I tend to think this is already taking a life of its own beyond the Ferguson shooting (see above).

Cop won't be arrested. Police shootings happen. Hundreds of times a year in this country. Police get shot a couple hundred times a year.
There's no law that says it's acceptable to use deadly force for a single round, but not for more than one. That's just not a law. This is not an opinion.
Was it excessive force? good luck with that one actually. What are we going to do? Police can only have guns with three rounds?
Was it an adrenalin charged reaction? Of course. So is a school yard scuffle. Yes, police are held to a high standard, and I imagine if this officer had to do it all over again he would handle this situation very different. But that's not really the point.
The Red Coats were arrested and tried for capital murder is a good place to start.
1. The cops need to lose all their army gear and be re-trained into public peace officers. A lot of them are just mentally unfit for the job. Any cop who was out there aiming a rifle at the crowd also needs a psych examination.
2. A start would be giving the whole city, not just the blacks, justice by arresting that GD cop. The trial will determine his guilt. But clearly there is evidence to arrest him. I am not saying I would ever want to live in black Ghetto. But this time they are right. And right is right.
Overall, this country needs much more than that, but I am not writing a book.

If People had been allowed to protest in peace at the very beginning none of this would have happened. It would have burned itself out after a few hours or days and that would have been it. FYI the government absolutely has the right (and duty) to suspect press, assembly, etc. in a riot. That is what the local cops wanted to do; they knew that unless this was crushed immediately, this would spin into an endless morass as dickless politicians allowed uncivilized hordes to resume burning things down.

I guess you never heard about all of the corrupt cops in LAand their endless abuses, or NY and their famous crooked cops that were not only murdering but profiting substantially. Four dead in Ohio? There has been no extraordinary crime here regarding police action. We don't know about the actual killing yet. But Jesus. Look at history and seek some context here. Y'all in this thread need to read up some on human biological diversity and how it makes us all different. There are very real differences between races that are encoded in our DNA. The genetic distance to the next closest species (chimps) is about 1.5% of DNA, and between the various human races is as much as 0.5% of DNA - on a relative basis, compared to the chimp, that's actually a lot. If you marry someone of another race and the kids happen to look like you, they will still carry half the genes of both parents.

Maybe you should go back to GB and check out all those nicely diversified neighborhoods they have now...but be careful because some of them only honor sharia law and you may need to cover your head and protect your throat. And be sure to smile for the cameras.
