Ferguson Cop Points Gun At Protesters And Press, Screams "I Will F***ing Kill You", Has Been "Relocated"
In the aftermath of recent violent events and now that even the US Attorney General has arrived, one would assume that the Ferguson police had at least some "sensitivity" training about how to approach protesters, especially those "armed" with cameras. Not in this case. The footage below out of Ferguson shows a police officer pointing his gun directly at protesters and reporters while screaming "I’m going to f***ing kill you!"
The clip shows a Ferguson officer with his gun raised pointing it directly at a citizen journalist who was live streaming at the time: the incident was witnessed by Infowars reporter Joe Biggs who was also filming the incident.
"My hands are up bro, my hands are up," states the journalist before the cop responds, "I’m going to f***ing kill you, get back, get back!"
"You’re going to kill him?” asks another individual before the journalist asks, “did he just threaten to kill me?"
When the cop is asked for his name he responds, "go fuck yourself."
It didn't end there.
As Infowars reports, "another clip shows the officer pointing his gun as protesters demand he lower the weapon. A second cop intervenes to make the officer lower his weapon as more irate demonstrators demand to know the officer’s name."
The officer’s response to people asking for his name almost immediately prompted the launch of the Twitter hashtag #officergofuckyourself.
Biggs live tweeted the incident, and also took this photograph of the cop.
The incident is certain to provoke curiosity as to just how the local Police department is handling the de-escalation of local tensions.
As for police officer #officergofuckyourself, it appears he is no longer "on location."

What does trouble and embarrass me is that I don't see police pointing fire arms at protesters and even rioters in Europe. That effing enrages me...
Picture this. John Williams is right. Hyperinlation right around the corner. Jobs disappear. Food prices through the roof. Welfare cut to the bone or paid in worthless dollars. The streets fill with angry people. You know. The protected classes first. The rest later. And not a few hundred, but thousands. Pissed off, hungry, and looking for someone to blame. Campaign for Liberty has been closely following the situation in Ferguson, Missouri on our website here, here, here, and here. I was curious as to what a professional thought of the situation so I interviewed my good friend and active C4L member from Florida, Detective John J. Baeza, NYPD (ret.) While details are still coming to light, I think we can all agree that this situation has caused the nation to have a meaningful discussion on the militarization of state and local police departments that has been going on for decades.
Campaign for Liberty: What do you think of the police response to the events in Ferguson, MI?
BAEZA: Using a militarized police presence can only incite protesters. Although difficult at times, opening a line of communication with those protesting is a much better approach. This type of communication should have already began before this incident as community outreach is a key part of police work. Police commanders and supervisors must get in touch with their community so that if an event like this occurs they can both come to a civic solution.
After taking over control of managing the protests the Missouri State Highway Patrol has done a good job of reaching out to citizen groups. This outreach has eased tensions.
Campaign for Liberty: How can police officers balance the public safety with the rights of people to protest?
BAEZA: If protesters harm another person or damage another’s property they must be held accountable for those crimes. Police should use cameras to film the protest to ensure proper identification of those committing criminal acts just as citizens should use cameras to film the actions of the police. Everyone who commits a crime, whether it be a protester or the police, can then be held accountable. Sometimes discretion is the better part of valor when enforcing some laws and police may refrain from intervention or arrest until after the situation has returned to normal. This does not mean that the police should allow crimes against persons. The police should also know that they are not permitted to commit crimes against persons. If a protester used tear gas against the police they would certainly feel that they are being attacked. What then should they expect when they use tear gas cannisters against citizens. The use of tear gas will always cause the situation to escalate.
The police must realize that under Article 1, Section 9 of the Bill of Rights under the Missouri state constitution citizens “ have the right peaceably to assemble for their common good, and to apply to those invested with the powers of government for redress of grievances by petition or remonstrance.” Article 1, Section 8 reads. “That no law shall be passed impairing the freedom of speech, no matter by what means communicated: that every person shall be free to say, write or publish, or otherwise communicate whatever he will on any subject, being responsible for all abuses of that liberty…” The police represent and are paid by those citizens and they must uphold their oath to the Missouri constitution as this is a state matter and should be handled by the state.
Campaign for Liberty: What is your opinion of police officers wearing cameras?
BAEZA: All police officers should be mandated to wear body cameras. Studies have shown police abuse drops significantly when cameras are worn by police officers. Cameras can also be used to determine if an officer is unfairly accused of some wrongdoing. The Ferguson Police Department possessed body cameras but never put them into service.

There was a riot in Vancouver after the final Stanley cup game in 2011. Cop cars burned, windows smashed.
The cops just contained the situation and left people alone while filming.
They were still prosecuting people 2 years afterward. Much property destruction, no loss of life. Seemed kind of lame at the time, and a lot of time and money spent, but it is probably better than some alternatives.
Vancouver aftermath: 238 charges laid, 132 pled guilty, one person convicted after trial. Sentences range from conditional with community service to 17 months in jail. Number of people shot/harmed by police: zero. Recovery of property damages: some, but not all. Message to the publc: Go nuts if you want; we won't shoot you. You will be charged, and there's a good chance you will be convicted. (nearly 50% of those charged were convicted)
Much better at the time, and in the aftermath, IMHO, but I know there are some here who would have used tear gas and water cannons in Vancouver.

The thing is, this is how they talk to all sorts of people in all walks of life all the time, not just African-Americans or protesters or the journalists covering the protests.
Whenever they break or blow down the door at the wrong address and go rushing in behind stun grenades and machine guns and start gassing, Tasing, clubbing, and choking, and shackling whoever's inside, this is almost the exact wording of what they yell at the startled, often elderly homeowners.

I can't clearly make out the details of the assault rifle the cop was brandishing and threatening to kill people with here, but from what I could see it was not just your basic, plain-Jane AR-15 or M4 carbine.
It appeared to have a high-intensity "white light" mounted flashlight, and probably had either a red dot or a holographic optical sight of some kind. It might have had a laser pointer mounted on it as well, just not switched on at the moment.
Anyway, it looked like it had all or most of the "tactical" bells and whistles such rifles are typically tricked out with (at taxpayers' expense). All in all, probably at least a $2,000 package, maybe closer to $3,000.
But, you know, the taxpayers are paying for it, even if the average taxpayer can barely scrape up enough for a $175 SKS (after he pays his taxes).

Lot of bad stuff going down in Ferguson, lots of peoples rights (privileges) being trampled, we tend to think of our Police officers as trained automatons, without any personal emotions, they are also in a very stressed environment in Ferguson and unfortunately this guy got a bit too stressed and needed to be pulled from the situation.
Emotions are running high on both sides, I guess all I'm saying is the authorities have handled the Ferguson situation in the worst possible way from day one and I hope that they actually learn from this how not to handle these sorts of situations in the future, from day one their attitude has been we just need to push back harder, more guns, bigger guns, more teargas, more rubber bullets, more body armor, if people won't comply, apply curfews, take peoples rights of lawful assembly away, arrest anyone you can, bring in the National guard, keep people in the dark as to the facts about the shooting that started all this so that rumors become fact, don't bother responding to businesses being looted etc etc and the list of mistakes just keeps going on and on.
However, there are no doubt a lot of very good people behind many of those cop uniforms who just want to prevent people getting hurt and maintain the peace.
