My allocation of shares in the IPO was CUT by +50%. This suggests that the deal was over subscribed - and will trade higher. We shall see.

For the record - I was part of the 45m shares that got sold at the opening price of 92.70. So I made 35% and never put up a dime.

Could small investors have done this? No - 'retail' is long at 94 (and not happy).

I do, however, have 'partners' in this. Of the $24 gain the IRS will get $8, and NYS will get another $2. No complaints.....

I see all the excitement building.  They wait until 1030 or later to do the IPO?  Oh, the Specialist is there, manually matching up the orders in the 'book' getting ready for the first trade.  Everything has to be stabilized, they say.  Everyone has to have their bets, uh, er, orders in.  I have a strange feeling that there is going to be a fleecing.  They are teasing out the buyers.  Now is the time to buy.  All is healthy.  And the sellers are lined up, even thought not a share has traded yet.
