Military Plant In East Ukraine Devastated By Massive Explosion; Kiev Accuses Russia Of Using Tactial Nuke
Last night's headlines crowed in bright red flashing text that Russia and Ukraine had (once again) agreed a cease-fire and terms over the borders between the two nations. Perhaps not surprisingly, mere hours later, Ukraine is claiming that Russia has broken the truce... with the use of a tactical nuclear weapon at Luhansk airport. This comes on the heels of claims by the pro-Russia separatists that Kiev forces destroyed a massive military plant in Donetsk. Russia's defense ministry flatly denies the 'nuclear strikes' adding that "no reasonable person will take them seriously." This truce-breaking action has once again raised calls among Ukrainians for the nation to get its nuclear status back; something Russia is clearly strongly against.
Earlier in the day, a massive military facility in pro-Russian separatist-held Donetsk was destroyed. As RT reports, a neighborhood official told Ukrainian 112 television that a shell hit the plant.
“There was a direct hit at the No 47 industrial explosives shop, where some explosives were present. It detonated and caused another explosion. Luckily it didn’t hit the main storage facility where we have some 2.5 tons of explosives,” said Ivan Prikhod’ko, deputy chair of the local community council.
He added that while the incident caused considerable damage, nobody was hurt.
...
There is no verified report about what kind of weapon hit the plant. But there are rumors of it being targeted by a Tochka-U tactical missile launched by Kiev's troops.
“According to our information, three Tochka-U missiles were fired and there you have it,” a militia member who identified himself as codename ‘Scorpio’ told RT.
Ukrainian media earlier in the day quoted Geletei as telling one of the journalists that the Russian army had delivered two tactical nuclear strikes on the Lugansk airport from a self-propelled Tyulpan 2S4 mortar system, thus causing the Ukrainian troops to leave the area.
“The strikes were so powerful that they demolished buildings completely from top to bottom,” media reports quoted him as saying.
Adn as Inforesist notes, this was confirmed by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Valery Geletey during the return of the Ukrainian delegation from Poland.
It is reported on your page in the Facebook Roman Bocskai.
In particular, the forces of the Russian Federation made two impact of self-propelled mortar 2S4 "Tulip" in Lugansk airport. It is for this reason that our military had left him. Blows were so powerful that "completely destroyed the building from the fifth floor to the basement" - described the minister.

Which, as ITAR-TASS reports, the Russian Defense Ministry flatly denied...
Ukrainian media reports said that Defence Minister Geletei had made this statement upon return from talks in Poland.
“The leadership of Ukraine should consider sending Geletei through a basic military training course where rookies learn the main effects of a nuclear explosion and its consequences,” the Russian Defence Ministry said in what meant to be a jock.
“Speaking seriously, Geletei’s regular attempts to justify the failures of the punitive operation in the south-east of Ukraine by alleged actions of Russian army units look like paranoia. But no reasonable person will take them seriously,” the ministry said.

What is somewhat comical is that these incidents comes just hours after Friday’s signing of an extended ceasefire deal between Kiev and rebel forces, which hopes to put an end to hostilities in eastern Ukraine. The deal includes pulling back all heavy weapons from cities and frontlines.
The blast happened just as a Russian humanitarian aid convoy was unloading elsewhere in the city. Some 200 trucks carrying 2,000 tons of aid crossed the border earlier on Saturday.

The Ukies are putting in an excellent effort in attempting to qualify for IMF's seventeen billion dollars of loans.
You can fault their enthusiasm for blowing up their own shit.
Well if it set off some tons of explosives or flammables then it could have been anything from a smouldering cigarette to a 2,000 pound Russian PGM, I'm sure they have the like. Doesn't seem like there's even a need for any mini-nukes. Anyway nukes of any kind are expensive, I can't see Russia burning one off on the Ukrainians.
The Kiev Junta's press release mechanism is seriously out of control. They do not themselves have a clue what they are claiming in their releases and have never backed one of them up with evidence. If you have read Kiev's releases almost daily, like have for over 6 months, it hurts the brain to look back on all the insane claims coming from Kiev. Discredit is a minor word compared to Kiev's reputation for making claims. Insane babble of lunatci idiots who are delusional in every sense.
What I can get from Ukraine sources today is that a Donetsk chemical plant. [maybe number 17, a USSR age facility] was hit by one or more of two or three tactical surface to surface missiles fired by Ukrainian Army units. We do know that one missile made a direct hit, a second one that missed can be seen off to the right on the video, a small smoke plume from it's impact. Perhaps two tactical missiles hit, as residents reported two shortly spaced massive explosions. But this was a chemical plant, and it may be, as RT said a munitions plant.
As for a tactical nuke strike on Luhansk airport? That makes no sense, the rebels defeated the Ukrainina Army occupiers of Luhansk airport last week in a conventional infantry and tank attack. It sounds todday like Kiev has accused Russia or the rebels of dropping a tactical nuke or convential super bomb, fuel air explosive on an airport the rebels hold and loberated over a week ago. As usual, Kiev is sensless in it's claims. It amazes me to go to "Live Leak" to watch war videos and read comments of people who believe Kiev's media press releases, vistory after victory, at least 17 full scale RUssian invasion over the last 6 months. 2,000 Russian elite troops killed in battle by Ukie army in two days. Shit like that pours out of Kiev daily, and many people still believe it.
Kiev blew the Donetsk Chemical plant with tactical missiles, this is now fact. As for Luhansk Airport, the story makes no sense. But I am going right now to try and confirm from Donbass sources what happened there.
Cease fire? Well, this is rubbish. The rebels have engaged and defeated 3 major offensive strikes by the Ukie army. Since the cease fire. A savage and large battle has been ongoing at Donetsk Airport. Heavy armored battles with Ukie reinforcements. Rebel GRAD strikes on Ukie forces, and several break out attempts by the Ukie, Polish and Western Mercenaries there. All of which have been turned back by the rebels. It is believed that the Uki Donetsk Air Port force has the ultra elite fighters of the Ukrainian Army, Polish special forces fighting as volunteers and other Western mercenaries, German, French, American and others.
Agree JB - the only one who has ever discussed nukes is that maniac Timoshenko ranting about killing every russian in eastern Ukraine. The deranged drivel coming out of the Kiev media on a daily basis is a thing to behold, and no wonder the east wants to seperate. Who wouldn't want to get the hell away from those zombified nut jobs. I've actually been mighty impressed by the restraint of the rebels in not blowing stuff up in Kiev and other areas of western Ukraine given what that regime has done to their homes and families.
As for the Luhansk Airport - it was liberated over a week ago. Lots of Polish merc holding out in the tunnels until the rebels flooded these areas with water, clever boys. The runway was being repaired by Russian army engineers and was actually usable yesterday if I remember correctly. So that story is complete crap.
Putin wants the ceasefire to hold now as all main goals have been acheived. Crimea is now Russian territory, Donetsk and Luhansk have held, and the Ukraine puppet regime is collapsing into a pack of dogs foaming at the mouth and tearing into each other..........and it's only September. Just wait until the winter fully hits and the Russian sanctions bite. Failed state status is waiting for the Ukraine with open arms, and their "friends" in the EU and America who broke it have no intension of paying to fix it (and neither does Putin).
Polish mercenaries seem to be affordable, some say one flew a MiG 29 near a missing airliner
Good point. Evidence of Polish pilots in SU-27's doing airstrikes has been coming out for months. And yes, a Polich Mig-29 pilot seems to now be a likley shooter in the Malaysian airliner shoot down.
The devastation at Luhansk Airport...
This is definetly Ukrainian propaganda “meant to be a jock” *
Reminds me of Pornoshenkos use of word ‘Night vision Google’s’ instead of ‘night vision goggles’ in front of congress.
My opinion... I’d have to see the runway, if you destroy an airport terminal you’ve done squat tactically. If the International runway is ½ – ¾ damaged then it could be a tactical demolition nuke, with the terminal as collateral damage.
Who would it benefit? Not the Russkis that’s for sure, if they were mounting an invasion they would have needed the Airport.
THIS IS ANOTHER INSIDE JOB.
A ‘Jock’ by the way, is a nick name for a Scotsman.
at the start of this war i was neutral but now i cannot stand the ukrainian government and i cannot believe how dumb the ukrainian people are(i have actually tried to tell them that the russian army is not in the donbass and that they are fighting local people which they are telling i am wrong because i do not live their).nearly everyday their is some over the top bullshit story released by the ukrainian government but with zero evidence.nearly everyday the msm backs them up and all i am seeing is innocent people getting caught up here.i feel very sorry for the local people and i have a lot of respect for the freedom fighters.i hope novorrossia becomes a new prosperous country.
is their anyway that the russian government can sue the fuck out of ukraine for defamation.that is something i would like to see.
You, sir, are incoherent and dumb as a bag of bricks.
I award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul.
porkyshenko is that you
interesting.i like to hear your point of view
Calling some one stupid and quoting an Adam Sandler movie is counter intuitive and shows your lack of intelligence.
And dumb as a bag of bricks? Please thats older than your smagma stained panties. Here let me help.
@Minge: Minge you are as dumb as two cocks rubbing together to start a fire.
See? I even made that one up myself.
the fighting is heating up probably because things are getting cold quickly in Kiev.
Wednesday prediction between 6C and 12C. Today Sunday it was 13C to 18C.
In a feew weeks will see 0C at night.
Many comments are along the lines Kiev needs to expand their fiat funding/finance now, before the winter sets in.
the fighting is heating up probably because things are getting cold quickly in Kiev
they need gas to heat things up in kiev and who controls the gas
Not fucking good.
That is what a Russian ????? (FOAB - Cyrillic not rendering) looks like, takes out about 10 square city blocks, small mushroom cloud created. 50 tonnes of TNT equivalent.
Only the USA and Russia have these thermobaric explosive devices.
(oh, and Israel).
And the US and its allies and NATO.
So why is this story not on RT?
Don't razPutin.
Che! I don't trust Drudge anymore! Screw the Media, time to move to another planet!
Who knows?
Maybe the Western media will realize what a demented country they have been in lock step with since the beginning of the year.
NAH
Alas, Babylon....
Re the Lukhansk airport......not even a big explosion. Look at the trees nearby......still in near pristine condition.
Wow, so many America haters rooting for WWIII. Girls, not even a war can save your gold.
inspired by some choice 404s linked to by comments to this page (hey Palmer Eldritch), I present them un-404ed, including video. Maybe I will even post as a reply to the comment in question, hmm....
still they pertain. SFMH = Saved From Memory Hole.

Don't let the nuketards use the CO2 and Global Warming lies to promote nuclear.

I agree with the analysis. I took ALL of the worldwide temperature measurements from 1880 to 2013 and performed averages and other statistical analysis and plotted them in various ways.
The takeaway?
1) No global warming for the last 17 years, the same period in which TPTB have beat the dead horse senseless spouting their non-sense.
2) There is more extreme outliers of temperature, however oddly enough, the standard deviation of the temperature ranges has actually decreased whilst these extremes have manifested.
real data and charts here, check it out.

Uh oh, does this mean there will be a Monday morning fat-finger PM smackdown???
Are you shitting me? This is good for S&P to 2100 or more.
Becuz. "Markets".
Looking at that massive explosion(s), I thought of the large fuel depot tanks that some airports seem to have nearby to service the planes, jets, etc. Generally, those would be serviced by underground pipes, large ones.
See for example http://www.airport-dulles.com/Map.cfm , go to satellite view and zoom in on the east side of the airport, about half way up that eastern runway, right next to Rt.28 Sully Road. About a doze or more enormous fuel tanks.
Now at Luhansk Airport, viewable here http://www.maplandia.com/ukraine/airports/luhansk-airport/ , I'm not seeing those. Perhaps there are underground pipes that service tankers on tractor trailers for fueling the planes/jets, etc.? If something set off those pipes, it would be a pretty big friggin boom, and you wouldn't need a tactical nuke to do it.
That would account for the massive explosions. Several years back, we had a construction crew tap an underground fuel line while building condos and townhouses. MASSIVE explosions were heard many miles away, and the mushroom cloud resembled what you see above in those jpegs and videos.
If a nuke was used it would be known very quickly thanks to radioactive particles in the air. (Remember how they verified the North Korean nukes?)
It makes no sense for Kiev to launch missiles after signing a cease fire, they know that Putin will kick their ass.
This is more likely an industrial accident which cascaded out of control.
Kiev needs a new propaganda minister with a brain.
Kie and his protector NATO looks frustrated with this monster defeat, including lost of Cry-me-a. It satisfy me to observe criminals being hit by their own action. Good for 'em. Hope Russia will destroy economies of Baltic states so it will put EU on rollercoaster
As I do not have a facebook account, I cannot verify the statement. But if the Ua mil. adviser says, that the minister is moron, then this is quite desparate /source russian.rt.com/: Advisor to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko on his Facebook page commented on Defense Minister Valery Geletey the use of Russian nuclear weapons. Gerashchenko believes Geletey mistaken, because "do not know the difference between the power of tactical nuclear weapons and the capacity of conventional, non-nuclear weapons" . Geletey Advisor to the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs said that if in the Lugansk airport really use nuclear weapons, there "there was no one to go." "Why make such statements, which are easy to double-check and refute ?! As a result, we now laugh at, both in Russia and around the world. Although we do not get used to this, unfortunately "- summed up Gerashchenko. Recall now the Ukrainian media reported that the Minister of Defense of Ukraine at the time of his return from Poland, said one of the accompanying journalists that the Russian armed forces struck two blows tactical nuclear weapons of self-propelled mortar 2S4 "Tulip" in Lugansk airport.
google translated it to english.
Gee, an explosives factory blew up. That never happened before.
This smells like retaliation by the rebels, with pro help from abroad.
The scene: 1)A bunch of Langley mercenaries holed up in the airport defending it.
2)Rebel explosive factory goes up
3)Langley mercenaries pay with their lives
Read more about mini nukes here: http://is.gd/FzLqTT (Used by Mossad at the 9/11 incident, according to the Veterans Today article)
RT report on foreign fighters in Ukraine: unpaid volunteers on the rebel side and mercenaries on the kiev side (check out their kill number) http://is.gd/gnVc1m Dont believe RT? BBC and Washington Post have reported on foreign fighters as well.
THey dont wear masks and they are wearing the Ribbon of St. George (I think?), which is good enough reson for me to believe they are there fighting the good fight. Im too old and too rusty, otherwise I might just go there and help out with the nasty business of sneaking around and night. Nothing good happens after 1am in a war zone.
any guess as to who supplied the target coordinates???
Google Earth.
We should be getting radaition counts shortly. They are used to that stuff over there anyway, built up an immunity.
The problem with this 'eye-for-an-eye' strategy is that we all end up blind. That said, no way Ukraine can win this. They're not even on Russian soil. Nor will they ever be. They're declaring their own citizens enemies, and crying like fucking babies for "international aid".
I nearly puked trying to watch my own congress endlessly applaud their installed puppet, Porky.

I don't currently think WWIII will be among the major powers, though.
WWIII will be the bankers-vs-the people, and the major powers will be the force the bankers present.
Looks to me like Putin may defect from the banker alliance, maybe Xinping, too.
If they don't, it's full-on you and me against the (bankers) world.
Not pretty.
Kievs tactic from the outset has been to flip the script or preemtively accuse the opposition of exactly that which they themselves are doing. You can be sure if they are throwing accusations then it is they themselves that are guilty. That the west is supporting this should give very serious food for thought because things have taken a decided turn for the worse this year and it makes the immediate future seem very worrying indeed.
Please someone take away Israel's nukes.
