To Everyone Saying Russia Is "Isolated", Here's A Map

Tyler Durden's picture

While NATO is happy to provide Russia with geographical advice, we thought the following map of "the world" will help explain President Obama's increased use of the term "isolated" when it comes to Russia...

Does Putin keep his Super Bowl ring in the Crimea? I do not think that Putin will give either of them back? Or that Obama will give back the Nobel peace prize.

That super bowl ring story is just so utterly retarded.  Kraft gave it as a gift in 2005, then when Putin became "evil", the story changed for dramatic effect.  That's all there is to it.  Giving a gift to Putin doesn't make as much media hay as claiming Putin "stole" it.  Considering it was up on stage in front of many others, it's a bit odd no one else seems to recall that story.  White house doesn't back it either.

So you're up on stage, yapping with a world leader, you hand him a piece of jewelry, don't tell him to just have a look at it, or ask for it back, tell a story for 8 years how you gave a gift that resides at the Kremlin Library.... and then decide to change all that and cry about how it was stolen.  Riiiiiiight.  The only thing more pathetic is that people actually believe that smear.

One thing Obama did is prove how utterly out of touch the Nobel committee is. What a joke. Kind of ironic tho, when you think about where the peace prize originally came from. Obama didn't invent dynamite but he damn sure carried puppet governments to a whole new level. Gotta love it.

At least not on behalf of neo-con-stazi fucktards and criminal central banksters. Shows over buy the Russian dip now.

The US is working hard for a replay of the 60's in South America. Trying to install puppet governments all around.

I'm afraid Marina Silva in Brazil is just that. She went from a Green, to Communist, to Eco-socialism, to pro-big-business within 5 years. And she's projected to win.

Dear ZH readers, aka "Putin-cheerleders",

I don't know how this Liberetarian, anti-Federal government, anti-Western mass media attitude morhped into love for Putin. Was it bacause he is a "strong leader, who stood up to Obama?" You guys are completely bedazzled by a thug, liar, and a killer of his own people.

This is what will happen in the next couple of years. Putin will be deposed, most likely killed. Probably by one of the internal factions. He is a poor copy of Stalin, the man he aspires to look like so much. He is less clever, and much less powerful than he pretends to be. The "Russian Spring" movement that he is financing, and desperately trying to control, will either result in:

1) the death of thousands of Russian soldiers in Ukraine (continuation of the ongoing invasion), or;

2) will turn on Putin himself (if he gives up and leaves Ukraine alone).

Meanwhile, the sanctions and dead bodies of Russian soldiers will piss off the still complacent segment of Russian population.

Putin is caught in the trap of his own making. All he can do is to posture and threaten the West.

Afterwards, if Russia survives as a country, it'll run to the West begging to be saved from China. In case you've failed to realise it, China-Russia partnership looks like this: http://tinyurl.com/lovbh2w

Its easy to see why Putin is liked . . . and "popular" not that I care for him that much, but if I had to choose between Obama and Putin . . .  its not even a choice really, hands down Putin wins because I know for a fact the country would actually "be going somewhere" instead of just rotting.

Libertarians at heart are aficionados , we like things moving and efficient. . . there is nothing wrong with getting behind a strong leader with a sense of direction . . .  so long as you are generally going in the right direction, corruption, fraud, theft, and oppression is a given, its built into the human condition, the trick is to make it all mean something, to give the people of a nation a REASON to make their sacrifices to give them something in return (a future).

What we have today is a government that takes and takes and takes, and generally . . . gives you nothing back, nothing of real tangible value is gained by the money we dump into govt.

While Russia generally leaves their people alone (for the most part) takes what it needs from the population and does something useful (like build pipe-lines) secure its foreign interest in a timely no bullshit fashion that works . . . like crossing a border with tanks and taking whats theirs (they invested into those gas lines).

Look at America in comparison, decades of war in the middle east, and we have almost nothing to show for it . . .

America has no future the "good days" are over and everyone knows it, its just in the cards, the cards are out on the table and its obvious.

Putin may be a dictator, but hes got cohones.

See there is being a dictator like Obama, who turns the country into a slob obese diabetic welfare state.

and

Then there is being a dictator like Putin, who actually gives a rats ass what his own country looks like.

Everyone knows all you ever end up with in the end is despots because Democracy doesn't work, so you might as well have an "OK" despot like Putin than a shit one like Obama  ^^ . . . the ideal of having a real representative government is a pipe dream, might as well be a fairy tail.. . .  the fairy tail of "democracy".

If you are going to have a dictatorship, it might as well be efficient. . .

I don't really expect to see any real form of representative government take hold in my life-time in the USA to be honest, its just not possible given the current power hold the financial sector of the economy has on government and the judicial system, so as a libertarian I would make the hard dice roll and settle for a lunatic for office with a sense of actual direction and vision, even though such a system goes against my own ideals of a pure libertarian state where people can pursue the economic activities they see fit opposed to what we have now where the most profitable enterprises are essentially illegal (hemp farming for example) which could solve almost all our domestic economic woes in one fell swoop.

Its just not possible to have the ideal with such a low voter turn out and such a large portion of the voters that do turn out being un-educated non-english speaking democrats who don't even have citizenship, the general population has already given up completely on representative government. . .  generally only 20 ~ 30% maybe 40% of the population even try to vote and most never even show up.The only people that show up to vote are the ones who "want something" from government, free this free that, because generally if you are actually busy working to get the things you "want", you dont have the convenience of casting a ballot that will be thrown in the trash bin anyway by the people who count them.

Until there is some kind of verifiable online voter ID system where you can vote online, and check how your vote was counted to make sure it was counted correctly, the vote is essentially meaningless.

Too many people it appears a struggle is occurring to unseat America as the worlds most dominate nation. For many proud Americans who see the world from the unenlightened and possibly undefendable position of the United States having a right to be in control it is both threatening and frustrating to see control slip away.

It is threatening to think the country might quickly fall to the position of a second rate power mired in debt with many of the options we have come to see as our right suddenly ripped away. It is frustrating that in many ways the country has become its own worse enemy guilty of political inaction and squandering its power through a series of bad choices and missteps. More on this shift in power and our best response in the article below.

ZH continues to be a reliable apologist for Putin. Putin continues to obfuscate the situation while proxy forces do his bidding. He boasts that he can move into Kiev in 2 weeks. Just because people speak Russian does not give probable cause to disrespect international borders. Let the Ukrainian people sort out their own mess. If they need a civil war to sort it out, so be it, but they don't need outside assistance to cause additional problems, from either side.

Remember the narrative spun off after the Winter Olympics, LOL? Putin pisses away over $50 billion on creating some kind of ego trip, and they are stuck paying the bill, because few in the West gives a rat what impression he eas trying to convey. Obama is not perfect by any stretch, but we arent rolling into neighboring country to effect a political change, all in the name of 'protecting' Russian speaking citizens.

Ukriaine certainly looks to be heading toward some kind of de facto parition, whether Ukraine likes it or not. Perhaps this is for the best, if the Russian and non-Russians can't learn to live tiogether, then let their portion go to Russia and the western portion stay aligned with the west. A lot of the rest of it is phony BS foisted by Putin when he did not like the result of the western coup in November to oust his puppet. They and ZH like to claim the last election was legitimate and fairly decided, but how can one really know from a guy that always gets over 90% plus in his domestic 'elections'. You risk your life voting against Putin in Russia plain and simple, and it isn't worth it to most. It is starting to remind me a lot of a large North Korea, with the brainwashing going on and the public spectacle of support.

The reason they hate Putin is the same reason they hated Hitler.

He is a nationalist.

That's  really bad world for the One World Government aka International Community crowd.

And the same reason both leaders were loved in their own people, putting them first not last.

On another note Newsweek says there is Bushmeat in America, the Africans here buy it in stores in NYC. None is checked by anyone.

Another example of putting the countries  you want to include in your one world government first.

Africa, Central America and so on.
