1. If you can get arrested for hunting or fishing without a license, but not for being in the country illegally, you live in a country run by idiots.
2. If you have to get your parents’ permission to go on a field trip or take an aspirin in school, but not to get an abortion, you live in a country run by idiots.
3. If you have to show identification to board an airplane, cash a check, buy liquor or check out a library book, but not to vote on who runs the government, you live in a country run by idiots.
4. If the government wants to ban stable, law-abiding citizens from owning gun magazines with more than ten rounds, but gives 20 F-16 fighter jets to the crazy leaders in Egypt, you live in a country run by idiots.
5. If, in the largest city, you can buy two 16-ounce sodas, but not a 24-ounce soda because 24-ounces of a sugary drink might make you fat, you live in a country run by idiots.
6. If an 80-year-old woman can be stripped searched by the TSA but a woman in a hijab is only subject to having her neck and head searched, you live in a country run by idiots.
7. If your government believes that the best way to eradicate trillions of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more, you live in a country run by idiots.
8. If a seven year old boy can be thrown out of grade school for saying his teacher’s “cute,” but hosting a sexual exploration or diversity class in grade school is perfectly acceptable, you live in a country run by idiots.
9. If hard work and success are met with higher taxes and more government intrusion, while not working is rewarded with EBT cards, WIC checks, Medicaid, subsidized housing and free cell phones, you live in a country run by idiots.
10. If the government’s plan for getting people back to work is to incentivize NOT working, with 99 weeks of unemployment checks and no requirement to prove they applied but can’t find work, you live in a country run by idiots.
11. If being stripped of the ability to defend yourself makes you more “safe” according to the government, you live in a country run by idiots.

Actually most of the things you think idiotic are just common sense. Most of what you complain about is just legal liability, thats the problem not progressive thinking.

1. America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized.
2. Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are victims.
3. They think they are victims - yet their representatives run the government.
4. Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting poorer.
5. The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.
6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about - yet they want America to be more like those other countries.
And the people they elect trot out this bs
1. We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.
You can substitute Muslims with blacks in Ferguson or any group or intangible object the logic still holds.
2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. But we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money? What's interesting is the first group "worked for" their money, but the second didn't.
3. Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our military and cutting our army to a level lower than before WWII, but we are not stopping the payments or benefits to illegal aliens.
This one has to do with 9/11 specifically the Navy......
Proof of idiocy.

Yeah social security is a pay as you go system which means as long as their are inflows there will be outflows even if reduced. It never runs out of money in that regard. You just pay out to level of inflows when there is no excess.
The lie is there isn't enough inflow to pay existing outflow and fund government spending at the same time since they are running low enough on inflows that there isn't enough going into the system to invest in treasury bonds aka special T-Bill trust fund bonds assigned to Social Security and pay the outflows on the older trust bonds that come due at the same time.
Basically means they can't fund government spending using those bonds and pay the outflows at the same time hence it is going bankrupt bullshit.
Illusion of choice when it comes to representatives remember those representatives are tailored to the audience so they think they are voting for their own.
I know the game is rigged the person who wrote this doesn't but the fact of the matter is those people still actually particpate in the process of voting thinking otherwise.
And nope not a victim. That is a state of mind when you get right down to it. So if #1 is all then what about you, are you a victim also?
The glass is half empty and half full at the same time and not only that it can be half empty and half full of liquid and air at the same time so there really is 1 X 2 x 4 ways to look at it depending.

Well, if you put it that way ...
It's run by idiots because most of us are idiots. I feel dumber just by reading these stupid right wing talking points and strawman arguments. Conservatives want to prevent poor people from voting. Maybe we should eliminate over half of Republicans from voting by having an IQ limit. Besides, you don't need a lot of brains to be a corrupt sellout.
Voting is about money, who has it, who keeps it and who gets it. Progressives see everything in the light of wealth distribution and inequalities. Taxation has largely been about redistribution for the last 80 years at least, yet we see an ever greater disparity in wealth distribution. Given these policies, is it not possible that the result is as intended? The war on poverty has entrenched and increased poverty and dependence on entitlements. The war on drugs, the war on terror, the war on communism, have imbedded those issues permanently into our society. Wake the fuck up.
Just once, how about we try fucking freedom. Freedom to work, to starve, to smoke dope, to own a gun and use it, and most of all, enjoy the consequences of each and every fucking thing we do. A few basic rules and for the rest, you are on your own.
Something I learned from two ex-wives...the more I tried to change them, to "improve" them, the "worse" they became, the more resentful and destructive they became, and rightly so. No one has the right to tell someone else how to live, what to believe, what to value. We tell ourselves it is incumbent upon us to help these poor lost souls, to save them. We are wrong. If we have a responsibility, it is to lead by example...something few of us are willing or able to do.
So line up your poor dumb voters, let them do as they wish. Just keep them off of my lawn and out of my life. I owe them nothing as they owe me nothing. Democracy is a great thing until it becomes destructive, until it becomes a tool of theft, oppression, dependency and destruction. This is what we are now faced.
