Meanwhile, In The Skies Above ISIS' Capital...
Judging by these photos taken moments ago above the Islamic State (i.e. ISIS) capital of Raqqa, a triggerhappy remote-control operator in Whiteman Air Force Base is about to get jiggy with some jihadists located nearly 7000 miles away.
Needless to say, if readers spot one of these flying casually in the skies overhead, running fast may be a good strategy...

Israel from Nile to Euphrates isn't really all that great a stretch - especially after a full blown armageddon war. If Israel recaptures Sinai, they will be at the end waters of the Nile. And if they capture Syria into Islamic State territory, they will be at the Euphrates.
Remember, the valley of Armageddon is in Israel.
I can not understand why anyone would down arrow your comment, Duffy, but there has been a lot of trolls working this site in the last 6 months or longer. Probably much longer than 6 month, but these trolls are a lot more transparent!
I countered the down arrow, with my up vote! Good comment Duffy, good comment!

I would like to believe those hard points are empty due to expended ordnance. Otherwise, you ladies are wasting my time here.
Somehow, with our current CinC, I think it is more a recon for LZs for the dirty thirtys on resupply missions to those a-holes.
Oper: What colour turbins are our guys wearing?
So when do we start giving them manpads to shoot these suckers down and stimulate more GDP growth at home? Win-Win? Cui Bono?
ISIS is the true son of original Wahhabist ideological legacy to a corrupted US-Saud alliance, whose inception goes back to Zbi's dirty games in forming the Afghan Jihadist brigade in 1979 to checkmate USSR Afghan plays; leading to subsequent benediction by CIa/ISI collusion in giving birth to Talibanism---America's anti-Commie friend that morphed to become its Frankenstein-like enemy. ISIS thus has two mentors : Wahhabism and neo-con American shock and awe ism used to fight Iran and Soviets; now Assad's regime.
Now in the winter of America's Iraqi discontent of its own making, for which Syrac, as Palestine and Libya, pay with their own blood, we have schizophrenic Potus dancing alternatively to two tunes : managing Caliphate OR destroying it.
But how? Having spawned dire hatred amongst both Sunni and Shia Arabs, how do you now turn back the tide with 200 million Irano-Arabs now no more on your side, from Afghan/Iran to Mena Africa?
Maybe you go back and learn from this arch Neo-con strategist now feeling the urge to be nostalgic about US's past days of shock n awe and surge and blood splurge, as explained here :

How to conquer the US's liberal minded "aversion" to avoid conflict; More Ramboism from Kugan, the cold warrior mate of State's Nuland doing God's work in Ukraine; ---Oh the pain of seeing a cease fire to Putin's advantage....
Ron Paul must "love" this guy, like Putin loves Ukraine's chocolate man, or worse, the Azov brigade of its PM supported faction in Kiev's Maidan.
Neither the Arabs or the Perisans were ever America's allies, any more than just below the surface were the French, Germans, or most any European state post WWII.
Arabs and Iranians NEVER US allies?
Lol, I'll buy that for the Iranians; post Shah's fall; but before...your span of history does not go back to inception of US involvement in 1953 and regime change and oil bunga bunga games that followed which ruined Iran's middle class and made it totally an Oligarchy regime with Savak backbone and Bechtel/Fluor US oil bonanza to service Seven Sister's rule.
As for Saud, and ME monarchies, they have been 100% aligned since Suez Crisis and take over of ME role of Britain by Us during that 1956 crisis and Israel/Egypt war that followed. That became cast in stone for Ghawar spring exploited by same Oil cabal of US whose profit sharing with monarchies led to Petrodollar bedfellowship.
The Petrodollar money then spawned all Sunni rabid plays in the Saud supported muslim countries, enemies not only of Shia Iran, and Commie apostate Baasist Syria and later Saddam's Iraq, but instigators of Islamisation of all Africa and Pakistan.
What part of that US-Sunni Saud alliance is "revisionist" history might I ask?
If It was in US's national interests to halt Soviet invasion of Afghan, there were better ways of achieving it than creating a Taliban creed, and financing it with Opium trade like in Nam/Laos.
Ben Laden is pure Wahhabist knee jerk against US hubris that uses people and then junks them once US aims are attained and divide and ruin then becomes focus. Its worked time and again. And Syraq is eloquent testimony to that like Libya today. You name it they did it!
Pure cause n effect of that recurrent perversion.
Ah, I'm not referring to the Shah, or Mubarak, or King Hussein/Abdullah, I'm referring to their respective societies. Just as the most Faustian of US allies is the family owned Kingdom of Arabia.
You got that backwards : the most Faustian ally of all regimes in ME is the US.
Now we know who leads the show and who calls the shots; and who is surrogate.
A foreign, greedy Empire can NEVER solve the local people's problem in any region.
That's history's first lesson.
For freedom lovers its the people of the land who are the Subject of history not the Objects of shock and awe perpetrators; unless you be Faustian in your beliefs.
Nice retort, but if we ever believed in a Constitutional Republic; aligning ourselves with Wahabbists, and attempting to manage the world...picking up right where the British left off, we as a nation wouldn't have permitted it. I know, it's not a profound statement, but it does have profound implications for we are experiencing living history, and the consequences are only just beginning.
Everyone believes the U.S. is the superpower controlling the petrodollar and that we struck a deal with the Sauds after WWII to establish the reserve currency. I think that's complately ass-backwards. The Sauds are in control here. THEY told US that oil would flow only if THEY could use and manipulate our currency to THEIR ends. THEY essentially hijacked our currency in return for cheap oil. WE work for THEM, not the other way around, and it is NOT a mutually agreed upon symbiotic relationship but a master/slave relationship.
After all, look at the evidence: the Sauds are flush in wealth and their influence reaches around the globe in a way no previous empire could. They have no debt, they control the energy flow, they control global trade through oil and their hijacked dollar. And every US move in the middle east is predicated on keeping the Sauds at the top of the empire.
It is not the US that fears losing the dollar as reserve currency, but the Sauds.
Thanks FP, sharp writing...
Very few know about Schultz's sweetheart deals and even fewer suspect his ascendancy in our government.
I think it was about then it began to on me just how thoroughly riddled with corruption government is.
I don't believe in this revisionist interpretatiation of history. It was not against the vital nat'l security interests of the US to support actions to make the Soviet Union's invasion of Afghanistan as painful as possible. It is easy to say there's a linear connection between the US support of the Mujadeen (sp) and Al Qeuda, but much happened in the intervening years to give cause to Obama Bin Laden, primarily our stationing of a huge military presence in SA.
There is no question whatsoever that
CIA/USAIPAC strongly supported, funded.
and trained Osama bin Laden to wage war
against Russia in Afghanistan .
Bin Laden was a Wahabist from the git-go.
There can be no question that Osama
bin Laden's basic Wahabist creed and
upbringing is rooted in the Wahabism of
his Saudi homeland, where Wahabism
is the official practice of Islam,
and that he teamed up in Afghanistan with
Ayman al-Zawahiri, whos extremist
roots are straight Wahabism/Salafism
and Qutbism
You may believe whatever you like, it's not a religious question.

Why doesn't Russia drone kill ISIS in Syria? What's the US going to say...Don't kill our terrorists?
Perhaps I'm missing something. Why is this newsworthy, both here or in MSM? Drones are a fact of life now, get used to it. Come out against USA, Obama, EU or whoever, and expect to be surveilled by a drone. It's pretty simple really, expect them soon over an interestate near you to help with automated law enforcement and revenue capture for our bankrupt governments at all levels.

I live real close to Whiteman AFB, I can assure you, the preditor is just a very small bird, when those B-2 fly out at night, the sound of the engines roar let you know if they are loaded or not. When the engine roar is very high, it is obvious that someones ass is going to get handed to them. I golf with the guys that fly them, what a way to wage war! Fly off to the other side of the world and bomb them flat, fly home, catching nap on the way back and gold the next afternoon!!! I like their style!!!
