Alibaba Prices At $68: Here's What Happens Next
The deal is done...
*ALIBABA SAID TO PRICE IPO AT $68: CNBC CITES DOW JONES
At that price, BABA is valued at ~$170 billion - higher than 95% of the S&P 500 and the biggest US IPO ever at $21.8 billion (bigger than Visa's $19.7bn debut in 2008).
So if you want to buy some BABA shares, here's what happens next...
The much anticipated Alibaba IPO will begin trading tomorrow under the symbol BABA. To ensure efficient execution of your orders, please be advised of the following:
- Orders can only be entered after 4:00 pm today.
- All orders entered to participate in the Open tomorrow require a Limit. No Market Orders will be accepted.
- It is anticipated trading will commence at approx. 11 am EST; however, this time is dependent on NYSE bank instruction to its brokers
YHOO shares were rising into the news (after a weak day)...

Not with a 13 foot pole...
Whoever is stupid enough to BUYBUY some BABA shares tomorrow will have a big chunk of his money go BYEBYE in a few weeks time. What do you expect when the insiders are dumping a ton of their holdings.
drop shipping their counterfit coach and gucci products like a mad man!
Do they even ship? When searching for parts for work, that worthless site is the first to come up and I never figured that anyone would be dumb enough to buy from it. F them
The Feds stalk EBAY looking for counterfits priced and passed of as the real thing. Huge markups.
Friend of mine sold 300 hair irons at $250-$300 each that cost $12 each on Alibaba before the manufacturer busted her and filed a law suit.
Hmmm... So a company 'worth' $170b needs $20b, for what? Wouldn't you just borrow $20b?
Unless of course it is a $20 b company.... And the owners want $20b but only give up 15% of their company!
Alot of Chinese insiders just became multi-millionaires, Merikan IPO style. There go Cali house prices up again .
BABA...BaaaahBaaaah....c'mon sheep...right this way....
It's poetic really!!
this ipo is a payoff in dollars to the red chinese upper class, its so fucking obvious. just like the readdiy and clintons.

I don't want to buy BABA. I wanna buy a BABA style IPO. Who do I pay? I'll pay you in a portion of PT shares.
Would anyone like to explain what #ping doodles means; if anything? I don't speak adolescent.
I agree...however..the way sh!t is manipulated..I thnk they learned lessons from past.. I thinm it will go strong for a week..or a few days anyway..just to show that its different now.
Stay tuned I guess..
No kidding, they are getting ready for a major steal on investors and they are laughing to the bank. Hey Alibaba why won't you open on the Chinese stock market? Oh yea, no comment.
"Alibaba and the 40 thieves"...that's reassuring.
This is (money) currency laundering.
RIPS
Cant swap GoPro for BABA. GPRO has too many barriers to entry for their product. Do worry about GPRO couneerfits at BABA though. Too da MOON Alice!

I wonder if I can talk my ex-wife into putting all her portfolio into Alibaba? It'd be cheaper than hiring a hit man; and legal, too. No, we don't get along too well.
Best!
Alibaba ; the Pets.com of this decade.
Cue the sock puppet
Ali Baba and the 40,000,000 counterfiters
Yep. gotta be. not only can this not go on; it can't even BE.
$175B / $68 = 2.57B shares authorized? That's a slow-boat load of shares....
Here's what happens next: Jack Ma doses a Tony Montana size bucket of coke and gets laid tonight
You probably need a second bucket load to find a girl/guy willing to fuck that ugly lil dickhead.
having > 2 billion shares is a hallmark of a company that is trying to fleece its shareholders. People are too stupid to do the math and just focus on the price. E-trade babies can understand and afford $68 a share. But they are too stuipid to realize that that share means they are only a 0.000000000389% stakeholder. Fuckin idiots
Once again; it sounds like a financial news item from the "Onion". Feels like I took my crazy pills just readin this shit.
"here's what happens next..."
more bullshit, fraud, and "pump" and circumstance....
FUCK FRAUD STREET AND THESE RIGGED EMPTY MARKETS...
death to the MoneyChangers..
When you control all the media the sheep watch, you can do a wonderful job of pumping shit up
"So if you want to buy some BABA shares, here's what happens next..."
Dumb money wins ... again?
Uhhh...open Sacajawea? Uhh, open Saskatchewan? Uhh, open Sasperilla?
Uhhhhh...open...Sesame?
I mean seriously...LOONEY TOONEY Alibaba Bunny!
The only thing missing from this rollout will be the sound track from "bah-bah Blacksheep."
Sights and wonders
if I wanted to buy crap i'd just poop in my hand for free.
Got a point there, alright. Can't deny it.
Another outlet for people to spend money they don't have on shit they don't need. Consumerism makes the world go round.
"the U.S.-listed shares won't actually correlate to a stake in Alibaba—instead, the stock will be tied to a Cayman Islands-based holding company connected to Alibaba's profits"
Who where do I sign up to buy some of this!? I can't see anything ever going wrong with this setup.
I'd really like to get some of this, but my financial adviser insists we stick with our 90% exposure to Spainish .Gov bonds, which are sure to turn around at any moment.
Is your advisor Peter Schiff?
Let the music begin.
or stop
The only possible reply to this is "Oi Vey !".
A lot of the stuff they sell is counterfeit design classics.
Isn't that illegal anymore?
Well... they used political muscle in China to push Ebay out of the Chinese market. So ... they do what they want ...
Only in bizarro world can this be possible.
At least the markets are allowed to finally crash when this Mega P&D IPO is done and over with.
I'm in for 200 shares tomorrow, ride it for 2-3 weeks while price goes into the stratosphere then hit the sell button. Biggest IPO in US market history and y'all are sitting on gold that you inherited or stole from your parents waiting for something to go wrong. And it eventually will but get a grip, I'll be buying rolls of gold eagles and silver buffalos when it dropps to 1,100/16 oz, and that's soon, very soon!! If you have the means you really should get in on this IPO, one of the big last plays before the next downturn.
Better run upstairs, I think your mom is calling you for supper! Maybe you can crack a beer with her that you bought with the gold that you've been selling and pretend you're at happy hour. Cheers!
Alibaba may be a bubble and overvalued, but it does not make living just from a like button.
Puffed air for sale!
Get your fresh, hot puffed air here!
Stupid shit!

Avoid the Baba.... save your money, get a two bit hooker to slobber on your dobber and buy some silva instead.
Words of wisdom, from Mr Rythm!
To hell with China. I can't wait for the whole fraudulent enterprise to implode.
A few Alibaba searches:
"morgan dollar"
"mercury dime"
"gold bar"
"bullion"
I've ordered from aliexpress a few times, and only once had to request a refund, which I got without further incident.
My last order from there was some "real deal" name brand merchandise, but I paid about 20% of the sticker-price, and it came with no retail packaging. As far as I can tell, it's the real thing, but probably snuck out the back-door of the factory, late at night. Such is the price to be paid when manufacturers outsource to China, and even they have no idea what facility their stuff is made in.
The big name manufacturers created this problem in their race to the bottom, and as usual, they're the ones who are crying about it.
Ultimately, I think one too many Mick Mouse toys will be ordered from there, and then SOMETHING WILL HAVE TO BE DONE!
