From the source, google translated:
To the east of Ukraine on the morning of August 12 departed 280 wagons with Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations humanitarian aid.
The cargo was sent from Moscow Narofominsk. Total cargo weight - 2000 tons. This is the most necessary things for the civilian population affected by the carrying out of the military operation in the south-east of Ukraine, namely 400 tons of cereals, 100 tons of sugar, 62 tons of baby food, 54 tons of medical equipment and medicines, as well as 12 thousand sleeping bags and 69 power generators.
The operation of sending basic necessities has been agreed with the International Committee of the Red Cross. This was reported by the ITAR-TASS news agency .
As noted earlier, the Kremlin announced today that despite Western warnings not to interfere, Russia was set to dispatch a convoy of humanitarian assistance for east Ukraine, under the guise of a Red Cross mission, which would mark the first time Russians have officially entered into east Ukraine (aside from Crimea of course), even if all sides have agreed there would be no Russian military escort.
"It was noted that the Russian side, in collaboration with representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross, is sending an aid convoy to Ukraine," the Kremlin statement said, without revealing when the convoy was going.
Shortly thereafter a video was leaked of what allegedly this convoy looks like: some ~300 military vehicles, all repainted "Humanitarian White."
Furthermore, as the license plates visible in the clip show (at least on the vehicles that exhibit plates), these are military plates with a black background and where the "76" and "50" designators indicates that the vehicles were licensed in Yaroslavl and Moscow regions. The breakdown of the various regional codes can be found here.
As we stated before, the vehicles are expected to be unarmed, which means that should something "bad" happen to them while on Ukraine territory, well, the word provocation certainly comes to mind.
The complete clip is shown below.

Banking mafia, bad
neocons, bad
All satellites, spy drones, and surveilance aircraft will be watching these white trucks, while the camoflaged tanks roll in many miles to the north and south.
If that convoy runs into the slightest difficulty Putin will be there to rescue it in an instant.
Trojan Horse?
Surprise, we're here!
I don't get it . . . what are they supposed to do, buy 300 new "aid vehicles" to serve the purpose? The fact that they used trucks they had on hand and painted them white to make sure they didn't look provocative doesn't mean shit. If they were rolling in with APC's painted white that would be a different thing. This kind of "reporting" belongs on CNN or Faux Neus and is below the level of the Tyler's normal stuff.
Because, apparently, the FSU did the same when they invaded Central Europe block nations in the 60's. Painted the convoy white.
This is going to suck. If I lived in Eastern Ukraine I would be moving to either Western Ukraine or to Russia.
Staying there is stupid.
LOL - at least half of them old trucks will be broken down before they reach the border. The next load of images will be of them being towed through.
aThat is when they'll bring in the tanks...as tow vehicles. lmao at least it isn't a fleet of Chevy Suburbans or they'd they won't be sitting at a Government Motors Dealership for a recall.

Their humanitarian trucks are the same color as our humanitarian bombs
Their humanitarian trucks are the same color as our humanitarian bombs
At least they are sending in trucks . . .
Stop the train. I want to get off now. This is so gonna suck.
By all accounts, within the next three days, the Ukrainian mass offensive against Donetsk will kick off. According to sources, all available Ukie artillery and rocket forces are in position and ammunition is in place. All combat ready units in their army are in their jumping off positions. In most cases when a military is in this state of readiness, it is just days till it must jump off into battle. Don't be fooled, the Ukie army has been badly beaten up the last three days in battles outside the city where attempts to encircle the city are going on, but that does not affect this Donetsk offensive, the entire combate ready army is in position.
That begs a question, will the arrival in Ukraine of this Red Cross Russian Convoy in any way cause caution in the offensive to take Donetsk? Big question! Ukraine can not afford to have an incident against an aid convoy agreed to by Kiev, Moscow and the Red Cross.
The coming battle is said to be on a time schedule. Take Donetsk by Aug. 24th. Why? Well, things are going badly in the civilian sector, economic collapse and political infighting are spreading. Winter winds are just a matter of weeks away. Ukie army is using all avalable force for this attack, should it fail, it would take over a month or more to regroup for another try, this puts the next window of opportunity into Oct, thus near winter.
The bloodshed coming will be huge, the fighting will be savage. The rebels are so badly out gunned and outnumbered that only their morale and abilities can save them in the coming two weeks. Once Ukie troops enter the northern suburbs of Donetsk, which seems to be the path of attack, the fighting will be epic. Put it this way, no sane man would want to be caught up in this battle. I will not predict an outcome, Kiev has just too many tanks and artillery, and those win battles, plain and simple. Unless Russia floods heavy weapons to the rebels starting today, then this battle could spell the end for the entire city of a million people.
How do you know so much about this? I confess my envy (and ignorance)...
An insiders perspective (as oppossed to the MSM perspective):

"I live here", says the boy.
"I live in Donetsk".
A MUST read.

Per your usual, great write up.
My take is that Russia's going to be coming through the "front door" with what they said they are going to deliver medical supplies and probably food.
Should Porshenko and his handlers level that goodwill peace train, I think it's safe to say we will have ourselves a war and Putin has already engraved the invitations to the NATO contigent with the "think about it" that finish the last words on the card. He's been more than generous in giving the ones on the fence time to give NATO's action the "thumbs down" but when their is such an inordinate amount of needless suffering and death as there already has been the gloves finally come off. And here we are! Western Europe will sign there own headstones if they go along with Washington's directives.
I think Putin made a colossal mistake by not pummeling Kiev much further West in the Spring leaving the Donetsk, Luhansk, Mariupol, Kherson and Odessa as a buffer to Crimea. But easier said than done as we know what the snipers did in the winter was a prelude to using "human shields" with or without pro-Russian separatists as a growing tactic. We'll also never know what John Brennan over at Langley brought with him when he made the surpirse visit in April -perhaps along with those instructions some "goodies" we don't yet know about but that Putin certainly is well aware of.
How many good souls along with the bad ones do you decide that you have to kill in order to make it clear to the NATO camp they aren't comin any further?!!! That's been the dilemma and crisis for Putin -but not any longer. I believe it was going to be bad either way and it's come to a head now.
Needless to say I wouldn't want to be either an Eastern European on the border with Russia or Western European if those white trucks take the hit.
This is where mutiny enters the equation for the guys in uniform in the U.S. military after destroying their own reputations since 9/11. They are either on-board and ready to start what they will most certainly never finish, or they give the serious "middle finger" to Obama and Congress as they did last year over Syria and call it a day just as the officers and enlisted ranks in the Soviet military did in the early 90's.
"I think Putin made a colossal mistake by not pummeling Kiev much further West in the Spring leaving the Donetsk, Luhansk, Mariupol, Kherson and Odessa as a buffer to Crimea. "
??? WTF ???
No pummeling was required , or will be required you muppet. The people of the Crimea voted for Russia over Ukraine. There was no invasion ,
...
...not sure where you're getting this info from, pls post a link if you have one.
ukrainian sources actually in donetsk on the other hand are stating that the kiev junta have not succeeded in surrounding the city, that the situation is much like at the time of the mh17 downing, ie. kiev junta continuing to attack civilian centres and infrastructure but suffering heavy casualties with many defections to rebel sides.
https://www.facebook.com/TruthfromUkraine/posts/1528840340672646
"It happened at 9th August and caused panic in social networks that Donetsk was surrounded. Really forces of Kiev junta found death here.
Guards in towns Krasniy Luch and Miusinsk were not big, Kiev junta got this information by US instructors. USA using drones here, it is help of US regime for fascists junta. But these guards fight until arriving of armored units of Novorossia fighters, who defeated Kiev junta forces."
The information on the build up for the offensive comes from Russia Blogs maintained by the Self Defense Forces and Russian military experts. I also take into account press releases from Kiev. I have about a dozen blogs and social media sites I follow, all in Ukraine or Russia. I never post links in my comments as I am not trying to do anything but distill what I learn. It is my opinion what I post, but I base it on the best facts I can get. All my sources are on the internet, and possible to access with a little hard work and time.
"It is my opinion what I post..."
Yes, without links back to the source, you post your interpretation of the facts (second hand information), translated from the original Ukrainian or Russian to English - I assume you speak neither? I'd much rather put in "a little hard work and time" drawing my own conclusions, as I'm not in the habit of letting someone else do the 'thinking' for me, as opposed to wasting time trying to find sources that corroborates your 'opinion'. That's what I'm getting at... but hey, whatever floats your boat.
Tanks and artillery wins battles in tank country.Ukr army stood for nearly a month before one lost shithole(Slaviansk), and then took it by major effort of western mercs. And even then Strelkov slipped out of encirclement.
Remember the battles for Grozny, russians massed 1945-style artillery divisions, and even then had to enter with their infantry and root the enemy block by block.
Of course, it does not diminish in any way the heroism of soldiers actually having to resist under massed artillery fire, but the issue is not clear-cut at all in this case.
"Kiev has just too many tanks and artillery, and those win battles, plain and simple"
Usually but not always in cities.
Very True! What i meant by that quote was that these heavy weapons allow the Ukie army to move at will. Of course things change in battles for urban centers. But the biggest problem the Slef defense Forces face is a mobile Kiev Army that is too big to stop in open country. Recently the rebels got heavy GRAD rocket launchers and have been able to target Ukie armored columns with devestating results. All the rebels need is their own moblie forces to parry thrusts by Kievs massed tank formations.
"A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear humanitarian aid, shall not be abridged."
I continue to marvel at how well informed you guys are about the military situation on the ground in east Ukraine, and confess I am waaay behind when it comes to knowing the truth there.
Links, please, anyone? My thanks in advance...

...meanwhile, a Chechen Republic NGO has apparently sent SE Ukraine a second consignment of humanitarian aid:
https://www.facebook.com/RKadyrov95/photos/a.699805706721731.1073741831....
Well where else would they get truck to paint white?
Painting the vehicles "Hungarian White" would bring on other Russian memories 58 years ago.
...
looks like WaPo is ready to rumble and pushing for war, not that it's a surprise that is there job after all, prepping the masses for what's to come.
here it is...
"Whether that would be enough to deter Russian ruler Vladimir Putin wasn’t clear on Monday. According to NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, tens of thousands of Russian troops remained poised on Ukraine’s border; he said “there is a high probability” of invasion. Though a vacationing President Obama is already overseeing U.S. air strikes in Iraq, the United States and its allies must be prepared to act quickly if Russian military forces cross the frontier."
now the entire MSM is labeling this aid convoy as a "humanitarian invasion" by Moscow and is setting the narrative so that when the Ukrainian government blocks the convoy and turns it back, by force "if necessary", Kiev will simply have been staving off yet another attempt at invasion by Russia. never mind the fact that nothing has actually happened yet and the contents and disposition of the convoy has not been determined it was judged as hostile before it even left.
of course the real reason for that is Kiev doesn't want aid of any kind getting through, humanitarian or otherwise they need the city to be starved, destitute and broken before they launch their offensive. that was the point and purpose of the blockade in the first place and halving food, medicine and generators reach the city would undo all the hard work they have put into starving, shelling and terrorizing the population there.
my guess is this convoy doesn't make it, just like the last one didn't and by this time tomorrow we will be counting down the minutes until Moscow sends the next round of lethal and decidedly non humanitarian aid to the hold outs in eastern Ukraine...
and if WaPo gets there way it will make the beginning of a much larger, much deadlier war.
Next up, UN will drop leaflets on Ukraine 'vote democrat in 2016'. Obama told them to do it immediately.
White doesn't necessarily mean humanitarian. Blends better in the snow. Guess they will be staying for a while or all of this mess will drag through the winter when any countermeasures might be slightly more difficult...
Putin - "no paint those fuggers fluorescent white so you can see them from the Russian space station. Let those stupid americans attack a peace convoy...bwahahahahahahahaha!"
oh, that was quick, bit like patriot act..convoy already moving
winter tyres??
RACIST.

That paint will get washed by rain, because real paint was stolen and sold long ago.
Russian made power generators??? I would not risk to start one.
What was that big green contraption right at the end of the video? A folded up radar?
Yep
Yes, its the low level search radar from a S300 SAM system. One of the best there is.

The Kiev govt is fighting for control, while the Easterners are fighting for their lives.
Different levels of motivation. Different sense of urgency.
I proudly support Russia.
"Pride", the same thing that motivated Nazi Germans.
Sig Heil Putin!!!
So in the wests eyes, providing food and sleeping bags makes Putin a Nazi, not too difficult to work out who is at fault in the Ukraine.
I’m saving you from the misery you would suffer if I allowed you to live. Therefore, this is a humanitarian mission.
Hey, that’s almost convoluted enough to qualify me as a Wall Street economist.
The people in East Ukraine need help, Putin is doing the right thing.

Interesting that these trucks are white with stripes unlike the plain white in the original pictures.
those stripes are patriotic colors
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ribbon_of_Saint_George
the trucks look brand new, as in straight off the assembly line.
by the looks of it, this has been planned well in advance.
0bama just ordered 300 truck loads of humanitarian aid be sent to Kiev.
All brown pants.
seems like most of the posters have a white paint fetish. miserable selection of trivia. LMAO

The Politcally Correct little girl seems to be par for this administration. All talk.
Just like Barry's political promise to not take any vacations and work hard for the people. Barry's always on vacation and works for big Political orgs, not for the people.
People here were saying the other day that Putin would and should do nothing and just wait for winter. One poster the other day said Putin should/would act before winter. This seems to be that act and it was only possible because of the brain dead Canadian govt.
pooty-poot ftw
JOKE: Guy jumps into the back seat of a cab and tells the driver where to go.
As they are driving along the passenger taps the driver on the shoulder to tell him something and the driver becomes so startled that he nearly runs the vehicle off the road and into a steel pole.
The passneger apologises and asks him if this is his first day as a taxi driver and the driver answers "yes".
The passenger asks: "what was your previous job?"
Taxi driver replies: "I used to drive a funeral hearse."
My wife said that I've got Puti cooties.
Here's an update:
http://rt.com/news/179632-russia-humanitarian-aid-ukraine/
The number plate issue seems to have been resolved - just in case the Ukrainians used that as an excuse. Doesn't look too scary an invasion force to me.
If it weren't so many lives involved (and deaths), I couldn't stop laughing:
“The MH17 was shot down “by mistake” according to an official statement by the head of Ukraine’s Secret Service, Valentyn Nalyvaichenko (Ukraine News Service, August 7, 2014)
Ukraine’s law enforcement and intelligence agencies have established during the investigation into a terrorist attack on the Boeing… that on that day, July 17, and at that time military mercenaries and terrorists from the Russian Federation planned to carry out a terrorist attack against a passenger aircraft of Aeroflot en route from Moscow to Larnaca… as a pretext for the further invasion by Russia,”
“This cynical terrorist attack was planned for the day when the [Malaysia Airlines] plane happened to fly by, planned by war criminals as a pretext for the further military invasion by the Russian Federation, that is, there would be a casus belli,” he added.
(Infowars)
("Those" boys have this particular relationship with planes...)
“The MH17 was shot down “by mistake” according to an official statement by the head of Ukraine’s Secret Service, Valentyn Nalyvaichenko..."
Yeah, well, he's a liar. The evidence clearly says otherwise.

According to this story, a Russian-supplied and manned BUK system was to be used to down a Russian owned airliner and they didn't even know where the Aeroflot airliner was. A kid with an iPhone and the Flightradar app could've figured that out. If the Russians really are that stupid then the west has nothing at all to fear.
The ukis say they will not let the konvoi pass.
"The contact group has decided on Monday that the humanitarian aid convoys will cross over at the Kharkov Oblast border*. The Lugansk route has also been agreed upon," Leonid Kuchma, Ukraine's second President and the mediator in the operation told journalists.
*About a 10-12 hr trip from Moscow so we should know soon enough.
UK soldiers fighting in Ukraine frame 4.16?

Does somebody know wich unit?
Just free uniforms from NATO countries probably.
1 Artillery Brigade - the "Rams Head" TRF shoulder flash is available online (no previous experience needed).
This is asking for trouble
If this convoy gets attacked, even if "accidental", DJIA could spin violently out of control in response and possibly end up down eleven points
What if some Ukraine soldiers decide to hold some of the goods for themself.....
Trouble is already happening. Putin is escalating as slow as possible.
Fearmonger! Why do you hve to be so pessimistic. You should be more hopeful.
Some of the propaganda we got earlier said these were military trucks painted white. Well, they don't look like military trucks to me. In the first picture the tractors have a pair of 2 colored racing strips and the trailers have a canvas covered side with matching stripes. The trucks are obviously brand new. All the other pictures are of apparently identical trucks and trailers ... just without the racing stripes. Defects in the propaganda can be effective indicators of who the real deceivers are.
It's not a racing stripe. it's a patriotic ribbon
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ribbon_of_Saint_George
as for the trucks:
Stop the video at 00:11 and look at the tires. Those are military trucks. Heavy tread for off-road - single wide tire (as opposed to dual) on the rear for ease of tire change in the field. Further on in the video you start to see commercial trucks. Lighter tire tread, circular mud guards and crash barrier under the trailers - all civilian features. Don't be fooled by appearances though. Russian military doctrine since WWII has been standardization, dual use and overwhelming numbers. For example, civilian trucks can be pulled into military service without the need for seperate inventory of parts. Remove mud guards and crash barriers, switch tires, paint green and you're ready to go.
The AK-47 is another example of the doctrine. Basic reliable design, easy to manufacture in large numbers, can be rebuilt in the field.
In wartime you don't have the luxury of sophisticated equiment that needs constant repair. The simpler the platform, the more you can produce, thus the more you can deploy, and the easier it is to train people to operate and maintain.
Your argument is not convincing. I see commercial trucks with single tires rather than duals on our roads all the time. They're not military. Do you really think the Russians would pull a Trojan horse when they're already so far out in front of what the Ukranians are doing here?
Well unless you can point out the make and model you are just pissing in the wind. Military or not that has nothing to do with the CONTENTS of the trucks.
Why did WTC7 fall down?
Who said it did?
The WTC7 question is a litmus test to see if I'm dealing with a rational person. Clearly I'm not. The picture shows 3 trucks ... all brand new. All clearly not military trucks. I watched a little of the video and saw a guy with a real jerky camera driving down a long line of white trucks which looked like those in the picture ... but without the stripe and not brand new, but otherwise the same. If you were able to find a military truck in the picture fine ... but it was the exception. And as I stated, the propagada we first got was the this Russian action was likely a Trojan horse. It is evident to me that (1) it was not a Trojan horse, and (2) it would be really stupid to try a Trojan horse when you already have the high road on this issue. You two have tipped your hand.
Into the back of a truck?
"Military or not that has nothing to do with the CONTENTS of the trucks."
Thank you.
"Do you really think the Russians would pull a Trojan horse"
Where the fuck did I say that? I simply pointed out that there was a mixture of military and civilian vehicles present. That's all. And yes, many european commercial trucks have single rear tires, but not massive great ones with heavy off-road tread. Those are military.
Seriously, I can't beleive how THICK some people are around here.
"For Soviet Communists the month of August has a special significance. It was in August that the First World War began, which resulted in revolutions in Russia, Germany and Hungary. In August 1939 Georgi Zhukov succeeded in doing something that no one before him had managed to do: with a sudden blow he routed a group of Japanese forces in the Far East. It is possible that that blow had very far-reaching consequences: Japan decided against attacking the Soviet Union and chose to advance in other directions. Also in August 1939 a pact was signed in the Kremlin which opened the flood gates for the Second World War, as a result of which the USSR became a super-power. In August 1945 the Soviet Union carried out a treacherous attack on Japan and Manchuria. In the course of three weeks of intensive operations huge territories roughly equal in area and population to Eastern Europe were 'liberated'. In August 1961 the Soviet Union built the Berlin Wall, in violation of international agreements it had signed. In August 1968 the Soviet Army 'liberated' Czechoslovakia and, to its great surprise, did not meet with any opposition from the West. Suppose the Soviet Communists again choose August for starting a war...."
