote:     many of the inter-arab frontiers are the results of historical accident or were drawn by outside (primarily the british and to a somewhat lesser degree the french & dutch late 19th century-- later, followed by the american's, early in the spring of the 20th century) powers without reference to the desires or needs of the people.

the urge to unity, where it involves actual political or economic union and not just expressions of solidarity (yes, solidarity), is likely to make itself felt in particular areas less extensive than the whole broad expance of territoty from morocco to muskat(oman).

the arab world is made up of four natural regions: the Fertile Crescent (lebanon, syria, jordan, iraq) the Arabian Peninsula, the Nile Valley, and the Northern coast of Africa.  each has a different background and history; each has problems of its own that the others do not share. north africa has a long association with the west which will impel it to seek its own unity and its own future not bound to cairo and the arab east.  it is logical to expect yemen and the sheikhdoms of the persian gulf to come to close relationship with saudi arabia, bur not to expect the latter to merge its fortunes with those of egypt or iraq.  egypt and the sudan are bound to be associated together in the natural unity of the nile valley, despite sudanese distrust of cairo, but they are well separated by deserts and the State of Israel from other centers of the arab world. this is the main reason why the union of egypt (1968-71) and syria in the U.A.R. has an air of artificiality about it and has deep gulfs to bridge (it was dissolved in 1971 when nasser was poison/assainated in sept/1970).

the greatest complexities are those which involve the countries of the Fertile Crescent, their relations among themselves and the other Arab states.   the ideas of "greater Syria" and "Fertile Crescent unity" have long been held by writers, political leaders and many others in those lands.  Syria in Ottoman times was considered as including what later became Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, and Transjordan. The nationalistic movements of Syria and Mesopotamia (later Iraq) had close ties.   those who led the arab revolt during the first world war had no program for the division of the 'Fertile Crescent' into separate states. the mere existence of the separate mandates, however, had its effect on the direction of arab nationalism, and the tendencies toward unity were not strong enough to overcome the obstacles to it even after western control was withdrawn.  personal and dynastic factors complicated the picture.  the idea of greater syria, when associated with the ambitions of Abdullah of Transjordan, had little appeal for others.  and the prospect of syrian-iraqi union, besides meeting objections from egypt and saudi arabia, ran the opposition of all who had vested interests in the continuation of a syrian republic.  meanwhile lebanon, under largely christian leadership and having special bonds with the west, was mainly concerned with maintaining its own unique position.

in recent years (late 1950s, early 60s), when the combined impact of the global struggle and rivalries for arab leadership have split the states inthe 'Fertile Crescent' into rival camps, talk of their unity may seem out of place.  from whichever side it comes, it tends to be interpreted as a move for partisan gain rather than for arab unity for its own sake."  pgs 306-7   "In Defense of the ME" c1958  John C. Campbell

Note:    nothing has changed since the great demarcation and the Israel State of affairs, which ironically (perhaps), actually keeps the whole fucking ME from going up in smoke?!?
