A day of protests and vigils Sunday over the death of Michael Brown, a black teenager who was killed (allegedly shot 8 times) following an altercation with a Ferguson police officer, turned violent overnight with reports of riots and looting... and the violence is continuing today. I served in the USSA Army 40 years ago when they gave black criminals a chioce: go to jail or volunteer for the Army. I went to skools where blacks were brought in from rough neighborhoods. My after-skool high school job was to deliver green "oak" to the BBQ pits and restaurants in SouthCentral LA. Dude, Palmdale and to a lesser extent Lancaster is just one big shithole. Usually, when you drive and cross under a freeway, overa river river or whatever, the neighborhoods change and get better or worse. You drive down Sierra Highway and criss-cross the neighborhoods in Palmdale and it is just one big shithole. Depressing as hell. You take places like that or say Barstow that looked like 1930's Depression pix and you wonder if the decay is just starting and the edges and gonna work in.
The Mexicans have pushed the blacks out of Compton. Compton is now Latino. By pushed, I mean PUSHED as in threatened, intimidated, attacked and murdered. I live in South Central LA, and I can tell you that things are pretty pleasant here these days. People are polite. The blacks have lost the sense of being safe in their territory, which seems to have worked a marvelous change in attitude, compared to the '80s and '90s. Some appear to have decided that maybe whitey isn't so bad after all.
On the other hand, I am 6'4" and weigh 280lbs, and most of my time in the neighborhood i'm walking my two dogs, so there's the possibility that people are more polite to me, than they would be to someone else. Still, I get the feeling that most people sincerely want to get along.

Latinos, blacks fight whites at Hart High; 4 students arrested

NEWHALL - Fighting between white, black and Latino students Friday at Hart High School resulted in the arrests of four teens, a sheriff's sergeant said.
Students were arrested on suspicion of failure to disperse, said sheriff's Sgt. Cortland Myers, adding that the fight appeared racially motivated.
Witnesses said black and Latino classmates teamed up together and fought white students during lunch in retaliation for a fight between two teens at the school on Thursday when racial names were called.
William S. Hart Union High School District officials said it was not known what started the fighting or whether it was racially based.
Students on campus had other impressions.
"It was racial. All the Mexican and blacks gathered up and fought the whites," said Agustin Chavez, 15. "It was a rumble."
The freshman was off campus when fighting broke out about 12:35 p.m. and watched from the street as sheriff's deputies swarmed the school to intervene.

For some reason the old adage that goes, "Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you" comes to mind.
American society in general has worked very hard to keep the black man down. The process continues even unto today, and the working-class white man has joined the black man's ranks. If you wonder why over 70% of black babies are born out of wedlock, just look at what sort of wages are paid to a working man today. That 70% number will soon be shared by whites, asians and latinos.
Here's the simple truth.
1.) The man is the platform that carries the family. The woman is its anchor.
2.) When a man cannot earn enough to support his family and hold his head up, he bails.
3.) Children today are being supported by either a working mother or governmental transgenerational largesse, (itself a form of slavery). They are being "educated" by MTV and babysat by government propaganda schools, (not the other way around).
4.) This is all by design by corporatists. They own the banks, the legislators, the legal systems and the media worldwide. Humans are fodder for their labor needs.
5.) This will continue to work, (function), until the government doesn't, (largesse disappears). The only thing that will dismantle it is the destruction of either the power grid or the currency, or most likely, both simultaniously.
All that said, victimization is sometimes, (but not always) a choice. Allowing oneself to be victimized is the most henious of crimes, but it is hard to grasp when that is all one has known, (especially if the yoke of slavery hangs lightly). One can escape it but it requires willpower. A shining example of that is Dr. Ben Carson. But Dr. Carson is the exception, (due to his mother), not the rule.
In summation, one can only expect for this sort of thing to continue. Go long bullet-proof glass and the 3 holy PMs, (gold, silver and lead). Grow a garden.
