It's more subtle and nuanced than that. Marx and Engels got one thing partly correct, except they forgot that every other form of government ends up with the few owning the many, communism and socialism included.
It isn't about class - it's about ideas and values. Some like and want feudalism - and all the -isms reduce to that - with control, lack of freedom, and everything else. Others don't want that.
This idea spans race, class, income, ethnicity, and nationality.

The funny thing about all this whining about "pussification" is that underneath their bravado, most type-As are actually pussies; so are the "alpha males" that everyone thinks they love, that get dramatized on TV, etc. In truth, you can take most of them out with a single punch. Industry does not want "qualified male candidates to fill positions of leadership." They want docile gender nuetral followers of the corporate double speak. If they wanted male leaders, they would find them among the millions of hands on American males, who did not graduate from the A level or Ivy League Schools. Most large companies are education snobs, and all look to hire from only the top schools.
She could also find them among the most qualified Military Veterans, Officers and Non commisioned officers of all branches of the Armed Serivices. If she still has trouble finding them from these sources, she does not know how to recruit or is giving them so many socio behavioral tests to her applicants the a normal male could not pass.
Pure crap. I bribed an HR person to show me the interview feedback on me 4 companies back, which was: this guy is too much of a driver, he will run right over us, so they did not make an offer. I got into the company much later through another path and my previous interviewers were correct because I got them fired for incompetence. Truth is that laziness & incompetence are so pervasive that the corporate bureaucrats are terrified of high-energy hard-driving men and want docile obedient male pussies.

And since very few bosses got there by brains, well you do the math.

Not just over 40. I'm convinced unemployment among 20 & 30 yr old males is near 50%, no matter what the fraudsters say. In most cases, if these males don't live at home, they live with a girlfriend who works to support them. Alternatively, the girlfriend collects WIC, etc.
The races of those in management positions who do the hiring will shape the landscape going forward. Its not always about qualifications.
Latinos may prefer to hire latinos, chinese likewise, and filipinos do so more than anyone else. Its cultural cohesion. The idea is that it makes life at work easier.
Hence, the more lax our immigration policy is, the more fucked whites will be. Being an "american" no longer has meaning because of these changes. We are losing our identity, and FAST.
Good point. There's now almost entirely Indian-national, or Chinese-national-only tech companies in the USA. If a white run company did that, EEOC would be all over them. But it seems acceptable if minorities staff their companies only with other minorities.
Minorities are the new majority. If the blacks were more professionally oriented and were culturally loyal as the asians are, we would already see large percentages of black workers as part of each companies staffing. 30 years from now, minorities will start dominating congressional and senate seats. If anyone thinks america is being destroyed now, wait and see what things are like then. All these illegals who hacked it out and made something of themselves will be hailed as heroes. Most of us will be old and retired by then or even dead, so the at least the timing of our countries systematic demise is more favorable and tolerable for us.

The substantial population of those involved in Recruiting, Hiring and HR are white females, followed by minority females, then minority men, and last, white males. As a group from the most to the least, they follow orders very well, do not rock the boat, keep their mouth shut, and execute the plans of the Corporate Executives with great enthusiasm.
I have never seen a single male HR Director. Always female, black or latino or white.

I moved to downtown Philly in the early 1980s for one year. Boy, was I surprised to find not one German in Germantown!
Almost hitting 60 years of age. 35 years of experience as a physical therapist. Quit my last job 18 months ago because I was told that I would submit my billing statements in a certain way, which amounted to nothing less than Medicare Fraud. I had quit the prior job for the same reason. Before that I had decade+ long tenures at employers and was constantly being recruited. I've watched health care become crooked. The number of honest jobs in my city of residence are few and the folks there are not leaving for good reason. And, I've been apparently black-listed by the surgeons who owned my prior places of employment. The longer I remain inactive, the less my future opportunities. Younger therapists are more willing to be "enthusiastic" billers in this new economy (they have not known anything else) and they are much cheaper to keep.
Can't easily move on due to family needs. So, I'm dabbling as a "micro" Donald Trump, buying a few acreas of rural land, doing some slight improvmeents and then selling it a year later for a 10% gain. A fraction of my former income. But at least it's honest.

Most STEM grads are young white men. But when they hit the workforce, their applications are overwhelmed and drowned out by H-1B's willing to work at half price.
Maybe they should throw in some Indian language courses for a little insurance.

That was my job description back in the day. We had three Indian dudes, and I was the only one who could understand them. Speaking was the big problem. Their mix of speaking half fast, sloppy english, half C, C+, & Perl (they actually spoke lines of code) was not understandable. I don't know why or how, but I could follow what they were saying.
My job slowly morphed into translator. We would sit in meetings and they would speak, then everyone would turn and look at me. "He said...."
I know plenty of "Indians" who can interact with customers just fine, in fact better than many Americans.

It isn't just stem; know a guy who works for half pay as an accoutant. You don't mention this but one of the problems is the underlying hostility of these people. The accountant was a very angry guy about knowing he was paid half what an American would be (the irony that he wouldn't have the job if they were willing to pay an American...). So it is many many kinds of jobs. AND DON"T FORGET all those college spots. Most public universities give one-half their phd and master's spots to foreigners leaving our own kids out of that opportunity.
My experience is the foreigners become very arrogant, and claim, on message boards and elsewhere, that the reason they're working and Americans are not is because of intelligence, willingness to work hard, etc. Not realizing, of course, that they're just low-cost labour, and pawns of the financial elites to use in their war against the scientific elites.

There are thousands of small acreage farms (less than a section) that are not viable for factory farming. Independent farmers can utilize land that is not pool-table flat for GPS guided equipment. Small herds of cattle, sheep, goats, hogs, chickens, duck, geese, rabbits, etc. are feeding much of the fly-over country. Market gardening is thriving in many communities - labor intensive and not susceptible to mega-corps. Perhaps its time you visited remote areas that have resisted the concrete urbanization. Families still pool labor for butchering of animals for the year ahead, put up preserves, dry fruit and herbs, Do not think that most of the country is tied to Wallyworld.
You say truckers are slaves - there is a whole world of trucking that is not tied to big corporations. Small operators doing okay. Delivery services, grain haulers, logging truckers, water haulers, septic tank waste haulers, and the list is endless. Whats more is that many of these people know how to fix equipment, weld, wire, build, and most of all, they have networks of people of ability.
Sorry to run on but there is so much of the America that we valued still out there - fight to retain these values.

People look at Affirmative Action hiring quotas as benign efforts to give greater opportunities to non whites. It is more than that. For every non white or female you hire through non competitive ways, you diminish the worth of the human being, who was better suited for the opportunity, but was individually sacrificed by society, at the altar of guilt and redress for past discrimination.
Preferential treatment for the undeserving is not a zero sum game. It was not so in the past when practiced against minorities, and it not so today as practiced against white men.
Payback aside, - which many minorities want, - we will never unify as Americans when undeserved racial punishment is the order of the present day as well as for the future.

Marriage was never a good idea. Monogamy is a ridiculous idea, and the nuclear family and every other "private property" approach to human relations of the last 10,000 years (and especially the last 300 years) have all been equally disastrous.
When people no longer work for a living (in some number of decades or centuries) and so are freed from the economic constraints that have always been the strongest reasons for these incoherent arrangements, then you will see the true nature of human social relations. In the final analysis, the Asian communities in America are spectacularly not contributing to the Founders’ plan of a free enterprise contract society built on representative government; their political participation varies from weak to none. They know zip about what made America great; all they know is how to take advantage of it. And, in that Pew works for the Establishment, it always fails to mention that all of America's students are pitted against only the highest ranking Asian students from the best Asian schools, many hand-selected to come to America by America's universities.
Don't think that because asians are doing well it's all hunky dory. They hate whites too. Asians are a very closed culture which is one of the reasons they do well. The real challenge of this century in the West is not equality between races or other fake red-herring groups, but rather -- what are we going to do when there are simply no jobs because of the rise of the cybernetic economy? When labor is no needed because capital and labor become interchangeable -- when machines do everthing better than we can do it, and never ask for a raise?
I just saw a burger-flipping machine the other day. It makes 300 burgers an hour (like one every 12 seconds) and does everything perfectly, no mistakes, and just-in-time -- no wilted prechopped ingredients; custom-ground meat, etc. That alone will displace tens of thousands of workers, and it's only the beginning. By mid-century, driverless cars and trucks will mean no truck drivers, bus drivers, taxi cabs, etc... we wil see the rise of neoluddism like never before, and then we will see the death of the typical antihumanist "Randian" conservative that opposes the "welfare state" because of his Old Testament insistence on equating wages with labor.
So, enjoy your group-politics charts while they last. Soon, they'll be completely irrelevant. Try becoming a doctor if you are a white man. Always go to the young white male doctor since they pretty much have to ace the MCAT to get in to school. Too bad they are almost impossible to find. If you ever see a American Indian woman doctor, run. Pretty much admitted by default.
In my college class we had a girl of Cherokee descent. Got a full ride and guaranteed admission. I remember we asked her what she got on her SAT and she said 1200, admission threshold was supposed to be 1350.

Could also be that the blacks you talk to are completely incompetent. Once a black gets into a position of being able to hire within a company they have no problem hiring black only irrespective of qualifications. You might see a few white women thrown in for "intertainment" purposes. Occationaly you will see a mentally handicapped white guy working the carts outside a grocery store or something but they never hire competition that might threaten their jobs.
