I have a Z30 on order from BB. I have had the same android phone for years and reached the point where I did a factory reset and never gave it a gmail account. It is basically a phone and a browser. I am very disappointed how privacy and control are handled (no way I would touch an iPhone).
My opinion is that if I pay cash for the device (I did) and I pay for my service (I do) then my device should not be crippled because I prefer not to be tracked/logged/marketed.
I may not like the Z30, but it looks to be a much more sercure device than the competition.

monoprice makes some good stuff. i've got a pair of ~$25 headphones here and they're pretty tight-sounding; not too much bass and decent clarity in the highs. their mics are some of the best for a low price.

I have the Mint 17 ISO but haven't installed it. I just keep my packages up to date & check for the notes in the changelogs to ensure something needs a change or ought to be left alone.

giogioorwell: It's up to you to be very careful what you put in the "cloud" whether it's Apples cloud, Googles cloud, Microsoft's cloud..every IT firm out there uses cloud based solutions now morons.
The only "cloud" I deal with it the occasional reverse burp in the bathroom. Sometimes loose chunks come out. No reason to pay for a ifagcloud. you see?
